IMO, one of the best Multifx units ever. I use a G3 in a pro live tribute band direct to PA via its balanced XLR output which most mfx dont have.
Ive tried all the brands and most models of multifx and nothing touches Zoom for tonal quality. I know most bedroom guutarists will disagree but its on the stage that matters. Thats where these units show what they do best.
Yes! I agree. Just like the silver G5, the G3 is still an excellent piece of equipment. In my opinion, Zoom made a mistake by removing the balanced outputs and USB interface function from the G3n. I find the preamps and cabinets better in the G3n than in the G3, so if there were balanced XLR outputs, it worked as an audio interface, and had send/return connections, the G3n would be unbeatable for many years. I've always liked and used Zoom products, from multiFX to recorders like the H1, but it seems to me that they don't consult users before producing their new products. I mean, the G3n could have been an evolution of the G3 with more realistic preamps and cabs and all the great features of the G3, including the ability to change the order of effects in the chain. The G3n would be unbeatable.
I absolutely agree. Good results I achieve with mixing amps and cabinets. e.g I like the the Revo cabinet for clean sounds

Saudações! Duas questões: 1 é possível salvar pedais da MS50G (Rotary por exemplo) para esse multiefeitos, substituindo algum dos pedais nativos dele? 2 ele pode ser operado como três efeitos independentes não é? Da pra fazer isso simultaneamente ao uso dos presets "sobe e desce" ou é um ou outro?

Hola mi amigo. Gracias por el contacto. Si usaras solo las modulaciones, no las cambiaría. Es mi opinión personal. Sin embargo, en mi caso, como mi prioridad son las simulaciones de preamp y cabinet, prefiero el G3n/G3xn porque suenan más realistas. De todos modos, realmente extraño características que teníamos en el G3/G3x como la salida XLR balanceada, poder cambiar la dirección de la cadena de efectos y hacerla idéntica a la dirección que usamos en una pedalera con pedales analógicos y principalmente la posibilidad de ser utilizado como interfaz de audio. Siento que Zoom pecó en este sentido. Se suponía que el G3n/G3xn sería una evolución del G3/G3x en todos los aspectos. El usuario no debe sentir que le faltan funciones que tenía en un modelo anterior. Deberían haber mantenido lo que ya era bueno y mejorar lo que se podía mejorar, como hicieron con los preamps y las simulaciones cajas. Un abrazo amigo. Gracias.

As far as I know, this unit is not possible. Maybe a Roland Gk55.
