Out of curiosity how many viewers are more aware when they drive after watching these videos??? How many of you have installed dash cams because of watching these videos??? I admit I am 100% more aware and have a dash cam now.... be safe out there tragedies are unexpected unfortunately they bring us all to be aware of casual drives or trips everyday.. thank God for rescue reams ems troopers police sheriff and citizens that help save lives!!!!
If you live in my area absolutely none . I’ll be doing 60 in 45 just to keep them off my bumper and they will still pass on a turn with a double yellow line , these younger people just DGAF .
Absolutely ... I have went as far as rolling my windows down in day or night at intersections....traffic lights or stop signs to be able to see all directions as well as listening for moving on coming traffic in all directions
My anniversary of what should have been my death is April 5. My sister's birthday. Two cars hir me. A Camaro ran a stop sign and caused a monte carlo to hit me head on. The Camaro hit me drivers side. I was in a Chevrolet Chevette. I celebrate every April 5.

With the increasing number of vehicles on the road, and the increasing number of people who seem to think their vehicle is a tank and they are immortal, the chances are ever increasing that it will happen to you at some time. Driving is about the only thing that a lot of people do on a regular basis that has a high chance of ending fatally, so pay attention when driving. I’ve avoided a few head on and various other wrecks in my life time. The old days before iPhones the driver would look at the passenger, smoke, drink etc. when I drive I’m white knuckled on the steering wheel. They other day I only had one hand on the wheel. I had to swerve. Difficult. No control when your dodging people. Stay safe everyone.

Hubby used to tell me that there was absolutely no way to tell just how bad the car crashes were just by observing the scene as many times he said he would roll up on scenes where the cars would be totally unrecognizable as well as a lot of the things that got caught in the crossfire so to speak and he just knew there was going to be fatalities, only to find out not only did nobody die, but that there were a lot of the time only minor injuries at best! He said he worked scenes many times that were nothing more than what appeared to be " fender benders" and have fatalities and or severe injuries. I Geuss there's no absolutes in life outside of death and taxes!! Ugh. lol

Hehehehehe Yeah it really is tough when it involves children, especially if a child is injured or killed by their parent or someone close to them. My husband always said that it was the hardest thing to handle as a police officer. I wanted to be a crime scene investigator so bad myself, because my husband was in the ID dept when he retired and girl I loved it so much that I went to school online to get my associate degree in criminal justice. It was so interesting, especially the investigation class....so fascinating! Unfortunately I found out I had a rare autoimmune disease and it became hard to continue the course cuz I was still raising my daughter and trying to keep working while I'm trying to get a handle on my disease.....talk about major overload! Anyway I still hate that I couldn't finish cuz it was so interesting to say the least! I geuss I just had to live vicariously thru my hubby and the cases he worked! Sounds like you would make an excellent investigator given your passion for it for sure! It's definitely not for everybody as we both know. Without being too graphic here you know our husband's have seen a lot of very bad things if you know what I'm saying? I have seen a lot of it myself and I can handle seeing crime scenes and autopsy's, the thing that is hard for me is the smells! Omg I have a dog's nose I swear and I can get pretty sensitive when it comes to the smells!!! Hubby said in the beginning he used to use Vicks Salve. He said if you got enough of it under your nose it did help with the odors, but he said that you get used to it over time....I'm not so sure about that myself with my doggie nose!! lol Decomp ain't nothing nice you hear me? EWWWWWWW! My hubby was plain clothes in the ID dept. when he retired and sometimes I would make him change his clothes at the door and head strait to the laundry room with his smelly clothes. I mean that's pretty foul and it's a smell that could permeate all thru your house if it's bad enough. Ain't getting the glade can cuz there's nothing worse than a floral scent on top of decomp. Super sickening. I swear the wives and girlfriends of first responder's have their own war stories that's for sure. We know how hard their career's were for them and it was also hard for us We had to deal with the dinners that went cold, the call outs in the middle of the night and that's not even half of the issues when you marry a cop! It's never a 9 to 5 job is it? Trying to make plans for anything was so hard for me cuz that's just my nature to plan ahead for everything and I so remember that taking the longest to get used to for myself. Just as our husband's made the commitment to be a cop we also had to be committed to be a cop's wife. We adapted and made our fare share of sacrifices didn't we? Omg I think I got a little carried away with my reply to say the least, I geuss meeting someone who knows not only the good about our husbands careers, but also knows the not so good things too! In a case like this, the bodies are usually removed in pieces. They try to be as respectful as possible but, sometimes there’s nothing else you can do.

If you're referring to the fluid leaking out of the semi, what good would it do to collect it in a bucket? It's hazardous material and must be absorbed which is why they're laying down bags of absorbent material and THEN scraping it into a barrel. These guys do this sort of clean-up for a living, but you think they've never heard of a bucket? lol

I used to enjoy driving until around the mid '00's when phones became popular.
Though it does help in other situations, I don't think a seatbelt wouldn't matter none in this situation. Unfortunately.
in my 45 years 6 million miles as over the road tractor trailer driver don't know how many times I saw this. one would be too many. folks stay focused

In my son's case the seatbelt made no difference in his safety and survival. He was killed instantly.

If you're referring to the fluid leaking out of the semi, what good would it do to collect it in a bucket? It's hazardous material and must be absorbed which is why they're laying down bags of absorbent material and THEN scraping it into a barrel.
