This trail took us EIGHT days to complete! (Washington Backcountry Discovery Route) [ep 141]

- Join us for an incredible eight day overlanding experience to the Canadian border through the heart of the Washington backcountry.
During our eight day excursion we encountered rough terrain, nerve wracking shelf roads, volcanic landscapes, and hundreds of thousands of acres of burnt forest. I can't accurately put into words how this trip made me feel. The diversity in the geography was both awe inspiring and saddening.
In some ways this trip felt completely normal. After all, we've been living this type of minimal adventurist lifestyle for more than five years now. But in other ways, it was a totally new experience.
How would all the vehicles do? How would the @mdcusa1851 Jackson FF do across 600 miles of rugged backcountry and tight switchbacks?
Together with Bryce from @Geeks4x4 and Greg and Kendra from @GraceAndCamoAdventures we would all soon find out.

Count your blessing for not being able to make that turn into the jungle. The jungle consists of several switchbacks that you will not be able to navigate with a trailer without damage or a lot of work.

My neck of the woods. My wife and I have done the WABDR in sections over the years and are quite familiar with most of the areas having family spread out across the state.
