  • In this video we show you how to get 3 displays or monitors on both M1 and M2 Apple Macs. If you need multiple screens on your M1 or M2 Mac computer, then watch this video to find out how it's possible.
    We discuss the following Hub and software that will allow triple displays on the M1 and M2 Macs:
    Minisopuru Triple Display Hub For Macs - amzn.to/3WqqUl7
    One of the key issues with the new M1 and M2 Macs are the fact they can only connect to 1 external display. Now, with the help of this special hub you can connect up to 3 external displays.
    Please subscribe to my channel for more videos on Apple products and services. Also, if you use a link above to make a purchase a very small amount goes to help support the channel. Thank you.

    Hey there, I bought and MVP M1, when my computer broke knowing that I wasn’t ready to use its full capabilities but that anything Mac did from here would be better if it was M1. Just got a job where I need three screens but my super cool computer can’t do it. Thanks for sharing some real talk about a thing I couldn’t do with the machine that I know is capable but not. Heck, I might even get an award at work because I can actually use the tech I have. Thanks man.

      Thanks, I would read the notes on the Amazon page and look for competing models and reviews. This type of tech is not perfect but can help if you need more than one screen. Thanks for watching.

    This is the perfect choice for me, just as I need a device that can solve the limitations of the MacBook, especially the three different screens. I also like many of his thoughtful designs (non-slip and safety locks), thank you for your review.

    I have a Silicon M1 Mac Mini which is connected to my 48 inch Sony Bravia but I have great trouble reading small print on the screen of the tv. I would like to connect a small monitor to it so I can see what I am typing.
    I also have 2 other issues.
    The Mac Mini doesn't seem to recognize my Satachi hub nor my external hard drive for some reason and every time the Sony shuts the screen off I have to keep retyping in the Mac password to get the screen back which is a pain.
    Any ideas you have would be appreciated.

    • @craigneidel
      @craigneidel  ปีที่แล้ว

      Thanks for watching and posting. It's hard for me to troubleshoot those type of issues since I'm not familiar with the type and model of TV and hub etc. So it could be some type of compatibility issue. In any case I would look to see what hubs are compatible and use them. This one might work if you have the right cables but note you need to plug it in to power it etc. and it's more of a complicated hub. Plus, unless you need 3 monitors or external monitors/TVs this is not worth the money (sounds like you only need 2).

They are not perfect but do help with multiple screens after installing the special software. I do product showcases to let people know what is available but I would see how the device worked for others and for your specific setup in the notes as many times good examples are listed there.

    Hi Craig,
    Really appreciate the video. Any chance you had an issue with the Mac not recognizing a display link-enabled device. I know the Minisopuru is connected to the mac successfully because when I plug in a USB thumb drive into the Minisopuru, I'm able to access it on my laptop however whenver I plug in my external monitor, it still says "no display link-enabled device detected". Might be somewhat related, but are you using Mac OS Ventura? I've read online that this maybe an issue with the OS but can't figure out if this is the definitive reason I can't get this to work.

    Thanks for the video @craigneidel ! I am starting a new job and will have to switch to an M1 for work to handle their software. My goal is to mirror 1 monitor, and then have 2 separate. Looks like this will be able to do that. Am I correct in my thinking, or will I use the HDMI out from the M1 for the mirror, and just use 2 of the hubs video connections?

    • @mdfowler8091
      @mdfowler8091 ปีที่แล้ว

      I got it in and everything works great, other than the HDMI slot on display 1. Nothing I have done has gotten it to work. Switched cords, monitors, and checked every setting I could. I was able to get the 3rd monitor to turn on, but that was using a USB to HDMI adapter. Does that sound like the hub has a bad port, or am I doing something wrong? I know the DisplayLink software is good and updated because my other 2 are working.

    • @craigneidel
      @craigneidel  ปีที่แล้ว

      It might be a cable compatibility issue or something weird like that. I would research the amazon thread of questions to see if you are finding any others with the same issue and start there. There are so many different cables and monitors too that it's hard to know exactly what might be causing that.

If I have a Mac Air M1 and need to present a PowerPoint (only in mirror mode) on 3 separate monitors that are at some distance from each other (hanging on walls in middle and ends of a large conference room) this device will not help will it? Sounds as though this works in a similar way to the cheap USB A to HDMI adapter I purchased recently (just to see how well it worked)
    With that i had to install a special piece of software for it to function

    Unfortunately i am not able to test it myself (for various reasons, mainly that I don’t have one, don’t need one, and i am not able to borrow one, oh, and cost as well), but i would guess that it wouldn’t be suitable for things that are graphically intensive (or whatever the term is)

    Need to zoom in much further on the images. Its way too zoomed out. We dont care about your plants or table. Just zoom in on the ports/product.

    No it doesn't, IF you get the displaylink to download on a MAC it quits after an hour - AND there is ZERO support. Don't buy it.

    I bought this based on TH-camr's recommendation and this thing heats up so bad that it burned my hand. Piece of junk might fry your laptop or burst into flames. I returned it right away. TH-camrs are a sell out by recommending this Chinese junk.

      Good luck and just remember I am only one person and I do product showcases. So if you have any bad experiences you can always try a different model as well.

      @@craigneidel Got a replacement unit and still gets hot to the touch. Not as hot as the original unit though. Is that normal? I'm running 3 external displays and charging my MacBook Pro. This will be my normal everyday setup. Honestly, would you trust it for longer use?

      @@mariusmocan740 they all get a bit hot for sure when running monitors through them. I would see water reviews say but that could be normal.
