great video nick....my question is what do you do when the venue maitre d forces the toasts to happen right next to the couple. when I ask to switch up the position of the toast giver, they'll say something like, "This is how we do it here"
I always communicate with my couples before hand and let them know how I like to do toasts. If the DJ or even photographer give me pushback I let them know I have OK'ed it with the couple. It all depends on if this is something you really want to push for (I know I do).

Good question! I typically like to have them on opposite corners, diagonal from each other pointing to the middle.
