I used on my 40 foot RV some of that high gloss paver sealer . works well , rain runs right off , but may need to redo every year
Really good video thank you, I would like to see a comparison of the VGG gloss and matt finshes as ai can not seem to find any info of the matt
You can also get a high gloss in the zep if you want a similar look to the other two for cheaper

zep gives it more of natural clean patina poppys and such gives it a show room hey look at me im patina sheen
Great job comparing them, but my biggest question is what does it look like 6 months or years after exposure to the elements. Hopefully, there will be a follow-up video.
Yessir, follow up guaranteed. It's holding up pretty good. But I need to give it a good wash and do a close inspection. That's coming.

I think if your paying that much you should buy a acrylic urethane clear 2 part top coat an roll it on with a moll hair roller.
I'd like to see how they all stack up over time. I have used linseed oil and woke up the next day to a dull pickup
Yep. I know what you mean. I’m going to leave these three panels untouched for a while. We will come back to them next year and do a follow up.

If you wet sand the surface to smooth it out then apply poppys the finish comes out superb 👌

Poppyspatina is 2 part i would expect it to last longer. They offer different shines also.
Is that Zep a finish or sealer? There's a big difference. Sealer doesn't usually have a sheen. As a guy that works on flooring, that Zep floor finish generally gets about 4 coats on a floor, every coat increases the sheen. This is the first I've heard of someone using it on vehicles. Hard to say how the UV would affect it.
The Zep is a High Traffic Floor Polish, a finish.
Nice comparison. But a clear coat aeroso can with acrivator is a lot cheaper isn't it?

Yep, not too different at all. It should hold up better though. At the 1 year mark I am going to do a follow up video on these test panels and see how they are looking.
@MrJustinWheeler I only say that because it reminds me of something lazy people would do to their boots in the military instead of polishing them. They had 'sham shine' which was essentially mop'n glow floor wax for your boots. Haha

How long does product number two that Zep 1 gallon jug and does it attract any dust particles such as baby oil or anything like that I said an oily substance
It’s lasted quite a while. And it completely dries, so it attract dirt. I’ll be doing a 9 month review video later this month to show how well each one is holding up.
Going to have to buy some jugs of that floor sealer!
You need to find you a good hooptie to smear it on.
I used it in my truck about 3 years ago. Still holding up. I’ll prob add another coat in a few months to bring it back out again tho.
Orange hand cleaner works pretty good to.

@@MrJustinWheeler especially rusted old cars with that white oxidation on them. It leaves a nice finish.
I am really curious about whether or not the lines disappear after cutting and polishing on the poppys and vicegripgarage. any comment?
They did to an extent. Tbh, I didn’t put much effort into a cut and polish. Just did a small section to see if it would smooth out, and it did. Could a guy get it like glass, probably if you did two coats and were thorough. I’ve got a follow up video coming to show how they are each holding up 9 months later.

I cleared the whole Chevy s-10 today. Will post a vid here in a couple days. Pretty impressed.

Gonna use this on the hood and roof of my 11’ ppv the Miami sun has killed the clear lol
@@cdz2269 I did not fully remove the streaks, but I didn’t try very hard. In the places where I took my time and applied it correctly, there are no streaks. So it’s possible to apply it in a smooth finish. I think if you’re just doing a hood in the shade, you could get good results.

@@MrJustinWheeler i learned about it from primer is best. He uses it a lot. I plan to use wipe on clear soon but the penetrol works and holds up great “it does take about a week to fully setup but it’s worth it “.

The experiment is still ongoing. Long term testing on each of the vehicles applied the products to.

Still early, but it looks great. No change yet. Overall happy with it.
The zep is a minimum of 4 plus coats.

Floor cleaner won’t do well in UV
Glad I didn’t do a whole vehicle in that yet. I did coat my trailer in the floor polish as a test. Looks good. We will see how long it lasts.
