What are your go-to travel essentials? 🤍
Picking the right suitcase.
My AirPod Pro’s, a good book, & only packing a carry-on suitcase with a backpack for my personal item. And I try to not have my luggage packed super full so if I wanna bring home souvenirs I have the space.
Definitely my Bose quiet comfort headset, wearing leggings on the plane with good side pockets I can slip my phone into when I am listening to an audiobook, a good hoodie can function as a blanket, eye mask, and pillow XD, definitely a back up battery for the phone, and packing clothes that all match eachother - typically neutrals. I also always try to nab a window seat if I can get it! :)
Can you link your packing list?
I always have the opposite problem: UNDER packing, running out of everything, freezing my butt off because I didn't pack enough clothes, etc. 🤣
Checking the weather before you leave and having access to laundry at some point on your trip can really help with that 😉😉😉
This would be okay if you were into shopping I suppose 🤔
I always love how you pack your suitcase. It looks so perfect. I never go on a trip, but still enjoy these videos from you 🤍
Less is more when packing. That's true. I've many times packed things that I don't use. At the end of the trip I look in my bag and see the unused items still packed nicely, like I did at home
What a timely video! I have not been travelling for years and will be finally doing so soon. Time to get packing!
I love your videos, there just so peaceful and calm and informative. Hope everything is going well for you and baby!
another great and helpful video, ashlynne ❤❤❤
Thank you, Ashlynne! I have now started to make my packing list for my December trip, too. better to be early. :D
Even with open sandals, I pack socks and underwear under the straps so they don't get too bent.
Traveled for two 4-5 day weddings with a personal item. I used a Hynes Eagle backpack, highly recommend
Thank you for the very helpful tips
Good morning Ashlynne happy Tuesday and I just wanted to say that your vlogs is amazing and you are amazing Supporter and I'm proud of you
I love my IT cases. They’re so light. And they hold so much. I also have the smaller IT hold-all. Well had to buy a second one as my little cat claimed the other one. It’s her favourite bed 🤣 also we always take photo copies of our passports and put them in each case. Dunno why. Just feel better doing that
I use the master packing list also but once home i evaluate everything i packed and edit that list with what worked and what didnt. Helps for review for next trip.
Going to Tahoe in the snow in two weeks, my first time being in such cold weather and probably will see snow for the first time soooo I kinda need tips for packing in general and will definitely ned to search up what to buy lol
very nice video thanks for sharing stay blessed from Saudi Arabia 🇸🇦
I love the idea of packing carry-on only, but I think airlines are starting to catch on. I recently flew Scandinavian Airlines and they had a weight and size limit for carry-ons that was too big for a roller bag. Instead we had to bring our larger suitcase so that we only had to pay for one checked bag instead of two. I wonder if this trend will continue for the bigger airlines too or if they'll start charging for carry-on suitcases.
When you wear different necklaces I heard a great tip to store them in straws to make them less tangled
Très belle vidéo ashlynne 😊😊
Noticed this sweater in your last vid - I’m obsessed lol. Also, the Target Made by Design carry on has been a fam favorite, I have it in blue (great gift)!!
I thrifted it recently and I’m obsessed as well!! 😍 And yes!! It’s a great suitcase!
As a girl who’s favorite colors are red, orange, yellow, and blue, these clothing tips really help me.
Happy almost Halloween, Ashynne!❤
Same to you Ervin!! ☺️
Where did you get the glass bottles that hills you loose leaf tea and how many oz. Are they dont know where to get loose leaf tea. Thanks for all the helpful suggestions.
Ashlynne what is the size of your carryon suitcase? It looks larger than the airline standard.. ?
Nope it is a standard airline carry-on suitcase! I’ve flown with it throughout the United States, Europe, etc. with it as a carry-on, and never had issues!
I tend to struggle with my purse: I don't use it in the airport because it's one more thing to carry. I like your idea of separate small pouches within the purse that can easily go from purse to backpack and back again! Thanks!
It honestly makes such a difference!! So glad it was helpful for you!!
I really like your philosophy and method of packing. But how do you deal with clothes after you’ve worn them, especially shirts, socks, and underwear? Do you keep them separate, perhaps in a plastic trash bag (my current method)?
So I usually like to pack an extra of those cloth produce bags that I pack my shoes in and I’ll put dirty laundry in that!
@@AshlynneEaton, thanks!
Thanks for the tips, Ashlynne.
One question, do you unpack everything once you reach your travel destination or live out of your suitcase?
Typically, it just depends on how long I’ll be in a destination! If it’s more than four or five days, I’ll usually unpack. Less than that and I find it’s just easier to live out of a suitcase 🤍
Love your videos can you tell me what is the brand of suitcase that you use
My exact suitcase is linked in the description box 🤍
I make a list of everything I need and add to it when I think of something. But right before I leave and I'm worried I'm forgetting something, I ask myself if I have my essentials such as ID and passport. Everything else is replaceable.
I enjoyed your video.. on my way to Germany.. I was wondering if you could share your packing list? I have one, but would love to compare so I could maybe whittle it down a bit.. Thank you
I'd love any advice about travelling with only one bag - I take my cat with me, and she counts as my personal item, which only allows either a suitcase or a backpack. Any tips for how to downsize to one bag?
Hi Ashlynne, I wonder if the carry on luggage that you have, is a compatible size for Europe? I'm from Austria, Europe and I'm asking because it looks a bit big to me, and knowing that even my carry on sometimes is checked in during boarding, because of size and weight. Might be an excuse of the airlines that they say the flight is fully booked, that they ask people to check in their carry on.
How was your experience when you travelled to Europe or around Europe?
Btw I love watching your content and listening to your voice calms me down..💚
Where did you get your backpack
how often have you done carry on and havr had to put it in check in?
Honestly, it’s been years since I checked a bag 😅 Now that may change with a baby on the way, but typically I fly carry-on whenever possible!
I don’t travel much but I’m going to WDW in February
My problem is I can't repeat clothes my OCD and anxiety could never, any tips?
I also have different styles so not many of my clothing would fit with one another
Thank you! I always wonder why one would put their socks or underwear in your dirty shoes! Everytime someone says to do that it throws me off.
What is the name of this Carry on and backpack?
My thing is, I pack a LOT of stuff, but I always use all of it somehow. Maybe I'm just high maintenance lol
eeeey!!
It’s finally live 🥰🎊
The timing of this video is perfect since I'm hopping on a plane to see my boyfriend in Charlotte on Friday! @@AshlynneEaton
Hi Ashlynne, I'm a complete convert to carry-on travel. It not only has the advantages you mentioned (and how much better not to have to hang around waiting for luggage!) , but I find it better not to have luggage taking up space in the small rooms we stay in. Often there is only one stand for luggage and very little space to put anything. How much total weight(carry-on + personal item) are you carrying? Recently, I have travelled on 2 two-week trips (one two 2 different countries) on an airlines where the total weight cannot exceed 7kg. They actually weighed it. Living in Australia, economy fares for carry-on allow maximum 10kg total carry-on so I carry a light backpack rather than a case with wheels which can use up 4+kg of the allowance. I really love your generic list. Would it be possible to share it with us? Thank you for a very helpful video.
You’re not an over packer.
I used to be though 😅
@@AshlynneEaton really? I didn’t know that
Why your voice crack ?...
