Nice video Robert...it's so tempting to take too much. Using my XR650R for many years taught me to be fairly minimalist..i made some pannier brackets from lawn mower handles for my army surplus luggage! Now its pure luxury with Kriega os on the T7! I felt very jealous watching you pack..i have torn intercostal muscles at the moment so not riding 😢. Look forward to seeing more. Cheers, Steve
”Plastpåsar till fötterna om stövlarna blir blöta och inte hinner torka” Ett riktigt bra tips och som man nu tänker … ”självklart”. Jag ser fram emot OUTDURO det ska riktigt kul och nu kanske med torrare fötter. 😊
Good video Robert. Sure wish I could go on that meet but cant seem to figure out what bike to buy yet now when back in Sweden. I like the minimalist approach. It is nice to be able to go to such events. Have fun. Cheers from Falbögda
Buen trabajo de organización!! Gracias por compartir , siempre se aprende . Mucha suerte en el evento ! Que regreses a casa con bienestar . Saludos desde México
Packing like a pro Rob! You look covered, painkillers an passport, that's luxury items 👀🤣🙌. If You go with the 22, there are plenty of room for some surprises to bring to Outduro and maybe some surprises to take back home ☝️😁 Have a great ADV and stay close to Ole Marius. 💪🤠🔥
Hi Robert, Nice short video. It seems one really needs to invest in smal and light camping gear to be able to use the reckless 40. A pro camping tip….. you can leave the toiletries like the super wipe 2000 at home if you bring the kitten. It is reusable deu to self-cleaning…😉 Looking forward to the event-video!
I pack the other way round, Robert. Not starting at zero and adding up. But starting from everything and taking most unnecessary things away. Since I do ride in Europe with lots of shops and helping hands round the corner ;-) Light is right. Have a great weekend, Günter/Nürnberg
İf you go one week there is no room for food and food cover to much space ,great video perfect organize 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻and moskobags are great but really expensive and also other stuff but you can use them many years so buy once quality stuff if you can take ... Thanks
Nice kit, Robert. I always run out of space with the 40 and usually pack the 80. Probably because I always bring cooking gear and my (under)pants are bigger than yours 😀 While I keep my hopes up for a 60, I have removed my aux pockets and skipped extra socks. PS. Nice and swift cat removal!
Nice video as allways Robert. Due to all that nice things I heard and saw in various videos I was thinking of visiting Outduro Scout too. But over the last months a lot of annoying small and bigger Problems occured. And when the most oft them were sorted out unfortunately the tickets were sold out. 😁 Bad luck, but let's say who knows what it is good for. 🤔
@@NomadSweden Thank you. I'm looking forward to the video even though i didn't expect anything else. 👍 But it makes me a little bit disappointed not to have the doubtful sensation of being the probably oldest guy with the most uncommon bike on the scene 😉
Hahaha, I was hoping that Mattias came in there and powder your nose and a little fika coffee 🤣 Impressive that you managed to fit that in the 40. Djizes but not much room left to anything else. But impressive none the less. Great video tjommi. You will have a great time with our Latvian friends.
Yes he is never around when you need him! I can go bigger with the Stinger 22. Perhaps a good idea to have space for some Latvian home brew? Cheers tjommi
Good job. Now put your skirt back on and finish the maid duties. All play and no work gets the dust stirred up at home. Hey good job on the packing. The tire irons, you can place them in foam water pipe insulation to limit poking a hole in a bag over time. Although the ends are round they will still wear the bag material. It's super lightweight. The goggles, will the lens get scratched? The eastbound compressor, work great? Haven't seen one of those. All good. Safe travels.
I'm a do it all maid... sorry "man". I usually have the levers under the seat (so they can poke holes in things more vital). The google compartment in the backpack is padded and soft. A hamster would love it. The compressor does the job but no indicator of pressure. There are battery compressors that work really nice but at least this runs on gasoline.
Hello Robert! Very informative video and great packing organisation and skills. Question: with the R40 + 22l stinger + Aux pots would you do a 10 - day trip that may include a few days camping? Obviously with clothes you can wash every 3-4 days. Or is it too small and the R80 will be better? THANKS a million! Ride Safe!!
Indeed it works for a long trip, but you have to get ultra light gear. Check this great page from a world traveler with R40. rtwpaul.com/2024/05/23/the-updated-packlist-mototrek-video/
If you have a freezer nearby, just empty the bladder and store it in there until next time. I don't have a freezer in the garage so I hang it up to dry after washing it making sure there is air in the bladder so it can dry properly.
Almost like you... but for me a chair it's a must! Also I pack a lot of cameras... how do you do? And please, everyone put an tourniquet in your bag and in you jacket. Tourniquet should be mandatory!
Hi. Can I PM you in any way? I am a adventure rider on a World Raid and if you ever consider Morocco, Mauritania and or Senegal I think I can help. (No comercial interest, pure hygge😃)

Bike choice is not easy :) Adventure trips is number one for me but sometimes an event is krydda on the mos.
@@NomadSweden No it aint for sure. Cant decide to go the ADV route or the Spyder route.
Its always good with a little krydda on the mos for sure.
Good day
Every day

Haha thanks for the laugh. True about the camping size for the R40

I normally have the tools under my saddle which leaves room for food in 4L bag plus the backpack. But yes it is tight.

Yes 60 would be a sweet spot. That's why I use the 40 now so 60 will feel like luxury :) Cheers tjommi

Kul att katten fick vara med 😂
See you in Latvia Robert. I'll try to fit everything into 60 liters Kriega set:)
60 liters would be the sweet spot. A little tight with 40 :)

Hey mate - love the channel. What’s your advice to clean/keep MM hydration pack bacteria free? Any tips?
If you have a freezer nearby, just empty the bladder and store it in there until next time. I don't have a freezer in the garage so I hang it up to dry after washing it making sure there is air in the bladder so it can dry properly.

I thought, you go to Latvia, not to Ukraine(?). Or is this a rough event where a weapon is quickly drawn in an alcoholic delirium? 🤭
Well it's small and packs easily. I hear they have been used in accidents when things really got bad.
Do come to India to ride in the Himalayas sir 🥳
Would be fantastic!
1:12 Kitty !!!!
The mosko 40's fit better on the AJP or is the mighty pack mule T7 still in service?😉
Fits both bikes just as good. I only have the T7 now. The PR7 was a loaner
Have you got a link for that clothes bag? Just what I needed on my last trip..
Google the name and you should find it easily 👍🏻
@@NomadSweden found it thx. Which size is yours that fits perfectly in the 8L Mosko tail bag?
@@660adv medium i think. Well not perfect but it could be pushed in 😊
What do you carry in the lyndons organiser tool bag ?

what happend to the little Garfield kitten?!?
Did you pack it in the water bladder to keep it dry? 😬
😊🙀
You don’t take tubes - do you use patches instead?
I bring one 21" tube under the saddle. But I used mine recently so I have to get a new one. But I bring patches too since they are so small
Awesome thanks.
maybe i've missed it, but how about rain gear ??
I only showed luggage and no riding gear. I have waterproof riding gear but you could also pack rain gear separately.
Will u ever go back to gs1200?
Not as long as I like offroad more than comfort. But I may be different when I get older 😊
I wouldn't pack my toiletries down at the bottom of a bag. Ask me how I know.
Haha true 😊 i will pack better when i leave
Show is the loading on the bike
01:11Are you packing your cat as well arent you
Some use sheep skin, I use cats. Supposed to relieve back pain according to folk lore.
