Yh I agree, I’ve got a boveda large humidor, its excellent, I’ve had mine for 3-4 years and for a non temperature controlled humidor it’s brilliant, the seal is not an issue at all, probs the best desktop humidor on the market
You can also cure and preserve other fine Herbs in this little beauty as well, A wizard who ages for 4-6months his fine Herbs on one side and Tahitian vanilla beans on the opposite side using the dividers to separate them shall be rewarded indescribably.
I purchased two large acrylic humidors from Boveda when they sold them. I recently wrote Boveda about these and they directed me to Northwoods.Acrylic humidors are great! No seasoning, easy care, good seal and above all, you can see your sticks! ;) Wish they made a 100 cigar count version.
Thanks for the review! I'm looking for some advice on acrylic humidors and if you could help me out that would be amazing - Is Boveda (now Northwoods) the best in class for acrylic humidors? Are there any other acrylic humidors I should consider? How does the smaller Boveda unit rate?
np brother - these are the desktop humidors i use , also use a bunch of sistema tupperdores and a couple of king chi temp controlled humidors. i'd say if these are in your budget (either small or large) do not hesitate, you won't be disappointed & better than wooden desktop. You may be able to find a cheaper acrylic but i'm not savvy on everyone in the market. i just know these suit my needs well. hope that helps & thanks for watching brother 😚💨
Nice review and I could not agree more. I am a cabinetmaker and have made humidors but when I bought a Boveda 2nd gen. acrylic with tray I found the best humidor on the market. They are not as pretty as mine but are cool in a "retro" kind of way. I did not know that Northwoods made them for Boveda and that they still make them. I shall look into Northwoods. thanks, JZ
@@ASMRCIGARS thanks for watching brother - yes cost definitely a legitimate factor w/ so many good options out there. Personally, i really like these but of course one of them was gifted to me and the other was purchased many years ago so i didn't have to wrestle with that decision. 👌😚💨
I wouldn’t trust any hygrometer from case elegance. I’ve tested them next to several Govees and calibrated analog hygrometers and the case elegance ones are always WAY off.
good eye! BUT those singles w/ damage came from a Montefortuna clearance sale of slightly damaged cigars. In other words, they came that way -it's not from the humidor or my storage. I got those cigars for pennies and really & wish i had gotten even more. On another note, there is a 5% habanoschris discount code w/ Montefortuna btw ... let me know i can get the precise code for you
@@HabanosChris have you looked at Sistemia containers? If they had that blue gasket I'd be totally on it. These present much better but weary over time how long the packets will last if not sealed

👍 thanks for watching. Yes agree, the seal is a non-issue. Definitely much better than wooden desktops in price range in terms of stability. 😚💨
I agree about the Boveda acrylic humidors. I have 4 of them and they are rock solid! I believe they stopped making the large one though.
@@Joncartervoiceovers yes it's nice having a couple for cigars ready to smoke now, 69rh non cubans and 62rh for cubans.
@@HabanosChris Right on.
The fact that this humidor is see through makes it very cool!😎
yes one of my favorite features as well- thanks for watching. 😚💨
I have one of these and it is EXCELLENT! VERY worthy of its asking price.
glad to hear-yes, i'm happy to have too/these serve a purpose for me. Thanks for watching 🙏

yes agree on all points 👍 100 or 150 count is a good idea. Thanks for watching 😚💨

I've had my boveda and same box have not had to mess with anything for 2 years now.
👍thanks for watching & for your input.. yes, similar experience here. These are definitely low maintenance
I’ve had mine for about a year now! No issues 👍🏻
glad to hear - thanks for watching 👍😚💨
Nice report on a good product.
thank you 🙏
Always enjoy your videos. What do you use for travel?
Glad you enjoy/thanks so much for watching. Actually, next humidor video will be travel humidors. 👍 And of course will keep cigar reviews going😚💨

Thanks for watching Jim-glad you liked it. It is very reliable. I would love to see some of your humidors or cabinetry. 😚💨
Overpriced imo. £220($282) is wild. Including shipping my total would be £290($370) 😅

Nice but i think it's pretty overpriced compared to the case elegance felix pro tupperdor which has a built in digital hygrometer on top of it.

@@zachhoward1473 Well i have 69% boveda packs in mine and it reads 69%. Don't know if you got bad ones but i have two of them and they work great.
I’d love if they didn’t go crazy with their logo on the boxes
thanks for watching friend. Personally i don't mind it helps me quickly distinguish from my other one but appreciate the comment. 😚💨
Knit picking before you own something is a curse I have haha. I’m normally always happy and get over what turned me off in the first place
haha well then at least you have an eye for the details lol
Lol with the tiny scissors opening the packs, just rip it man
🤣 to each his own my friend😚💨
The foot of the cigars look in bad shape like they are dried out .

$200 plus dollars?! NO thank you.
appreciate your opinion. I have several types of humidors including many many Sistema tupperdors and agree those are best on a budget. 👌😚💨
