Thank you for documenting this beautiful place. It must be a lot of work filming it. Looks like an epic idea, used to park downstream of local rivers and raft/tube them as a kid.
@@bootsnthejeep yes, wool has thermoregulatory properties meaning it keeps you warm when it’s cold and cool when it’s hot so it’s an ideal fabric for outdoorsman
@@TheMaineWoods oh hell, I know that, I’ve got a closet full of the stuff, but I’ve never been able to wear wool pants like that without long johns. And that REALLY seems like too much for mild weather. Then again, this last set I bought were allegedly mostly merino, don’t know as I ever tried wearing them by themselves.
Wow, what an awesome canoe trip!! Absolutely gorgeous!! Gracie seems to enjoy the trips as much as you do.😄Take care and God Bless you and Gracie always
Wow what an amazing video thank you so much for putting these videos out when you do I’ve been watching you for some time now and I watch the saving an old log cabin Timelapse about 100 times I don’t know why I watch that one so much I just love that video I guess lol thanks for promoting that Mainely coffee I just recently bought the nine mile blend and I’m hooked I love it every time I watch one of your videos it reminds me of my camp up in Maine that I get to as much as possible take care and thank you for what you do tell Gracie hi for me she’s the best
Thank you Gracie & Corey. As always spectacular views of Maine. Little Gracie had to smile at ya every 10/20 mnts, LOL. Thanks so much sharing this video. Waiting for the next one please 😁
Loved it! From the boats, 2 of my favorite models, to the way you cashed food and gear, something Maine Guide Tom Hallenback was great at, to the cowboy coffee in a real coffee pot rather than some other contraption. Beautiful River...kind of with you guys had kept that more of a secret, lol, but I the drone shot of the canoes through the rapids was exceptional, and of course...who couldn't love the poling.
Hello there Sir. It is always so good to see you and Gracie. I know you and her are having a blast. I'm so thankful and grateful for that. I would like to give you some ideas about bugs that are bothering you and Gracie. Have you heard of Citronella candles. They say those are pretty good and also keep some off spray on hand. For Gracie!! How about a flea and tick collar. Hopefully that might help when you go camping. May you have a wonderful blessed day and take care
Thank you it’s nice to enjoy the Maine outdoors without getting wet and flys🤣Gus and I have watched all your videos he’s my wife’s black lab we are heading to NMW in a couple of weeks with a bag of Mainely coffee for another grand adventure peace be with you and Gracie☕️🙏
Enjoyed your video. I'm amazed the dog didn't jump in the water after the fish. My poodle jumped in after a duck one day. I always make him wear a life jacket.
Great adventure! I’m going to try to get my lab accustomed to canoe tripping this spring. I also tried polling for the first time over the summer and it changed my river trips forever👍
My dad, myself, dad’s friend Phil and his 2sons we canoed the river that flows into Clayton Lake it took us 3day’s and Camille brought the truck a round to Clayton Lake for us was a great trip 👍😎
Nobody can say you don’t work for best experience that’s for sure. Reminds me of my younger days with my Dad dragging me through those Northern Maine woods for some of the best fly fishing on the planet. With mid ‘60’s camping gear. 😂
The first video watched on your YT Channel. I really liked it very much. Maybe longer content and more about the river geography for sure. Videography and music fine. Grew up in NH and went to college in Bar Harbor, ME.
Fantastic footage, I felt like I was there. The problem I have is there is only so much time for canoeing and too many bodies of water. Ya can't do them all!
Is this considered a wilderness area? National park? Beautiful area. Thank you for sharing this. When I see videos like yours it amazes me how beautiful and vast some areas are. I can only imagine how beautiful it will look in the winter snow. The drone footage compliments the video.
@@TheMaineWoods She's an awesome girl. I had to laugh when I heard her responding everytime she heard the water splashing and the flopping fish sound on the boat. I can imagine she would love to munch down on one. if she hasn't already. I read where the worst thing is they can get all sorts of parasites and pathogens from them and then there are the bones.
I wish you guys would model responsible canoeing by wearing life jackets, especially with all the standing paddling you are doing. Otherwise a nice video.
Awesome video! Thank you for taking us along! I really liked how you take care of Gracie , a pad in the Canoe and a life Jacket for the Rapids. 👍👍💯💯
I try to keep her happy, that girl has been good to me, before I got her pad set up she was just flopped on the rocks and it looked pitiful lol
Very cool canoe trip and Gracie was amazing keeping hef cool in the rapids. Beautiful scenery and the muskie was a plus. Enjoyed.
Thanks 👍
I spent a lot of time in the 70's along the St Johns and Allagash, I prefer the St Johns. Thanks for making the video. Good times!
Very different character between the two rivers

Well done Cory and Jake! Enjoyed watching this trip. Interesting route for sure. Thanks for sharing!
Thanks Dave
I need to get a hat like Jake is wearing in this video
Pendleton wool!
Besides that, is he wearing wool friggin pants? They look like Big Bills.

Awesome, really appreciate the feedback
Great water levels this summer.
It sure is!
Nice trip & premier :)
Thanks! 😃
There's no place else that can come close to the Maine Woods. 👍 Nothing better than a shore lunch or dinner in God's country.
It was a good trip
Looked like nice water levels, I expect the whole state of Maine is running high this summer it sure is here in downeast Maine.
Definitely
great job!

Me neither
At least I don't wear a bug net in the driving rain....

Personally with a dog in the canoe, I'd have outriggers. They'd help increase the canon's stability.
Thoroughly enjoyed you alls adventure. How long was that drag of the canoes to begin the trip ?
Almost a mile
What a portage that was, must’ve been hard
It wasn’t that bad
very cool video! never saw a "land canoe" before! are muskies invasive species ?
Yes they are
How far of a hike in with the canoe?
How far did you have drag your canoe?
About a mile
@@TheMaineWoods oh my… that’s a long way.
What kind of pants are those? I see you wear them in a lot of your videos.

Those relentless horse, deer, moose flies. How many has she eaten in her day.
Not as many as have eaten her lol
