I'm glad Mom picked her up when she started crying. I hated when my children cried, because I sensed they were uncomfortable, or hurting. There was no 'tummy time' when they were infants. They kind of rolled over on their tummies when they were ready...and they grew up to be very healthy adults!

Actually It’s encouraged by the AAP to do tummy time everyday. It’s how they build muscles and learn to lift their heads better. A lot of babies react this way and don’t like it much at first because they don’t know how to lift their heads or push up with their arms. They’re learning. Definitely not a bad thing to do at all.
