I utilise a very similar workflow for interior visualisations, the ability to use blender to render out these images and then step inside them using 3rd party software is so powerful!
Congrats bro o the new gear! And yeah, keep pushing the limits, of your knowledge, of your equipment, of your criativity. I would like to transform a photo into 3D, make the scene and immerse myself. I believe this would be cool. I foresee in a near future, the owners of Blender will create a branch of it as a VR workspace environment and we'll be able to make our environments where we'll be working on our stuff. Therefore i think computer screens will be a thing of the past. Everyone will have an immersion room where immerse ourselves anywhere, a festival, a merriage of a friend, meet a group of friends virtually to catch up. VR immersion is the future. Imagine meeting that group of friends in a scene of the moon, having a beer and talking nonsense, whatever.. haha.
Great video! I am currently studying VR at school, and we have to make a VR app game, so I need to create a scene to explore and your video inspire me a lot! Hope you'll make another Domestika course about this! (There's great tutos but nothing on VR currently...)
hi. can you grab objects and move them with the vr controllers, in blender? i was thinking that could be awesome to do the "REAL TIME ANIMATION" grabbing objects while push record anim button.
So you can only move your head 360 but not move around in the scene? Unless i guess you went into render mode and walked around in the mirror mode in blender itself?
Hi, thanks for the tutorial. Im would like to build an short movie in VR and u mentioned that you also tried UE5. What are thoughts on which program would work the best? Blender or UE5?
Is it possible to create a new virtual world using blender like a game for myself and install game in my pc and play myself alone or invite few members or friends i like only to my virtual world Regards C Kishore Reddy
@JamesTralie , Not sure if you will see this here, but I am currently working on a project in blender similar to the one shown in the video. My question is when you export you Final render from this video, is it only 360 degree movement? For example at about the 6:00 minute mark you say you can walk around the scene but only show a stationary camera with 360 degree movement. I am looking for something more interactive like where you can use the joysticks to physically walk around the space with 360 degree visual movement like around the 4:20 mark. Sorry I am far from an animation expert and do not know if I am using correct terminology for this question. any advice would be greatly appreciated.
I don't know why he said that but you can't move around in a scene like that. This is basically a static 360 image projected onto the inside of a sphere. If you were to move off the center position you would see you are just stood inside a large sphere and everything would warp and apear completely flat as you moved. To actually move around you would need a fully 3D scene with 3D objects. For that you will need to use a game engine like Unreal, Unity or Godot.
@@sibience Hey! I know you made this comment a while back, I'm looking to do the same thing, any luck in figuring out how to do that with blender/ The most I've been able to figure out is by using sketchfab but the workflow is choppy and It looks low resolution
Interesting. When I load that add-on I see this message in the side bar: Built without VR/OpenXR features And in my camera settings, there isn't a "Panorama Type" option.
Ok I want you to build me a city that’s online that uses blender type technology. I want it to be like gta but it’s like sims and Roblox each build can be different cities and people do activities there being completely interactive not virtual though some where you can go to the museum and order Burger King
creating vr worlds is my goal. thank u !

We already feel like we're floating in this scene! Can't wait to see the finished product. Thanks for this awesome review!🥰
Thank you for sending along the gear! It’s been a blast working with them :)
@@James_Films Great to hear!
Love seeing your progress creating the VR experiences. I was just thinking about doing something similar the other day. Can't wait to see what's next!
What software are you using to make that into VR?
I remember you saying creating worlds for VR was a goal for you! - glad to see its finally happening
Making it happen finally!! It’s so much easier for me to make these now, so a lot less inertia
Cool But isn't it possible to view it in stereoscopic while adjusting angles, eyedistance etc.? That is what I'm struggling most with.

I was looking at working in ue5 as well. Currently strictly work in blender as well.
Can't wait to see what else you make.

Great video, I’ve dabbled with this a bit but looks like I’ve not delved deep enough!

The panorama type doesn't appear in version 4.1. Do you know where it went?
Are you able to walk around the scene or is it just static?
Awesome video, I have a quick question, can you walk around the VR world you created with the Motion Controllers when you take to Steam VR
Is creating vr worlds already a thing? I mean, what are the possibilities right now? And the limitations?
So you can only move your head 360 but not move around in the scene? Unless i guess you went into render mode and walked around in the mirror mode in blender itself?

Im trying to create 3d world scenes like this for a small show. Do you have tutorials on how not to crash my computer?
So basically you can use any VR Headset not just a HP one?
Let me get this kind of animation render, the house will catch fire

Can you view your scenes in real-time rendered view in evee with vr? I mean with shaders and all that ON.

Are u in cycles?
I am having the same issue
It may be that Blender has changed since this video was made.
How can i do this with a quest being a quest is wireless?
First time viewer, excellent video!
Where is steam VR?
😍😍🥰

😂 The technology isn't there yet. And even then, you'd need to pay millions for that.
Why is it all shaky
cuz it’s in vr and it’s kinda hard to keep your head perfectly still
