I've been addicted to this for the last couple of days. If anyone's interested, the dev's last game was a chill ship builder with the same style of humor and art called Sunshine Heavy Industries
YES! Thankyou so much for giving this game some time! I myself am enjoying what feels like loop 517, lol! A lot more to come from this game, lots of stuff left to unlock, but I don't want to do any spoilers. I really hope a series can be made from it. Also very happy you enjoyed the strategy and style, I was certain you would :)
I really enjoy just watching how you experiment and explore a new game, especially when it's evident you're having an awesome time!!! It did seem like that with this one for sure. 😁 I can hear all people in charge of finding voice actors noting down you're available for it. 🤣 Also, love the whole vibe of the robo-cat character, really funny! "You don't want to know" just broke me 🤣
Great game, great video! FYI: Difficulty is chosen before a run. I believe you are put on the first difficulty - Normal - on the first run. But on future runs you can chose from four difficulties. However, it seems like playing on anything higher than Hard is just for sport, since there are no unlocks specific to the other difficulties (as far as I can tell).
I loved this studio's previous game Sunshine Heavy Industries, an truly incredible ship designing puzzle game. Excited to see their take on a roguelike.
Finally watching this after playing the absolute crap out of this game the last two weeks, didn’t want to get spoiled on anything. Gotta say, almost spit my coffee out when you said “it’s my first videogame!”
I was playing the Lonestar Demo and was thinking of you. That game is also a lane based space combat game like this, a bit different "deck building" mechanic though.

Wow, this seems very good. And super cute, too.
It feels amazing to see you enjoy this Chris, thanks for trying it out, looking forward to more! ✨🔥🎉🚀
Love the emojis, really sum the game up! 🤣 Also, totally agree, Odd's enjoyment feels contagious to me, haha.
LOVE your rouguelike play through! Best series imo
Definitely cool. On my Wishlist!!
Bought this a few hours ago, actual indie goty material
LETS GO, Commander!

This is supercool! It does give FTL vibes with the sound and aesthetics AND has slay the spire elements like you said! I love it!
I LOLed at the "Big Crystal" dialogue. Your delivery was also good.
Feels a bit like FTL meets Slay the Spire. Neat.
YES!

Hell ya, so simple yet so elegant! It’s a bit like that forest board game with the crazy guy and puzzle game you played a while back!
Love this! More please!! I'm getting a big FTL: Faster the Light vibe honestly. I'm going to have to get this game I think...

Dive into the deep end Odd
Started watching... Decided to buy it... Was able to get to the second zone by the end of the video.
This is awesome! And if you are digging it, keep going!
Most common words spoken by me out loud to no one when watching an Odd video: "Then maybe you should click the buttons."
Looks cool
It's a cool game. Now I want to buy it after watching you play
Definitely going to check this game out. Thank you for showing this off!

Love it, cant wait to see a walkthrough!
i immediately had to grab this. Great find, gang.
Personally I wish you hadn’t played this. This is entirely because I have bought it and I’m now addicted. Thank you VERY much. 😝
Glad I could help!
Waiting for more of this
Do a barrel roll!
When you looked at your records and your cards, both showed 14, so you have to own the card at least at some point to count towards the 207
Now play shattered pixel dungeon!
Love to see you play this!
Looks like this is your jam so have at it!
Space kobolds yaaaaaaaay

Yeah, I'm way into this one. Have you played griftlands?
Cool mechanics.
How in the nine hells are you able to finish THREE runs in a row? I got this game today and I managed to finish ONE out of ten. 🤬
Can’t decide on getting this or Risk of Rain Returns
Anyone played this and the Lonestar demo? How do they compare?
So LoneStar with cards
Aww yeah, furries ftw.
