What an adventure getting to the next town.
You mentioned everyone else uses suitcases (versus carrying all in a backpack). Does that mean on the TMB portion there are services that carry all your stuff from village to village for you? How civilized.
Guessing when you diverge from the TMB that kind of service isn’t available?
Trail looks super… not many rocks and no roots so far. Sweet!

Yes, if you book through a guide company then you have the option to send a suitcase ahead. And the service is available on the Haute Route as well. We give trail maintainers a 10/10 on this trek! It stayed beautiful the whole way through

If only we could eat that way every day...LOL. You wouldn't believe the breakfasts they served over there. Cheese and meat and bread heaven.

What views! Not a big sandwich guy and I hate hard boiled eggs so I guess I can't go to Europe though.

I enjoy watching your trip! Do you all have a pack list/ recommendation on what to bring. Planning on doing this next year around the same time in late august to September.
Also for food, should we bring all or some of our own food/snacks since we have allergies to certain foods?

Hi there! We are planning on putting together a gear video for what we ended up brining on the trip and VS what we actually used and needed. Will get that video up over this winter.
As for food, all of the hotels and mountain huts were extremely accommodating for folks with allergies. We booked through Alpine Exploratory. And they would be able to alert every single accommodation on the trip if you had an allergies. So we highly recommend booking through them to make sure your food is sorted. But there were many markets where you could pick things out for the day of hiking.
