It's a bit annoying to me that you're calling all of these quite functional, plentiful and well made(?) things junk. Maybe random old stuff would be a more accurate way of describing it.
Doesn't give the impression that you've gone dumpster diving as much as just going through leftover things in your new big house.
Love the video though, as always, thank you for brightening my evening!
Can you please tell me the name of the song used at 16:13?
WOW 1st time watching you!! Love everything! You are so talented and funny!! You said Ganrley right... (Nar' - Lee) 😅 well here in Southeastern NC USA, that is how we say it! Those frames were Ganrley! Lol looking forward to watching more of your videos!! My Daughter that's almost 16 will LOVE your projects!! ❤❤❤
Blessings & Friendship,
Erica
PS: I don't decorate with to many creepy items, I'm more the light academia but love touches of the dark academia like the Cloche & Frames! I love crafting & DIY'ing but I would definitely buy them if I saw them somewhere... and that says a lot bc I'm a cheap O too!! LOL 😂
between you and Rachel Maksy, it's going to be a miracle if I make it through 2023 without making a lamp!
Yes😅😂👍🏼
Between Rachel, Hazariel and Christine McConnell the trinity of lampshade making I feel I'm been summoned to make a few...and I don't even have places for them. But I guess the universe is telling me I have to!
@@alwaysjiji7198 I've never heard of Christine McConnell, but you mentioned them in the same breath as Rachel and Hazariel, so now I have to check them out
@@ReignBeauofTerror Do it, but it's a hole new level. Rachel and Hanzaiel are beautiful gobling chaos Craft. Christine is Chef kiss masterclass art but wonderful to watch and as inspiration (That woman designed her own fucking wallpaper)
@@bellacat4160 you are NOT joking! I watched one of her videos and I feel like an uneducated peasant
I’m an entomologist that studies bumble bees and let me tell you, the noise I made when you brought out that brooch you made was almost inhuman. 😂 Absolutely beautiful job with everything, I’m always in awe of your talent!
Your talents show!! Your accent and personality are adorable.
I am always amazed by you pulling out a bunch of random things and then making very cool stuff with that. Very cool!
The infinite supply of garage junk
Love it all, but that beaded bumblebee is just incredible 😍 Any chance for a tutorial on it? 😉
Unfortunately no, I made it a while ago. But it was a fun one so maybe another one could be made!
@@HazarielCostumes maybe you could make a smaller one for your cloche??
TheClosetHistorian
@@patriciaherzig1945 thank you 😄👍🏼
I would love a tutorial on the bee it’s so gorgeous 🥺
OmG I am a 74 year old great grandma. Gotta say I absolutely love love your video. You are so talented. Telling my friends and I will be watching more of you.😊
You’re a genius. A bonafide genius. That’s all there is to it.
Haaaaan😊
okay, but you looking into the camera while you tore out that book page was BEAUTIFUL
‘Twas vicious.
It was equally heart-wrenching and absolutely satisfying to watch you rip those pages.🎉😂
!!!
It reminds me a game party. She tortured me by destroying cards in a legacy game. She loved that, I confirm. Close to sadism. :P
I hate when books get pages ripped off.
More than being cheap, I think doing this sort of thing makes the stuff have more to it. It's one thing if you buy from an artisan, but if you're just going to buy something mass produced anyway, probably the "cheap homemade" thing has more heart!!
The black lampshade made me think about the incredible one Christine McConnell did a month ago. Seems like a great DIY lamp year!
I absolutely love just how many random things you clip the microphone to. I never notice till a few minutes in while I'm listening to you, then I'm like, "Wait, what's she holding? Oh! Lol" Every single video, lol. 😄
That garage is slay! Better than secondhand shop!! So much stuff for fun crazy crafts!
Love how this turned out!
I thought i was going to have to look away for the book destruction, but not everything should be treated as if it's precious.
those hardcover could make great file folders or notebooks! it would look super aesthetic on shelves but also useful
I was thinking that if you carve out a square into 3 of them, stacked and glued together, you would have a sweet , secret book safe.
I think the name in French is quite poetic tout 'Tout l'univers'.. The whole universe
Oooo - my favorite are the art. I love the way you use the thread as vines and the gold and blue on black. Also, yes to moss in the cloche. Love all these projects!
See this is why I never wanna throw stuff away, everything has repurpose potential! BRB giving my living room a whimsigoth dark academia makeover.
This was such chaotic crafty gremlin energy, and I love that 😌
These projects were so much fun to watch! I like that you allowed the previous owner to leave so much unwanted stuff; it gives you so much FREE material to work with! Eventually, you'll work your way through it and either have a grand bonfire or have to hire someone to empty your garage, but until then...!
Exactly! Thank you! 💖
I love that this "dark academia" has some rococo vibes 😊
I often wonder if your combination of skills, tools, and materials while looking so young can be attributed to some type of alchemy or sorcery. Always impressed by what you create using available resources!
That is so sweet thank you 💖
I love that bee broach. The dragonfly broach was pretty too but I agree it wasn't really working in the cloche.
I was thinking she could use some colored paper where the gems were......chop/rip paper, put in a water glue mix, scoop paper into the space. Let dry. (There are lots of cast paper videos on YT. )
that lampshade is surprisngly functional! looks very dark academia, but also lets so much light through
I love the picture frame with the big bee. The contrast is so good in this one.
Thanks for another wonderfull video. I like your up beat video style so much and it shows how much fun you had with these projects 😊
Editing can make a break a video. I am glad you like it, cause it takes DAYS!
@@HazarielCostumes I can well believe that it takes you days to edit your raw footage into a polished video.
The little while porcelain birb at 1:42 is precious. I love them.
Oh the beaded bee is so beautiful!
THE THREADS IDEA!!!!!!! I am sooooooooooo using that for some paintings that just popped into my head...thanks to you. 💖
you went from chopping up plaster hands to a really cool home decor set up! you're stuff is always so cool
I shall now be adding dark academia to my list of vibes for when I get my own place! 😅
That lampshade looks like something you’d find at the Addams family house… I LOVE IT
It's made of Thing's cousins after they betrayed the family and went mainstream. 😂
Everything turned out really pretty, but the lamp is my favourite! So cool and unique!
That lamp was so great! It reminds me of Christine McConnell's work, all dark and old fashioned and cool.
That lamp is the most bizarre thing I’ve seen in a while, you are now my favorite. 👏
The paintings look so good in the end 😱💖 kinda jealous of your trift shop garage 😅 although I can image it being overwhelming as well. The books are better reused for art at this point than read regarding the questionable content. Hope we see more cool collage style projects with them.
That lamp is the envy of Morticia, Elvira, and Lily Munster. To die for!
I just acquired an antique lamp that I'm recovering in too many green, beetly things 😁😁😁
I love this channel!! I follow several other channels who make random things but they never care about taking time, or using what's already available, or the quality/longevity of the thing they're making. . . so I end up frustrated instead of inspired. Thank you Hazariel Costumes for being here for me. 💚💚💚
I have no words...you managed to make such blah materials look absolutely incredible! I'm going to have to watch this again!
Your process is so chaotic and you worked so confidently and trusted the process. As someone who is held back by fear of failure, I wanted to thank you for inspiring me. Something about the way your worked so fearlessly had a meaningful impact on me. Thank you. 😊
She stared straight into my soul as she hurt me by ripping out those pages 😨😢🥰
I like the idea of adding moss to the cloche and having it hold jewelry.
oh my gosh the trick with the fabric and wood glue is so smart!!!! These turned out so cool!!!
Yeeees, now I know how to decorate my lame picture frames! That technique with threads and wood glue is amazing!
Love everything ❤️
The lampshade looks stunning with light shining through and the pictures wow!
Looking at all the things in my house with an eye on how to make them whimsical creepy 😳
Customize everything♥️
Me tooooo, it's infectious craftiness
Me tooooo, it's infectious craftiness
Everything you make is so beautiful and fun and inspiring -- I can't wait to use that thread trick on a project!
Thank you so much!
Merci !
Excellente fin de semaine !
À bientôt !!
🌸🌸🌸
I love all the projects but especially the insect frames, so clever, everything came out beautifully xx
The beaded bee is SO cute! I'm glad you found a home for him.
this was so GOOOD ! i love the finished projects !! the bee is my fave, hes so SPARKLY :D
Definite prickly alpaca and closet historian vibes to this one. Lovely.
The thing with these style of lamps is that you can never have enough textures and embellishments, and i love it 💙
Just a quick tip, I've seen reptile keepers make fake vines with cording, glue, and dirt. Thet texture is amazing and it looks super realistic!
The lamp & moth/butterfly frame were my favorites! 💕 I love when people breathe life into old things
All of it is stunning but my favourite is definitely that lampshade, it looks absolutely glorious!!
Everything you made is 100% my style. I especially love the lamp, it's simply beautiful. That bumblebee though! I squeaked like obsessed when you showed it! It made perfect sense to put it in one of the frames. This might be my favorite video of yours, but that's something it feels like I'm saying every time you release something new ;P Hope you have a wonderful day!
Tearing out the book pages hurt my heart, oh but the results of the reveal was worth the carnage! Everything turned out gorgeous!
Like WTF? That lampshade turned out brilliantly. I didn't see that coming. Gorgeous!!!
I love what you have created from just a seemingly random garage junk 😊 you are very talented.
That's some pretty impressive up-cycling.
They're both beautiful, but I love the red and blue card the most. The texture is incredible.
I love the framed bumblebee and the lamp in particular, but it all came out so pretty! My sole regret in watching this video is that now I cannot get the thought out of my mind that I need a fringe lamp, but made with wig hair. 😂
OOOOOOoooooo !!!!
You and Rachel Maksy are INSPIRING me and it’s been years since I’ve been so to this level-takes a mountain to move this molehill!!!! Thank you!!!!
I am now going to use the thread and wood glue trick on everything
Best garage storage I ever seen. Homemade thrift shop
I love your spirit. Because it is cheap, and it is FUN! I completely agree! LOL Cloth wrapping on the wire so pins and tack stitches can be used. The lamp has kind of a corset feel, because of the edging you used. Nice! I love the brass filigree caps on the tassels! That bee is delightful. The books are outdated, but still have some lovely pictures! Glue thread roots! I was thinking about how to make them; but you just solved that problem for me! The terrerium...moss, little pebbles and a grassy small patch with an equally small gravestone. Or cross. Those black roots growing from a "tree" a few scraggly moss branches barely survive. Add a few mounted insects as like fruit, on the tree. See, now you have ME doing it. LOL Thank you for the inspiration!
I think the lamp and the bumble arey favourite! Also tear up more old stuff!
The lamp is amazing.
That lampshade is magnificent!! The base is delightful! I couldn’t imagine where you were going with the paintings, but Wow! They turned out perfect!! So much fun watching you create as you make the house into your home!!
The lamp is super cool. I've enjoyed seeing you go between barbie pink and weirdly dark in your recent projects. Wait, are you trying to bring balance to the force by playing both sides? 😲😛
Good point. Probably yes.
Love a woman who's good with her hands.
Pro Crafter tip: instead of using gold paint. Use it gilding wax. It will be even better and can be used on lots of things. The perfect product for any shiny art Lover! 🎉
“Or any hairy thing” lololol!! I haven’t seen you do a home décor project before! Loving it!!
I love watching creatives do their thing. So much is just about trusting the process 😅
Ouaisss!!! C'est dans ta cloche! ta cloche! C'est dans ta cloche!
holy shit the end results were so gorgeous, 10/10 content
I'm ashamed to admit i was super worried about the artwork, but they ended uo being my favourite, and i can't believe how amazing they look. I also want to make a bee now😬
To see a true artist at work, with all her fury and frill... That, in and of itself was so enjoyable, and then came the dose full of flair and dark beauty, and a touch of the fantastical... Masterfully executed indeed!!!!The turquoise patina was that needed touch of EXTRA, absolutely brilliant!! The lamp base was probably my favorite, but I truly love them all so much!!
Thanks for sharing, I'm honored to be your newest subscriber!!

You sold me with Nandor and the “creepy paper” 🤣🤣 instantly hit subscribe and now I’m going binge watch your videos because I LOVE your design. I’m FULL of inspiration 😍😍
I love what you did with the lamp and pictures.
*takes notes all through the sculpting section, with a special underline for TURQUOISE*
The lamp's shape almost looks like the hands are holding a heart:) loved this video! Very inspiring!
The paintings are my favorite part! I didn't see the vision at first but you did not disappoint!
I love the expressions on your face as you were tearing pages out of the old books. ❤😂
You are incredible. The imagination and creative enthusiasm you have is wonderful. I enjoy your tutorials, they brighten my day. Love your style, and your French accent❤cat xxx
I can't imagine someone just discarding those antiques. But people here sell anything
Some really unusual stuff, love the lamp and lampshade, and your personality shouts crazy person, I loved watching you
I just love your videos! That lamp is amazing.
Brilliant!
(Except for the books)!
😆 🤣 😂
Very cool! I would def add moss to the cloche, though. I loved everything!
I usually watch Shabby Chic or French Country DIY channels, but Cozy Junk Studios (I believe) got me into the Dark and Moody style, so that's how I found you! I love your channel, your personality, your humor, and most importantly your talent❤❤❤
I just found this channel randomly and I must say, it has made my day infinitely better.
That artwork... It blew my mind. It is absolutely just something else. I dont know.what i expected but the result was something that took my breath away
By the time I've finished watching your video, I had no choice but subscribe!
Love that lamp! ❤
OMG! At 1:30 there are 2 lidded glass jars with white pink and blue accents, on the bottom right corner of those shelves, that are EXACTLY the same as ones my late grandma had and that have long since been broken and seeing those gave me so much nostalgia. she used to have one of those for sugar and one for cookies
Tellement de créativité OMG ! J'adore.
I love the all of these projects but the insect paintings and the lamp are absolutely beautiful!! Deliciously gorgeous ❤
OMG I LOVE YOUR GOTHIC Lamp shades I'm going to making for my living room.
Just call me a moth because I'm obsessed with That Lamp!!!
And the wall art 😍
omg I love your chaotic energy! And these projects turned out amazing!!! TH-cam did good recommending your channel to me lol
Where have you been all my life? I’m so glad I’ve found you. Your talent, your hilarious wit and your style are truly amazing ❤
I have two cloches I want to decorate similarly! I keep seeing old lamps being customized BEAUTIFULLY and I want to try it now!
Ooooo you know what to put in the glass instead of the butterfly, PRAYING MANTIS!!! it will look parfait!!!!
There's a TH-camr called closeted historian that teaches people how to make beaded insects when I saw your painted insect Tableau I thought that that would look interesting displayed like that
