I just snagged one from Joann that was on clearance for only $15!!! I literally could not believe it was so cheap! I was terrified that something had to have been wrong with it but I brought it home and it works great! I’m still in disbelief, I can’t believe I got such a great deal 🤯

I ditto this major!!! One out of five worked but not well. It's difficult to believe following the directions exactly produces such different results. I also wonder if the parts are defective - many of the clear plastic discs don't seem to be large enough to wrap around the entire button.

I’m sending mine back. Loved the concept of multiple button sizes at an affordable price. Plus your tutorial was fabulous! This button maker is easy to use but fails 3 out of 4 buttons. It either gets caught in plate or doesn’t seal button properly or damages edges. Too much product wasted. I was so sad to have to return. Now I’m on the hunt for a higher quality better failure rate or no fail rate would be even better.

I loved your tutorial - my grandson and I watched it together. Very helpful. I had purchased this to make buttons for his upcoming birthday. That said, this product is a disappointment. The included cutter does not cut anything more than copy paper weight. It did not even make a dent or bend in the cardstock after numerous rotations and repeated punching. Of the five round sets included - we were able to make two successfully. Helpful hint - for the medium base, to cut your own paper, use a 2" punch. While I was able to get a piece of Prima cardstock I cut myself it to seal around the edge of the metal base, neither the mylar nor the pin back would clamp in. I am not sure, but I would bet it is the thickness of the cardstock. I have purchased supplies off of Amazon - perhaps they will work better with various paper weights. I would like to at least be able to use photo paper.

@@india2709ab I had the same problem. It turns out I had missed part of the instructions. There are lines in the base when setting it to B to add the backing. You have to line up the pin of the backing with these lines.

The directions are excellent and easy to follow.
On to the machine which has nothing to do with the video. There seems to be a problem with the size matching on the large button discs and the large buttons. The discs seem to be too small. I was lucky enough to get one out of five.

@scrapdiva29 I'd hoped that you'd answered her thoroughly, as my query is similar. I am currently purchasing the machine, but my main concern is the ability to find additional parts, as I intend to make many. Can offbrand button parts be used with the machine?

I'm a sewist. Would this work on fabric? I would use this for shirt/clothes buttons.

Thank you for your video, but I can't put a pin back. How to do it? Do you have any idea how to put a base of the button to leave a pin horizontally?

How can you unstick the large base and once you’ve unstuck, how do you keep it from sticking again?

I hope you still check this site out I know it's over a year or two old maybe longer but I just recently bought this and I did up 12 buttons which I'm turning into magnets but for some reason under the 12th six of them didn't come out right for some reason there's either an overlap on one side and not enough on the other side with the plastic and I don't know what I did wrong or the plastic itself going around didn't completely adhere do you have any suggestions

I love it I love we r but there are a lot of negative reviews so far and you seem to be using every ounce of strength you have to get it down. But successful button. It’s actually the other sizes that are mostly been with issues. Thanks. Congratulations 🎊

The one that has your son's picture on it what size button is it? I can only find 58mm and I'm looking for a 3-inch button.

I’ve been having issues with the small base insert getting stuck. Is there any way someone can instruct me on how to unstick it? Like the base insert is stuck ON the machine

Hi, new to your channel. I received my button press today. Seems easy enough on the surface, followed your tutorial as i unboxed :). Your large cutting size tip to rotate is supet handy. My 1st sadly didn't work, is there a limit to the thickness of paper or card do you know?

Great question?? I would suggest using 65 pound weight typically normal cardstock weight. Heavy weight might not work.. Haven't tried it with heavy weight card. Thanks for stopping by!! Erica

The instructions are clear; however, the button press does not secure the back of the pin because the paper and Mylar are too short to wrap around securely - I did use the medium circle die and Mylar that came with the press -so disappointed-does anyone have a solution?

Honestly I like both!! If you want to make different size buttons for one project I probably would grab the We R memory keepers one!!
