- my 2008 mercedes c300 has the common ripped seam in the bottom seat cushion cover. in todays video we replace that to make it look good as new

UPDATE: they do make a new leather cover for this seat now after market and is alot cheaper then the dealer so it is a added option for your repair

i used a factory leather out of a wrecked car at the time of this video the aftermarket was not available

Mercedes used cheap hard leather on this model. Mink oil will soften the leather, with regular use.
thats a good tip may make peoples seats last longer

yes i still have mine only had a few issues nothing to bad its all about how many miles and how the past owner took care of it

if it took you months to get it would have been easier to get a passenger seat from the UK the cars are popular and the passenger side is usually undamaged and with the parts being cheaper postage wouldn't be too bad
true but i wonder what shipping would be fore something like that it might eat up some of the savings for not just buying it new
@@fatalambitions5597 they are like 250 for a new one from Mercedes passenger base in the UK is like 50 pounds it's just foam and leather so lite postage wouldn't be that much

Look at the brackets underneath if they’re are on the same spot as the drivers side, if it is, means it fits on the drivers side.
