Thanks!! Yeah, that would be a shame to cancel that one. Are you spending any extra time in Venice? I think if I had a cruise start there, I would arrive at least 2 days prior to do some sightseeing. Have not been to Venice yet, hope to get there in '23!
Yes we will spend 2 days prior in Venice, and a day and overnight in Monte Carlo before flying back home from Nice. Thanks! PS have you seen the promos for the new Regent Seven Seas “Grandeur”? It looks awesome as well!
That airport in Puerto Rico that you see when coming into port is not the main airport for Puerto Rico. It i a kind of smaller commuter/private pilots airport.
The family enjoys your videos. We sat around and watched this one on the big screen today. Biggest comment was, "Ice cubes and skim milk!?" Noticed you don't talk about what you have to drink with your meals (other then the skim milk). I recall you were not much of a beer drinker. Do you have wine with dinner?
I like my milk as cold as a witch's tit in a brass bra! All the drinks are included, so I usually have wine with dinner. Once or twice, I had a cocktail with dinner, but I forget which nights. The wines they pour are usually pretty good. The sommelier can recommend and pour others for an upcharge. My palate is not that discerning, so I stick with the normal pour.
Oh yes! After the second day, where we were on Great Stirrup Cay, most days were very rocky. If you look at the tour video (th-cam.com/video/_Wcm4Qvshbg/w-d-xo.html), around timestamp 14:04, you will see a very good example. The last couple of days were less rough.
Thanks for watching! The food was mostly very good, but not excellent. Prior to this, we last cruised with Regent in 2014, and we both felt the food was better back then. Perhaps it was the pandemic, and they have yet to get back to full capability. I don't know. We are going to try other cruise lines (Ritz Carlton, Silverseas, Celebrity) over the next few years.

@@DJTravels we went on oceania riviera in December and the food was amazing. A bit of a boring cruise though...
We also want to try Oceania, but the itineraries have not worked out for us yet. We will see what the schedule is like in 2024!
