Not to my taste as they are sooooo huge, but a very well explained review. I've recently installed pannier racks on my 1290 to go with Kriega 32ltr soft pannier bags. But I will only use these when I have the misses on the back. Otherwise I like to travel as light as possible! Looking forward to Iceland videos!
Thank you very much - they are definetly very big that is exactly what I needed on this trip. Quite the experience to ride with so much stuff but it worked out quite well 😉I can also see panniers beeing useful😂 especially when riding 2-up. It is good to have options when it comes to luggage and I am hapyy to have a max cargo setup now at my disposal. The Iceland video will likely have to wait a bit - I have so much footage that I need to find the time to go through all of it but I have some beautiful shots
Hey Oliver! "I don't need anything more, my bike is fully prepared", is what I'm telling myself before watching this. I really hope you don't convince me otherwise :D
@@MotoVibes yeah, camping gear, my "Achilles tendon". Bulky but necessary. I almost threw away my rollbag filled with cloths while going through Georgia towards central Asia in June. I thought to myself, I'll just buy a new t-shirt and underwear at each country I pass!!! 😁 Any chance you'll make a video review on those Dunlop Trailmax Raid tyres? I'm mostly concerned of their longevity on a big heavy bike. Take care man.
@@MotoVibes you are most welcome Oliver and, yes, I am doing great 👍 Will you be doing a review of your gear after the Iceland tour? What worked and what didn't?
@@skulijakobsson5116 that is good to know 😉 yes. I will do a review of the gear after I used it in Iceland- I actually shot the video footage already 😉

@@SsiolisP 😂😂😂 that is what I always thought when I saw these heavily loaded bikes but now that I was camping I get it 😉
