Frank Sinatra asked another superstar Paul Anka write him a song before his retirement, so Paul Anka wrote "my way"for him for free.

Frank Sinatra sings clearly he’s no mumble singer, rapper. You hear every word clearly. My way was written back in 69 by Paul anka for Frank Sinatra it’s based off his life.

Do you know this is initially a french song titled "Comme d’habitude" and sung by the french 60s/70s mega star Claude François?
Then it was translated into english ( with better lyrics to be honest) by Paul Anka and Frankie made the famous cover.
