Seeing a Beluga anywhere is a rare sight, seeing one at LHR is just wow! No wonder so many airside personnel were out looking and taking photos. And I bet a lot of pilots in the cockpits of the other planes had never seen one before either.
They fly over my house all the time. But it's cool to see this unique plane at Heathrow. One diverted to Schiphol the other day, possible cabin pressure issues.
@04:19... Back in the 90's , you were able to drive across the runway as a shortcut to Hatton Cross, and if a plane needed to pass, they had lights and barriers like they have at train junctions.. We used to watch Concorde cross over, but back then it was so familiar we took it for granted..😒
