- I popped over to the site today to see how the archologicial tam are getting on with their trench digging and must say I am impressed. They are working very fast and fingers crossed descisions can be made in the next month or so.

The orange machine is crushing road planings.
10:49 the green vehicle separates materials. Look it up. The orange digger is scooping crushed concrete into it. Crushed concrete is used for roads.

Looking at the size of it after looking at Master plan, Google maps of Orlando's parks and this land, really is a big site isn't it. Much bigger than it really looks, gonna see big attractions in here 100% & maybe loads of lands? So cannot wait to hear final verdict in June, hoping its a positive one? But nice update, enjoyed and look forward to more to come. 😀👍
Orlando also has those 2 big lakes slap bang in the middle of the parks, which this one doesn't apart from the top of the land

That machine is filtering the spoil from the trenches to see if there's anything interesting buried in the top soil that may require further archeological investigation.
No I don’t think so, they are not removing the spoil from the side of the trench’s. I think it may be completely unrelated to universal.
This was a curious update why was they digging all those lines all over the site?
Btw that massive lake would be a perfect spot to be part of a UK City Walk for water taxi boats
The lines are for archeological trenches to check for anything historic that needs to be recorded.
@@ProjectUniversalUK I was just thinking that it reminded me of the type of stuff they do on Time Team. I loved that show, and I like the new version a fair amount too.
I feel like they would build a lake from scratch like they did in Orlando, but the thought of it is exciting for sure!

@@halcyondaystunes You'd think, but a fully bricked out one like Universal Orlando/Disneyland Paris would be much easier to maintain and build around. Hopefully they'll keep some of the natural stuff there though!

Rumor is they have been offered a good price but no one has confirmed this.
Ah, so this is the Bioreconstruct of Universal Great Britain. Only a matter of touch before Alicia Stella is in touch 😂
A week ago I’d never heard of this Bioreconstruct, now I’m seeing his/her name in a few comments.
Yeah, he’s been doing pretty much this with Universal Epic Universe for many years throughout its construction, and Alicia Stella (who broke the Universal Great Britain story) uses his footage in her videos. It’s a really great contribution to the theme park community 👍

What's the betting they will dig up some archaeology and it gets halted !! Where is it by the way ?
It’s near Bedford, coincidentally that same site had this same procedure carried out in 2020 when another project to build a business park was happening. That never happened but my point here is nothing of significance was found then. Basically universal are going over the same land that’s already been surveyed for their own peace of mind.
Are they going to make a theme park?

No they are digging trenches to check for anything of archaeological interest that may need recording.

Well, it’s not quite for sure yet but they have purchased the land and are conducting public consultations. It looks promising right now.

I added the arrow, thats definatly not growing out the land but the field photo is completely unedidited. That is the current state of play, they are digging trenches to do archological surveys.
Please can you fly around the perimeter of the north and south parcel always facing inward to the Universal land and talk over it. Then go into specific areas that have interest. And also please don’t sing Bonnie Tyler. Thanks in advance! Oh and add some cinematic music composed on garage band.

Yes. Start at Dave’s Snax, get yourself something decent, he’s sound. Then fly from the entrance detailed on the pdf from the official website, across the option to purchase entrance land detailed in red on the pdf maps. As you get into the south parcel aim for the far corner and turn left as you do revealing the full view of all the Universal land including Dave’s Snax. Then as mentioned before fly around the perimeter timing your voiceover and monologue recorded afterwards of course in premier pro complete with the also previously mentioned cinematic music for impact. Thanks again.

No not yet, these are the archeological surveys they will be getting done whilst they wait for plans to be ready.

Apparently during the public consultation talks the representatives said "when we build this park" then quickly changed to "if we build" however they said this every time they did the talk.

God knows how long it would take to construct.
@@gregw4303 hoping to be done for 2030 I think I saw somewhere, also suppose they have to tick all the boxes before then can officially say they're going ahead, It hardly doubt they made the same mistake during the speech every time, especially when they were doing them every 30 minutes over the 2 days

Or a place that will bring in needed construction jobs....ongoing revenue to the area and in longer term provide jobs and bring people to the area to spend money.

And just to be clear, this country, believe it or not has around 9 percent of it built on. The rest is countryside. A quick Google would have told you that.
@halcyondaystunes we can say what we want here too.. that's why people create this sort of content.. to gather opinion. Yes the ones who want to oppose will do so in the correct manner at the correct source.. but we also will have our say on construction videos and up dates alike.
