@@jessicacarver6022 P0228 is most likely a dirty throttle body. Have the throttle body cleaned. Your video was helpful explaining where the HPFP is located and removing it, but doesn’t specify on how to replace it. My question is, do I have to rotate the engine or mess with the camshaft lobe when replacing the HPFP? Thank you Are you still in GR? What would you charge to change this on a 2012 GMC Terrain 2.4?
Well what they mean by the camshaft low being in the proper position is that when you go to put the fuel pump on if it’s actuating the fuel pump then it will be difficult to get the screws in and you would only need to turn the motor a little bit to be able to make it easier but it is possible regardless where the camshaft is located at. That’s why I did not mention it, I would guess to replace that probably wouldn’t be any more than 100 or $150 plus the price of parts unless you have your own

Well personally my channel is about empowering people. So that’s one reason , Second these are repair videos and when you have to repair your vehicle it’s not always fun. So sometimes I like to add a little bit of a different flavor to my videos. Third most videos make about 2/10 of a cent per view and you need to gather retention from viewers so I add the fun facts down at the bottom for retention. So hopefully the video can make 4/10 of a cent. The hopes are that people have to watch the video twice and they learn something that may help them out in a social situation There are over 35 million TH-cam channels and you wanna make your channel different than other peoples channels some people like it some people don’t but that is some of the reasons why I do it

Most of the time the tips of them break off inside the oil pan when you try to remove them you can certainly move it out of the way if it’s possible
My 2014 GMC Terrain 2.4 no flex fuel has two fuel pumps located on the tank do you know why? My mechanic is replacing my fuel pump after replacing fuel pressure sensor cam shaft sensor omg tons of money and my car still will not start, he says there’s no gas getting to the engine (he called it something else) but which fuel pump do I replace is there’s two on my tank (he pulled it off from under the car towards the rear) pls help
HELP? (2012 Equinox) My car stalls on me when I start it up. If I dont let it idle it and go to take off it Boggs down and tries to die. I've replaced everything listed by myself. It's been 5 months and I'm still trying to get down to it. It has 110000 miles and all started at around 100k. Also it all started when I got a code P0420 which is why I replaced catalytic converter and o2 sensors. But I still have the code and still have problems. Other than that code nothing else shows up on my scan tool.
•Parts replaced•
MAF Sensor
Exaust Manifold (it was cracked)
O2 Sensors (upstream was blown)
Catalytic Converter (looked fine replaced it anyways with a rock auto one)
Intake manifold (looked okay besides the orfic may have been clogged)
Both Intake and exaust Actuators
Throttle Body
Purge Valve
That orifice being plugged on your intake that I show you in this video could be part of your problem.
It’s also very possible that your timing chain guide is broken and needs to be replaced as well so you would have to do the whole timing chain I should have video up of me doing a timing chain and one of these next week it’s a pretty simple process for the most part or for at least On these particular vehicles there not that hard
@@sharpcarco yea I doubt it's the orifice because put a whole new intake on. I do have that white creamy substance. But there is air coming from the PCV now that I replaced the old intake.
Do you possibly have a blown head gasket?
@@sharpcarco No. Not blown. Oil is fine looking
@@sharpcarco Will be watching for 2.4L ecotec timing chain swap

🤷🏻♂️ Who would’ve knew lol
My clutch aint working on air
At 3:51 when we were pulling out the connector, one of the pins inside broke off and we are unable to find it. Can you tell me what affect this will have on the car?
And yet you did not identify the PCV valves and show locations.
Oh I certainly did. You might’ve been skipping through it I’m not sure I probably didn’t spend a lot of time on it because it wasn’t necessary it’s a tiny hole
I have gmc terrains are the worst most expensive service repair for a piece of crap I’m trading mine this summer
I'm an owner not a proud owner
Yeah I’m pretty sure I was being sarcastic
I would love to finish your video as I'm sure it has the knowledge and learning I need but I can't handle the volume of your voice going from quiet to loud to quiet to loud... c'mon guy...
Sorry I don’t have a ton of money ........ just a bunch of stuff rolling around in my head . These videos pay about 2/10 of a cent per view good equipment to make cost thousands. Maybe someday I will sorry

Get to the point
Sometimes I just have a lot to say. Hopefully you still got some useful information from the video!
Wow the useless facts at the bottom are soo distracting. Why would you do that? Do you want people to not pay attention to your videos?
Well personally my channel is about empowering people. So that’s one reason ,
Second these are repair videos and when you have to repair your vehicle it’s not always fun. So sometimes I like to add a little bit of a different flavor to my videos.
Third most videos make about 2/10 of a cent per view and you need to gather retention from viewers so I add the fun facts down at the bottom for retention. So hopefully the video can make 4/10 of a cent.
The hopes are that people have to watch the video twice and they learn something that may help them out in a social situation
There are over 35 million TH-cam channels and you wanna make your channel different than other peoples channels some people like it some people don’t but that is some of the reasons why I do it
