The way most people think...it's a wholesome state...which you'd understand if you go to the villages or even if you talk to people in the cities

Yes...you are correct...but Goa is also not 9 wari saadi and pakwaada...abhaanga....bhajani mandal as well.....Goa is incomplete without saanjaav....churches...carnival......etc and plus international guest....thats makes full set.....

A tavern is simply a pub. Aka, a bar in the US.
They ALL have their "regulars" and they ALL follow the opening and closing hours as per the local laws.
"After hours" clubs are a different story, and tend to be more "exclusive" and expensive.
