If you have 45% of passive afinity plus 50% from weakness exploit you don't need agitator imo attack +4 would be better imo or even something else but these sets are great :)

For the first time I don't feel bad about not having challenger+ decos, I can just put the skill on the weapon and go grab a couple extra offensive skills to lessen the dps loss.
@@piruchiruchi I already did a long time ago status affect cost a ton of dracolite you'll end up just quitting and reloading till you get just a status level 1 slot sometimes it's easily given most of the time it isn't I've gotten all of them unlocked some I have 2 copies of with different class set bonuses but the most frustrating part is when you have all give slots occupied it keeps giving you level 6 status up even though you have it or other slot skills and it takes forever to get just one level up for status which is why instead of letting it be and go for more dracolite I started selling dup weapon rewards or meld weapons for more dracolite then I realize oh wait just quit to the menu without saving and try.again and Save once you get a slot without spend so much dracolite I I literally slain safi around 100+ time

They are nice... I loaded the Safi Dragon LS with Affinity mods and can finally hit 100Affin( no crit boost jewels like some of you lucky bastards)... however these weapons can also be augmented so there’s that too
Excelent! I like Iceborn and Safi's weapons because it will not be the same like kulve taroth siege. It wont happen that forge weapons will be so far devalued by them. Differences arent too much longer.

Noob question here, I just got the Safi's frostclaws and got that same awakening, but somehow I only got 450 ice element instead of that 750, is that 750 native to the safi's blades or is that after counting ice attack/frost jewels?
I know It's not quite as strong but I put Silver Rath Essence on my Ele DBs so I can swap out the Silver Gauntlets and replace Slinger Capacity with something more useful (Swap out the boots for Garuga on the Thunder set finally). Teostra, Acidic Glave, and a few others I'm sure I'm forgetting have better skills/slots.
It's 5 star rarity for a reason. Took over 50 stored potential in my Water Blades to get it. I also needed it the most on those because I disliked using the Jyura blades.
What I do is I try and get it with what I have. If I can’t I leave the game without saving. Come back and run a Safi’jiiva raid or two with that weapon. Since it builds potential you basically get a whole new set of rolls so you get a good chance of getting it.
I would like to see your thoughts on status DB like blast and poison. Also if you think it's worth slotting S.R essence to add 2 piece Namielle element acceleration

The white sharpness is enough to kill a montster with protective polish. However there is no space. you can use masters touch + Crit element but you have then 20% less elemental damage if you lose TCE which just extends the fight again so doesnt really make stuff easier.
Dude I feel like my whole world got flipped, I use masters touch for pretty much all my builds but I had no idea you could combine item prolonger and protective polish like that too make masters touch useless, why does nobody ever mention this in build videos?? (Besides this one obviously) that changes a lot of things in my eyes

In the MH community some knowledge is believed to be true because of repetition. No, Gold Rathian weapons and MT aren't the end all be all of MHW sets. Many alternatives are comparable and possibly better depending how you play.
why is it better to run silver reth set over safi set? i tried both and for some reason the safi set beat silver rath (it was on safi though i didn’t try it in normal hunts)
TCE is 55% more elemental damage. Safi is about 20% + extra bit raw. Saif is not good for anything exceptelemental ammo lbgs & Elemental saeds. Everywhere else it gets outdamaged.
There not really worth it I finally got all status up on them and without augmentations its deal 270 blast Brachydious blasters deal 300 without augmentations there nice to have but all the ailment safi weapons aren't that good except for maybe sleep and paralysis due to the fact that you dont need free ammo up on it

So armor upgrades essence do only count as 1 part. This means to get true crit element you still would have to use 3 Silverlos parts. Its not what everyone was hoping to get full armor skills as an augment :p. So yeah this is the best possible combination.

I personally dont use but its also my main weapon i barelly get hit. everyone has to know on himself of how confident he is without taking too much hits and loose dps because of healing. if you think you will get hit alot and need healing its better to just drop 40 element and have more dps uptime.

Ok so I maxed out the dragon bow version with everything invested in elemwnt except one and that one is Silver Essence skill. I would like to know if it is worth it to drop 1 so I could use 3 silver peaces instead of 4 to get true crit element. My current Element is:720 Dragon this includes 3 augments invested in Element as well. And it seems pretty good I would like to know if this is worth it before I am going to Upgrade those dual blades
Hmm Would it be better to go with the full Safi 5 set instead, taking into account the massive Element it gives + the 40% affinity I get that it might not be a speedrunning build, but to prevent you from reflecting, I go with Purple Sharpness Affinity 6, 5, 5 ; Sharpness 5 (Purple Sharpness) ; Teostra Set Bonus Teostra Helm, Safi Chest, Gloves, Legs, Teostra Belt It isn't ideal b/c I lack the Handicraft 4 Charm, I'm only at 3, so it isn't optimal, but essentially I have permanent Purple Sharpness, 100% Base Affinity (NO Weakness Exploit at ALL), Vitality 3, Blight Resistance 3 (Immune to Cancerous Blights), massive healing between Health Augment and Safi 3 Set, Bonus Dragon Element via Mantle + 3 Set I get what you're saying regarding high Element, and I'll be making a build like that too, but at least for me, a general Build with Infinite Purple Sharpness and good variability, high healing, is just better all around for 'general' gameplay (Crit Eye 2 + Latent Power 1 from Helm; Latent power triggers OFTEN and gives a bonus 30% Stamina Reduction, Theoretically I could lose 1 Crit Eye Gem, and just trust Latent Power but that sliver of purple goes pretty quick at 90% affinity from my testing). Assuming they add difficult monsters to the game, i.e. Fatalis, AT MR Elders, etc. I will most definitely be running with the max Elemental Damage Builds, and most likely Max Resistance Builds too, but then again they'll easily be 30-40 minute long fights with the crazy amounts of health they'll be getting, so that's not too surprising
No surprise that Eduring Complicates the DB Dragon Safi Meta. They have such insane Dragon to start and bump up its ridiculous pre Safi. Combined with the typical Elderseal proc rate of DBs, and its handsdown the best Sealing weapon on any Elder even if Dragon is not the best damage dealer.
Just use "Challenger/Vitality" jewels instead of the god tier ones (its what I do). For fire and thunder you get HB3. In the fire set swap out the attack jewel in the fire set for the last level - anything less than ATK Boost 4 looks retarded anyway. As for thunder, swap the charm to the master's charm (I recommend doing this for the DB builds if you don't have two expert+ - I sure don't) and just slot in three Chall/Vit jewels. Use element+ decos to get lvl6 for water, ice and dragon. For the rest, you slot in two Chall/Vit you get HB2, which is still good. The only thing you lose with my sets is the grinder, but eh.
why? i fit all skills in taht rise damage. its not a opinion its a fac of whats better. using silverlos essence will cost you 70 less element. and maybe fit 1 more skills in
@@Moraalridder123 i am a CB main but switch to DB cuz of its mobility if you reach mr 80 ther are some really gpod armor that have many slots on it. After you get good armor and mantle when you engage into the monster make sure you memorized it's move set so you know when to use the full combo that cant be cancelled. Hope this help

thats not how it works, the essence counts as 1 part only, you still would need 3 silver parts which is not efficent. no silverlos skills means 55% less damage
i recommend raw increase, because the status are so low and get barelly increased. If you want a pure blast build ignoring the less raw damage brachydios is far superior
@@IDeVaste I built the blast stafi'jiva ones with a mix of element up, attk up, affinity (6*) and most likely sharpness. I know the brachydios are decent too. It's too bad that the raw increase is better than using status up...
Something fit not the frost DB have not 399 attack its only 378 if you Upgrade all in Element and Argument in Element too how you get the weapon from 378 up to 399???
No silver Rathalos essence? I would’ve thought that would help. I was contemplating the new sifa gear because although it doesn’t have as much damage it’s pretty good with damage and gives you a lot of quality of life if you want it or you can throw 5 agitator on there if you want.
I’m confused how did you build the fire version as I don’t think a blaze +4 gives you 6 levels of fire attack when non of the armor runs fire attack nor any decorations.
The grinding ends in 20 days so it’s quite hard to get all these upgrades for 2-3 different classes That being said , let me ask you: How many times do you slay Papi’jiiva in one day , Deva ?

Joshua Kuo , even if you you put some more damaging skills like 1-2 attack it still would compensate the 70 elemental loss. Armor augments will be used mostly for armor that have really bad skills/slots. On this one it wasnt
Situational builds. The armour skill is something we are not use too and takes reaction and survivability skill to the max. Its strong just gotta learn to dodge....a lot.
Jay Miranda the math has been made dont worry. Also on double element weapons you must divide by 2. so it basically has only 180 since 1 blade is element and 1 blade poison. Also rarity 10 wins always win because more augments

Is eEement Up exit in awakening weapon. I have tried about 31 time in one weapon and all they appear is Affinity, sharpness, weapon damage and other crap thing.
Koshi 85 safi weapons fire thunder and water element probably with it. Ice and dragon is way less element than beotodus and vaal. However this is hust for saed gameplay. Safi is bad for savage axe

Get them first before using slot for any upgrade. Adding is much easier

High Octane use instead of double agitator a double attack, must have swapped it. Just agitator is not active ofvourse in the town

I do a more well-rounded approach to Safi Weapons: Attack V, Affinity V, Element/Status V, and Sharpness VI (or Sharpness VI+V)

I personally dont use but its also my main weapon i barelly get hit. everyone has to know on himself of how confident he is without taking too much hits and loose dps because of healing. if you think you will get hit alot and need healing its better to just drop 40 element and have more dps uptime.

it counts as 1 part. you still would have to equip 3parts which isnt worth.
Ok so I maxed out the dragon bow version with everything invested in elemwnt except one and that one is Silver Essence skill. I would like to know if it is worth it to drop 1 so I could use 3 silver peaces instead of 4 to get true crit element. My current Element is:720 Dragon this includes 3 augments invested in Element as well. And it seems pretty good I would like to know if this is worth it before I am going to Upgrade those dual blades

It isn't ideal b/c I lack the Handicraft 4 Charm, I'm only at 3, so it isn't optimal, but essentially I have permanent Purple Sharpness, 100% Base Affinity (NO Weakness Exploit at ALL), Vitality 3, Blight Resistance 3 (Immune to Cancerous Blights), massive healing between Health Augment and Safi 3 Set, Bonus Dragon Element via Mantle + 3 Set
I get what you're saying regarding high Element, and I'll be making a build like that too, but at least for me, a general Build with Infinite Purple Sharpness and good variability, high healing, is just better all around for 'general' gameplay (Crit Eye 2 + Latent Power 1 from Helm; Latent power triggers OFTEN and gives a bonus 30% Stamina Reduction, Theoretically I could lose 1 Crit Eye Gem, and just trust Latent Power but that sliver of purple goes pretty quick at 90% affinity from my testing).
Assuming they add difficult monsters to the game, i.e. Fatalis, AT MR Elders, etc. I will most definitely be running with the max Elemental Damage Builds, and most likely Max Resistance Builds too, but then again they'll easily be 30-40 minute long fights with the crazy amounts of health they'll be getting, so that's not too surprising

No surprise that Eduring Complicates the DB Dragon Safi Meta. They have such insane Dragon to start and bump up its ridiculous pre Safi. Combined with the typical Elderseal proc rate of DBs, and its handsdown the best Sealing weapon on any Elder even if Dragon is not the best damage dealer.

Any alternative builds which include health boost lvl3? People sleep on it for general hunts. I'm not a speedrunner.
Just use "Challenger/Vitality" jewels instead of the god tier ones (its what I do). For fire and thunder you get HB3. In the fire set swap out the attack jewel in the fire set for the last level - anything less than ATK Boost 4 looks retarded anyway.
As for thunder, swap the charm to the master's charm (I recommend doing this for the DB builds if you don't have two expert+ - I sure don't) and just slot in three Chall/Vit jewels. Use element+ decos to get lvl6 for water, ice and dragon.
For the rest, you slot in two Chall/Vit you get HB2, which is still good.
The only thing you lose with my sets is the grinder, but eh.
In your opinion it's better to run all elemental attack up, rather than a silver rath essence? That way you can get some decent gloves in the set.
why? i fit all skills in taht rise damage. its not a opinion its a fac of whats better. using silverlos essence will cost you 70 less element. and maybe fit 1 more skills in
Really like DB, but i always get one shotted because i cant fit health boost 3, which really sucks

@@Moraalridder123 i am a CB main but switch to DB cuz of its mobility if you reach mr 80 ther are some really gpod armor that have many slots on it. After you get good armor and mantle when you engage into the monster make sure you memorized it's move set so you know when to use the full combo that cant be cancelled.

thats not how it works, the essence counts as 1 part only, you still would need 3 silver parts which is not efficent. no silverlos skills means 55% less damage

i recommend raw increase, because the status are so low and get barelly increased. If you want a pure blast build ignoring the less raw damage brachydios is far superior
@@IDeVaste I built the blast stafi'jiva ones with a mix of element up, attk up, affinity (6*) and most likely sharpness. I know the brachydios are decent too. It's too bad that the raw increase is better than using status up...

No silver Rathalos essence? I would’ve thought that would help. I was contemplating the new sifa gear because although it doesn’t have as much damage it’s pretty good with damage and gives you a lot of quality of life if you want it or you can throw 5 agitator on there if you want.

I’m confused how did you build the fire version as I don’t think a blaze +4 gives you 6 levels of fire attack when non of the armor runs fire attack nor any decorations.

Joshua Kuo , even if you you put some more damaging skills like 1-2 attack it still would compensate the 70 elemental loss. Armor augments will be used mostly for armor that have really bad skills/slots. On this one it wasnt

Situational builds. The armour skill is something we are not use too and takes reaction and survivability skill to the max. Its strong just gotta learn to dodge....a lot.

Jay Miranda the math has been made dont worry. Also on double element weapons you must divide by 2. so it basically has only 180 since 1 blade is element and 1 blade poison. Also rarity 10 wins always win because more augments

Koshi 85 safi weapons fire thunder and water element probably with it. Ice and dragon is way less element than beotodus and vaal. However this is hust for saed gameplay. Safi is bad for savage axe
