I see you commented on several videos. Thanks for coming along with us!! We will be leaving for a long European cruise in a few weeks, so please check back for new videos.
Enjoying your videos. We were on this cruise as well and chatted with you about your camera for a few minutes one morning at breakfast. We were in 934, just down the hall from you. This was our first Regent cruise but it won't be our last. Looking forward to the rest of your videos. Happy New Year.
That is awesome! I hope you enjoyed the cruise. This was our fourth Regent cruise, and we have another back-to-back in Northern Europe scheduled for August. Happy New Year!
Fantastic video! I've sold many regents seven seas cruises when in another life I was a travel agent, and I've always wanted to sail on one. Your video has sealed the deal! Great clarity and narration. Loved the "towel" scene.
Wonderful video, thank you so much for sharing your impressions. We’ll be on the splendor in December „festive cruise“. It’ll be our first regent cruise.
We are going on this ship from Miami to Lisbon next spring. Staying in a penthouse suite for disabled. The only difference is no bath, much bigger shower. This will be our 8th Regent cruise. We are spoiled, the ships, food and service is so good. We have met many enjoyable guests. The excursions are very good and varied according to activity. I think we will cruise every year, my husband is disabled but I go on excursions he cannot, like some deep scuba diving. Wow, what fun. We are in our mid 70s, typical for these cruises.
Thanks for watching! This was our fourth, and we are going on another in August; this time on Voyager. Trying to decide on trying other cruise lines. Were going to try Crystal but then......
Love your videos ! You’re room was so beautiful ! You are very lucky you didn’t book a Crystal Cruise. We are still waiting to recoup the money we paid for a cruise that was cancelled due to their bankruptcy.
Thanks for watching! We did book the cruise and paid $200.00. We cancelled about 3 weeks later because their COVID policy was not very flexible, and got the refund. Then, 2 weeks later they kicked everybody off in Bermuda. A waiter on our current cruise was on their other ship, and got kicked off in Belize! He still hasn’t gotten his last paycheck.
Had to edit out a portion of the men's locker room tour. One commentor noted that I violated a man's privacy when he was filmed with a towel on. Only showed his back for a second or three (no face). But to be appropriate, I blurred out a short section. Sorry for any inconvenience!
Ha, as you were touring I thought the, passengers seemed a bit unstable by the way they we walking. That is until I saw the swimming pool rocking and rolling.
Yes, the ship was really rocking that day. We went up to trivia in the afternoon and Johnetta got seasick. We had to avoid the top decks for two straight days.
Good day, Estatus! Thanks for watching. While it is not marketed as a senior cruise line, the average of the cruisers is probably 65 - 70. We are both 60, and there were about 10 or so younger couples (20-40) onboard.
Not sure; never got around to ask guest services. But my impression was that the ship was more around 75% full. You never felt it until the nightly shows. The theatre was rather full.
Glad to have YT algorithm recommend this series, it's super helpful to see in such great detail w/ your narration. I'm slightly disappointed that you mentioned the "younger age generation" is in the serious minority, but I suppose that's to be expected due to the price point. =) We are interested in the longer itineraries (15-20+ days) actually -- please definitely do a vid if you guys go long. Thank you
Thanks for watching! If I remember correctly, the under 55 crowd was maybe 10-16 in total. In August, we will be doing a 22 night cruise (back to back itineraries), going to the Baltic and then around the British Isles. I may be posting from the ship if the internet improves. If not, look forward to new posts in September.
THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR THIS VIDEO!!! VERY INFORMATIVE!
Glad it was helpful!
Daren ... Great video ... very informative. Happy Travels.
Thanks for watching!!
I am enjoying your tour. Due to health issues I am unable to travel at this time but I doing virtual cruising. Thank you I am enjoying your videos.

Glad it was helpful! I had to go back a review to find out what you meant by the "towel" scene.
I was inspired also @Eric Ericson. Booked my cabin today.
This looks like a dream, fabulous ship. Thx for posting.
Thanks for watching!!

Thank you for the narration. Very informative.
Glad you enjoyed it!
Very nice tour. Seems like a new luxurious ship. Love the space and layout of the suite.
It really is!
Great video. Thank you very much. Joining soon to work there. So excited.
Really?! The staff were all excellent from a passenger perspective. What will be your position?
Happy to hear that. Will be joining as an assistant waiter.
Good luck with the new position!! Our next cruise is on the Regent Voyager, but that is not until August.
Thank you Sir.
Enjoy well you next cruise with Regent Voyager.

Very nice video thanks for sharing, is this a senior citizen cruise?

Great video. We are on Splendor later this year. Looked like ship was pretty empty. Fifty percent capacity?
Not sure; never got around to ask guest services. But my impression was that the ship was more around 75% full. You never felt it until the nightly shows. The theatre was rather full.

Nicely done. What would you say is the average age of passengers on a cruise such as this? Thank you.
My guess would be right around 70. There were 3 - 4 younger couples (under 40) onboard, but they were definitely in the minority.
Ships do not have floors, they have decks. Also the rear of the ship is called aft.
Point taken. Hard to remember that it is a ship, not a hotel!
Wow thanks I was so confused!
My daughter, wife, and I were watching this on the big TV. My wife says, "Why does he run up the steps?"
Ha ha, sounds like something my wife would say!
