Of the hundreds of Caribbean vlogs I've watched, this may be the very best! Your technique, your pace, and subjects are fabulous. I love that you take us off of the beaten path to places most folks will never experience. We will be there in 20 days and I really want to learn about Tula and the native history of the island.

Most of the people running on the bridge are locals! Most of us do not have the time to wait for it to move and comeback🤣 Everytime I'm on it, and I hear the bell, I just get the random urge to start running to the otherside lol!

Bedankt Hyro voor deze mooie video!!! Ik herkende trouwens nog het hekwerk op 2 minuten, was laatst op tv hier, een oud raffinaderij medewerker die een eigen bedrijf (noodgedwongen) is begonnen. Echt mooi wat hij maakt.

She's so right not everyone makes the Jambo the same way. Me personally, I love it so much, my dad used to make it sooo delicious. He used to make a big pan of it, neighbours and other relatives would come by to have some. After a good bowl of Jambo you need to go take a nap. Its been a long time since I've eaten the Jambo😋😋. What a great video😁

Prachtige reportage heel mooi, voor die mensen die de komende tijd naar Curaçao gaan zeker kijken en ook Willemsstad bezoeken zoals hier aangegeven, wij waren daar 9 dagen met 10 personen eind oktober 2022 en zaten op Mambo Beach bij Lions dive resort heel goed verzorgd maar wel prijzig, veel genoten en van het eiland gezien. Wij komen zeker hier terug. Walther van Kessel Beek en Donk.

Omg! Love the sea life, the beautiful colorful houses, and murals. Shopping looks so tempting. Would love to visit the Freedom Museum. Can understand why it made u so emotional. Wish we could see u room. Does it have air conditioning?

Hello Rob, (at 5:10) I had to take a break from hearing the different stories of injustice (from the past), it just hit me at that spot trying to explain it all. Curacao is well worth a visit and I hope you are able to one day (soon).

Thank you for the video. It was very informative. I recently bought a recreational drone and am deciding whether or not bring it to Curacao when I visit on vacation, but am not sure if there would be good places where I'd have permission to fly it and also wouldn't be disturbing others. Are there places you'd recommend? The area near the Tula monument seems like it might be a good place to take off from and land without attracting to much attention. Any recommendations please? Thanks!

Hello, well, because of the ongoing restrictions of trade & travel (directly) between Venezuela and our Dutch Caribbean islands this has become a problem. The floating market is open but fruits are imported and sold here (not via the boats like it used to). I do hope they continue to keep it open whichever way because it's a beautiful thing the city has to offer. For transportation in Curacao I would recommend you a taxi if you are only there with a cruise ship. Enjoy your trip, you will love it. Take some water when you get of the ship so it will help against the heat.
