I played the demo, I didn't know that it has a direct inspiration I thought it was loosely inspired by El Zorro with the whole goofy enemies and enviorement use as a weapon.
Proximity to release, if I think it looks cool, prerelease copies, and quantity of competing reviews are the big ones. It’s not an exact science, and I’m also always looking for recommendations
