It’s not 400 pounds lighter!! C6 ZR1 is somewhere around 3320-3330 pounds and the C7 Zr1 is about 3560 pounds. A little over 200 pounds lighter but the c7 zr1 has about 117 more hp
@@PetOwner678 I just test drove a zr1 c6, i downshifted into first gear I was going 65 miles an hour and I was below 6500rpm. I believe first gear tops out at 67-68mph.
@@PetOwner678 it didn't look like 2nd from 60 to me. My C6 Z06 can break the tires loose from that hit if the conditions aren't great and I'm only making 490whp. It looked really soft on th he hit to me, definitely didn't look like a 2nd gear hit from 60.

@@biggiesmalls7939 that's incorrect. Google z06 and zr1 gear ratios. The first gear of a c6 zr1 tops out at 67 mph. The zr1 has a longer first gear than the z06 while having shorter second through 5th gears.
And that high spoiler on the C7 Zr1 helped the C6 Zr1 as well😂 grab a manual C7 Zr1 with the low spoiler and do a rematch so you learn how power to weight ratios work. Lmao

The C7 is a newer platform with better brakes, suspension, downforce, etc. The C6Z is older, it’s no contest. Yes the C7 heavier but your argument only holds if the C6Z is modded to have the same power which is an ideal scenario for the C6 fanboys. That’s why it makes sense to compare stock for stock. You mod your C6Z to 900 hp and it will beat any C7 with less than 1000 hp. But find one with similar mods with more power and you are SOL

I think you confuse drag with downforce.
Sounds like C6 ZR1 should have downshifted for that speed.
No . The race starts at 60MPH .. 1st gear tops out at 60 so it’s actually almost perfect speed to race

Also, that’s a ZTK C7 Zr1 with the high spoiler, if it had the low spoiler it would be even deadlier in a roll race
