I have tested this pad out for 6 trips now and its brilliant . it has a great R rating meaning its a great 3+ season pad. I love its comfort and not as noisy as other similar type pads on the market
Thanks for a great review; it was helpful to know that you've done some nights on it and found it still to be comfortable and warm. Blessings, Vu
Thx buddy- glad it helped , ive tested it many times and it still ticks all my boxes..great pad
I have the exact same pad and love it ! I have the wide regular version and it is very confortable. Thansk for the review.
Yep its a belter i agree
Those Big Agnes pads looks tempting, but I always have to bring a foam with an air mat. Having trust issues I guess 😂
Trust me you wont regret getting to lay on a Big Agnes..Superb in my humble opinion
they already discontinued the Rapide for a version 2 which makes it seem like they must have been having some issues with it. I would’ve liked to get it but our REI, online and regular stores, do not have the wide version. For this reason I bought the Nemo Tensor. I would have preferred the Rapide.
Great review. Thanks for doing this.
I think I heard you say it is very quiet - that what I have been searching amoung comfort, R value etc ... I have a Sea to Summit EtherLight XT Insulated and it is very noisy when you roll over. Wondering what do you consider this mat to be much quieter than what you have used - so I am guage the level. Thanks
@sritter if im totally honest i previously only had a trekology UL80 which is very much a 3 season pad and i found that very comfy and fairly quiet. I have been camping with someone who had a Neoair and it was much quieter than that for sure. Hope that helps mate.
