  • In this video, I show you how to use the Aiment Multi-Sized Button or Badge Maker that was provided to me. I learned some things about the button press along the way that I want to share with you in case you are considering buying a press or if you already have one but are not sure how to use it. Most button makers work generally the same way, so even if you do not have the Aiment button maker, check out the video.

    Im sure you probably figured this out by now but for the large press like you demonstrated you can slide the bottom part in then put the top piece in afterwards since it does have that problem of the plastic touching. I have two smaller sizes and its not an issue only with that larger size. Cool video😊

    Hiii!
    Fellow Bazaar vendor here! You can totally bring the shirts you press! They don't have to be handstitched by you to come along! I had a minor panic attack as I am a storefront pop-up experience and don't hand craft ALL of my items but from what I understand as long as you are not partaking in MLM sales or selling items that are not handcrafted but under the illusion that they are you will be ok! You hand press and create those tees. That is crafted by you!!!

      oh....about the round cutters.... I hold my left hand or a finger firmly on the middle, then go a little back and forth to make sure it cuts through the paper.If you don't it tends to slide and ugh.. but I like it.

    Hi Marilyn, I loved your video and your buttons were lovely
    I have a similar machine to this and what you need to do is hold the machine down with your left hand to stabilise it then pull the handle with your right hand, it’s so easy when you know how. I made a mistake with those horrid cutters by taking the safety foam off while I adjusted it and sliced my finger, it was my own fault but I really don’t like them, much better to get a circle punch. Best wishes from England xx

    I have this button maker. If I place my picture with the top facing the little knob and the back with the the top facing the little knob my buttons will come out crooked. I had to keep placing the back at different angles until I found the right angle where the button, once pressed is correct. It's a working progress to get the button back to line right. I had to mark the exact spot to place the back with 2 small dots.

    • @MakingwithMarilyn
      @MakingwithMarilyn  7 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      Do you mean have a printed and cut button templates from Cricut DS? You could definitely do that. I have at least 3 sizes of button press attachments, so the size will vary. If you cut your design the same size or slightly smaller than the plastic circle cover that comes with your button accessories, you should be fine.

    • @MakingwithMarilyn
      @MakingwithMarilyn  หลายเดือนก่อน

      I've used two types of button makers. Plastic ones like this and Vevor heavy metal ones. I like the fact that the heavy metal ones will last super long, but I have found that this one consistently makes better buttons. If I played around with the heavy one more, I would probably get into a rhythm. I absolutely love this button maker but I haven't used it enough to know how it would hold up with heavy business use.

      @MakingwithMarilyn  5 หลายเดือนก่อน

      On the last step, I have to push it down until I almost have something like a "click" feel. Like it goes down, but has to seat itself and I can feel a slight difference in how it feels when I push it for that very last "click" like step. I wish I could explain it better, but that's what comes to mind when I think about how that last step feels. I hope it starts working better, or else I would send it back if you are still within the send back timeframe.
