Zoom G3 v2 Ambient, Octaves, lush pads Syrupy!

SINCE THE V2 UPDATE I HAVE BEEN COMPLETELY FLOORED WITH THIS UNIT! The tone and tracking seems to have improved a bit. Here I show some very thick, sticky tones utilizing all 3 effects slots now available, also I demonstrate the pitch delay taking the place of how I would use an EHX Pog/Hog for ambient tones. I do chords almost the entire time, and those pesky minor chords that are difficult for any Octave generating device!

The Zoom G3 accepts a discrete external pedal, sold separately. If you go to the Samson Tech website and go to the G3 page, click on the Part & Accessories tab

So quick question can you have the g3 do a simple Octave lower on the lowest note similar to the Octave Boss OC2-pedal? if so how does it sound?

Yes CORRECT. The purpose of the vid was to show with v2 you get 6 blocks of effects! So you could double up on some, even triple up and get HUGE tones!!!!

Sounds great.. i plan to get this (used-so cheap these days) as modulation only, then a separate tube overdrive pedal- is that a good mix? I mean analog+digital, will it be hissy/noisy?
