I want to say thank you for this video my innovation mod on rear fire wall had a coroded connector and a prong broke off in the mod and it was the power prong but because of your video I was able to get my truck running so thank you so much again.
Its often not “worth it” to find the actual problem and often you create more problems shifting the harness around. Im sure there is a green sknot somewhere in that harness. Also most customers would baulk at the 3 hours spent tearing the interior apart and putting back together on top of the diag time and actual repair. Im sure other issues will arise in the future and someone else will pay for a new harness
I've worked on some cars that seemed like they were haunted, sometimes it's better to do a in depth diagnostic right off the bat, it can save you lots of headaches
I've got a 2015 Ram 1500 Sport I bought brand new in 2015. It's been a great truck! But, now I'm having some issues with it. This truck has a push start. Both keys has brand new batteries and the truck has a brand new battery. Sometimes when I go to the truck to get in it, my truck won't unlock. I use the pop out key to get in the truck and it won't start. The cluster panel is on and I'm not getting any messages saying "key not found" I took it to RAM and they said nothings wrong with it. But, it's happing two - three times a month. What do you suggest? 168,000 miles
Don't forget that there is probably a ignition disable OBDII connector hooked up from the dealer that can disable your ignition if you don't pay your monthly payment. Good luck paying a minimum of 2500 for this tool.

98 Dodge Ram 5.2 I have to jump the car and sometimes it drops rpm and dies. Battery was replaced. On my jumper without the Turning the jump starter on it reads 7.5. Once I turn ignition it jumps to 12.7. I also noticed that the fuel relay makes a buzzing sound. My interior lights are dim until I hook up the jump starter. What is going on😰
Ram has been selling these trucks since at least 2009 with leaking front ant back glass from the factory. The practice should be considered criminal intent. I bet all the water intrusion destroyed the wires.

So where exactly did we loose the 12 volts in the harness????? And what caused the problem? Where is the open located?
His time is more valuable and adding a new wire is faster than chasing an open.

Did you repair red wire Batt + voltage or L line White/green

You have to get the ATS eScan elite, you won't be able to troubleshoot a problem like this otherwise.
How do you see L line data with a Ohm meter. Or can data. My meter seems way to slow to pick this stuff up.
