Someone on the raspberry pi forums made a tutorial on how to run Java Edition 1.16.4 on the Pi, and if you have a cooling solution you can actually overclock the Pi’s ARM chip to 2.1 ghz on the cpu and 700 mhz on the gpu, and play the game at a somewhat playable 35 fps on most survival servers.
If you get a cooling setup, like the Ice Tower Cooler for Raspberry Pi, you can overclock the arm chip to a point where you can get about 30 frames per second in Minecraft Java Edition 1.16.4 (With the Sodium renderer), which can be installed on the Pi.
