How strong is the ready to use? I just made a 32 oz bottle at 7:1 so 4oz product to 28 oz water. I’m usually happy with its cleaning power at that strength but curious what you guys went with for this premade?
This is a good product however after spraying the product and agitating you have only spread and thinned the dirt and stains out into the surrounding fabric surfaces. To remove the dirt and stains and contaminates from the fabric you need to spray rinse and vacuum extract to remove the stains and dirt completely from the fabric. Anything else is just moving the stains and dirt around spreading it into the surrounding fabric. !
As a professional, I can definitely tell you it’s a case by case. Let me explain. Chemicals have come a long way. What’s in a stain remover product is more than just a citrus soap. The chemicals in break down dirt, grime and stains and that residue could be absorbed into the towel. What they didn’t show well is all the residue in the towel because the seats weren’t too dirty to begin with. That part annoyed me lol. Now for more extreme cases then yes you need an extractor. HOWEVER, adding water sometimes creates MORE of the stain expanding and causing it to resoil. It’s better to use less water or no water and this product. Even those satisfying TH-cam or Instagram reels where they extract crazy stains with tons of will have stains reappear in 3 hours. Hate to burst a bubble lol but much of what we see in social media is not real life and for Instagram. When you have real customers you learn.
Maybe you didn't see my first post (right before this one) that I aked a question. Can you sill get it in a concentrate? I don't wan't it 20:1. It's a pretty simple question. If the answer is no, it's not a problem. I just move on. I've already used it at 20:1. That's good for clean carpets but loved the ability to adjust.
Yes! Fabric Clean Concentrate is available, check out this link. www.chemicalguys.com/products/foaming-citrus-fabric-clean-carpet-upholstery-shampoo?variant=47605452013873
We do not recommend using it on Alcantera surfaces. We recommend lightly cleaning it with Total Interior Cleaner + Protectant. www.chemicalguys.com/total-interior/total-interior.html
Great video but pro tip... never purchase a vehicle with cloth seats in the first place. Get covers if you're held at knifepoint to purchase a vehicle with cloth seats. 😆
Lived in Dallas for 23+ years. I feel like there's some heat here. Every vehicle I've owned, Porsche, Mercedes, etc., has, of course, had leather seating, steering, etc. Much more comfortable and stays much cleaner than cloth. Hands down. Rental cars with cloth seats are disgusting.

I absolutely agree with you. I recently cleaned my seats and the importance of water and extraction was evident to really clean the seats.

What about a seat with a heated seat? Would do this damage it, though?
Yeah but what about windshield overspray? Is this okay to accidentally spray windows plastics and vinyl with?

@@ChemicalGuys Thank you! Just purchased it.
I wanna get this, I just dont know if older car interiors, like mid 80s, is at risk of damage by these products.
You'll love Foaming Citrus Fabric Clean!!
How mls of this product do you need to a litre of water?
Does it also work on alcantera? Like bucket seats on fk8?
We do not recommend using it on Alcantera surfaces. We recommend lightly cleaning it with Total Interior Cleaner + Protectant.

Should I just wipe it with a towel? I think it is better to use a wet vacuum instead, or is it not necessary?
It’s not *necessary* but it helps tremendously. I personally would use one to get best possible results
CAN YOU STILL DILUTE THE READY TO GO PRODUCT?
Why you don't use a vacuum cleaner ?
Safe for heated seats, I assume?
Absolutely!
Absolutely!
Go ahead
😆
Will this help remove dog urine and odor
Hey! Fabric Clean is great for lifting stains and embedded odors.
Take a shot every time he says "dirt and grime".
😆
Damnit dude , I did and now I have no clue where I left my car 😮 but where ever it is it’s clean as a mother

😄
Or, if you must purchase a vehicle with cloth seats, ceramic coat them. 😉
Cloth is cooler if you live in the heat. Leather is nice when new, but in the long run begins to look like great grandpa's wrinkled face.
Can you use this on leather?
