As a Clevelander stuck in southwest VA, I love this!
Cool! I love VA (WV too!). Check out the Short Vincent videos, lot's of great stories and legends. Thanks for the feedback and any and all suggestions are appreciated.
I still call em the Indians ! 🔥 good video !
My first thought was the Curse of Rocky Colavito.
Love this!
I try and tell these stories as accurately as possible but this one was tricky. There are a lot (more) stories and legends around our friend Walking Bear. There are some informative websites to find out more about him. Also, if you believe the internet, one can see ghosts and spirits (not necessarily Chief Joc) roaming the cemetery after dark. I was going to stick around and film well into the night however a Cleveland Policeman suggested otherwise. If you visit, your results may vary. Thanks for watching!
Lived in Cleveland for 20 years.I walked through this Cemetery a few times.
Cool piece here never heard that story
I sure hope he did. And the browns to. I often thought about that.😸😸😸
At the turn of the 20th Century Mayor Tom Johnson relocated more than 2/3 of the graves in Erie St. Cemetery to a new city owned cemetery miles away on the southeast side of Cleveland, in order to add more space for downtown growth. So the cemetery was much larger. The stone wall around this cemetery was constructed in the 1930's after the east side of the Superior Viaduct was dismantled and the stones were used in a WPA project. The Cleveland Indians curse was levied by Russell Means, Native American actor and one time Cleveland resident who said in the 1990's that the team would never win the World Series until the name was banished. He said that not only would they fail to win, but would in fact lose in the 7th game, which the club did twice in 20 years.
Hey just wanna comment to help put the algorithm stuff. Cool idea and we'll executed!
