Always fun watching someone react to Sleep Token for the 1st time. Having become a fan early last year through another reactor’s reaction to Hypnosis, they have become one of my all-time favorite bands in very short order. they may have 2-3 songs in their entire catalog that I would dare skip 😅. As others have pointed out, they don’t really have a genre, they have the unique talent to do many different genres many times within the same track without it sounding forced and still maintaining their unmistakable stamp. No one one like them out there.
Just found out about Sleep Token recently myself, and they are a one of a kind band. I highly recommend Granite, which is the track that follows The Summoning on the upcoming album, but every song is stellar.

You're American so I don't expect you to know the difference between Marmite and Vegemite. You were confused after two minutes of the song and I can relate to that. Like what fucking genre are we in now? But I giggled maniacally because I knew how it ended. Yep! That just happened. Tool to funktown via I don't know what. But the craziest thing is that it worked.
Gawd it's fun to watch people who've never heard ST before he introduced to them with The Summoning. Like I'll never have that experience. Everything in it is something that was at least in some small part of their previous work, just...turned up to 11...and then 21...and then 51... and refined so an exceptional quality. You get almost everything they offered all in one song punch. I'm never gonna get to experience that. It's so cool to see everyone have that.
