The 2 bags I showed on the video were a ‘Deuter Guide 35+’, which is perfect for the Haute Route (normal), as it has 35 litre capacity, with a ‘floating lid’, which means it can be extended & so the capacity can be increased. The smaller one is an ‘Ortovox Cross Rider 20l’, which is actually for skiing/snowboarding, but I find it super comfy for hiking when I don’t need to carry loads of stuff, as it’s only has 20 litre capacity. I’d definitely suggest you go to your local outdoor stockist & try a few packs - take the kit you’d usually have with you & load it up, as it’ll give a realistic idea of how it fits on you. Tim
