Hello! Thank you so much! The trim on the walls is called Pompeii 11 3/4"H x 11 3/4"W x 1 1/8"D Panel Moulding Corner and Pompeii 2.5-in x 8-ft Primed Polyurethane Wall Panel Moulding. They are by a brand called Ekena Millwork. I bought them online from Wayfair and Lowe's!

Never start your power saw up against the material! Start it about 1/2 inch back, let it start rotating, and then move it forward gently. Otherwise it kicks back and jacks up the edges of the material ☺️
Thank you! That is a super helpful instruction! The power saw was definitely overkill for this material, but I will follow your advice for future projects 😊
@Inky Soupy you never cut anything holding the waste piece. You were holding the wrong end.
@@Tony-InLosAngeles Clamping down would also have helped
@@ahhh4117 sometimes, it would have; but holding the material properly will avoid injury and make the job easier.

The gilding wax is a nice compromise between the mono chromatic color and the gold.
I love that she did a balance between Using the same color as the wall and having a hint Of gold

Yes! I love what gilding wax does so much. It's hard not to gild everything!

Yes! If you use small finishing nails (or brad nails) they leave very tiny holes that are easy to fill later. I think I've seen people use strong double sided tape too. Please show me if you end up doing it! 😀
That looks great. Perhaps consider priming and painting the outlets the same wall color so that they disappear and the focus is on the trim. Thanks for sharing.

You can get wooden covers for your outlets in big box stores (I think that's what they are called) which you can paint the colour of the wall, so they blend in more!

I actually really love what you did at first when you did all green I was like oh I don’t like that I feel like she should go gold but then when you brought out the gilding wax and he started putting it on and I started seeing how it was turning out I was like OK I love this because it’s not like in your face gold it makes it look older and more original and more antique and it just looks freaking phenomenal I mean you already had a really good color to start with green and then the guild it just flows so good together
