He has some very real limitations that I think most people glossed over or completely ignored during the draft process. I think his floor is very high because he is a great processor and makes smart decisions, but he'll likely never be elite with his weak arm.
So true, signed like three corners and resigned other guys who showed improvement and also got a LB and the best safety in the draft in Brian Branch while also getting one of the best TEs in the draft of not the best, second best RB who was talked about being even possibly better than Bijan, they did a really good job in my opinion
The Cowboys addressed most of the problems we had on defense, with a little offense. Hopefully we won’t get a train ran on us like we did all last season. I’ll take an F grade (but it’s really a B-).
@7:55 the lions offense was good last year. But the game plan was just rely on Jamaal Williams to carry them and they let him walk. I can’t believe they traded Swift but I loved taking a RB round 1. Otherwise they would’ve prolly had to go get Fournette
The one thing I'll say about Seattle and running backs is that we run them into the ground it seems even faster than most teams, and I've watched multiple games where we have been on rb 3 or 4, so for our team outside of one good rb, we need alot of backup rbs when our starter inevitably gets injured.
well look at our Superbowl team, we had several running backs in a committee type of play scheme where we never had any one back running every play. Walker looks like beast mode so we need a Turbin and Micheal to compliment him.
Yeah, Barry said he doesn't understand the running back picks because Walker played so well but the Seahawks lost Penney and Homer. DeeJay Dallas alone wasn't going to be enough depth at rb so I like the picks. Its almost like Barry has to say at least one stupid thing about each team's draft. It's like some kind of quota he has to fill.
D+ is insanely harsh for the browns, Jones was a massive steal figuratively and literally, McGuire is a big sleeper pick, wypler was a projected 3rd or 4th rounder and they got a project qb who if needed could definitely play at a high level
As an FSU fan I got to see Anthony Richardson a couple times in person and that dude just needs the right Qb coach and he’s gonna be special, if his accuracy and reads get just slightly better he’s gonna burst onto the scene like Lamar did coming out of college (if this is wrong future comments flame my ass 😂)
I just love how Barry says the weakest part of Indianapolis was their defense, when it was the offense that was *historically* bad. Shows how little he actually watches anything.
I'm a Falcons fan if you paid attention to the NFL you would know the amazing off-season we had. Spending about 70 million in free agency. Adding Scotty Miller, Jessie Bates, Jeff Okuda, Callias Campbell, Bud Depree, DT David Onumata, Kaden Ellis OLB, Mike Hughes CB
As a Bulldogs fan, I will be softly rooting for the Eagles. Jalen Carter as an eagle is actually the perfect situation because he is no longer in Georgia, he has familiar faces from Georgia, the team and fan base love high motor players and they are filled with veterans. He has the best chance at reaching his potential in Philly versus any other team. My main team is still the Falcons. Team is looking solid and I'm hoping everything can come together this season. People have already forgotten all the pieces we picked up and traded for in free agency. Honestly all we need is a second WR to step up and for our LG situation to improve(we got two OL in the draft so hopefully one is good enough to start immediately) and we are golden, at least offensively. Patterson is getting old so it makes sense to get new blood in there plus Arthur Smith knows how to scheme play action and running plays fantastically. Defensively we got a new coordinator (defensive coach from the Saints. A team that had a top 10 ranking in total defense) and we filled up alot of holes. And we are in the NFC South so that will help as well. And even if we fall apart this year, we will be in prime position next season for some top talent. We did good for the most part. If we had that compensation pick then we probably would have got WR Tyler Scott. We will be miles better on both sides of the ball because Ridder can actually throw more than 5 yards and will be looking to get chemistry with Pitts and Jonnu Smith.
How was the colts biggest weakness passing defense? The offense was so terrible that the defense was on the field way too much and they were still good enough to keep them in close enough games.
The panthers have put out a hard knocks level series on their channel and got every player they were targeting. To give them a D for getting the best qb available alone is wild
I found this pretty humorous and some of the statements were pretty justified. Carter landing in Philly is the best place for him. Lots of UGA teammates that know and can help with his work ethic issues. Which is the reason teams passed on him, not so much the accident. Glad we were able to trade Swift to Philly. We love him here in the D, just he is a totally different runner when a little banged up. Glad he is home and can get a recharge and chance to play with a good support network in place. Campbell upgrades 3 positions for Detroit. first he is a better Mike than Anzalone (not his primary LB position). Anzalone moves to Will and kicks Rodriguez to ST and 3rd backer. Barnes who was 3rd LB now can go play on the line LB which is where he played better and a more natural position for him. He was really not doing well at off the ball LB as evidence by being beaten out by a 5th round rookie. Fun video though. #OnePride
My guy Atlanta just spent 80 to 90% of The off-season on the Defense while picking up a few solid wide receiver pieces. What are you on because I want some.
Bijan ain't just another RB I love Tyler but a lot of that success is due to the fact that this Oline can Run Block extremely well. Bijan behind this line with this staff and this scheme is gonna be on another level plus Falcons still have Allgeier and Huntley for extra power and Patterson to mentor Bijan This offense is gonna be electric. I give the Falcons' draft a solid B+ because they filled their hole on the oline in the second, While it's risky taking a RB in the top 10, ATL got a generational talent at the most important skill position in Arthur's offense in the 1st, and continued to fill needs on defense later in the draft. I get the Falcons could have done more on Defense in the draft but remember they spent MONEY and draft capitol to completely transform this defense for Ryan Nielsen with guys like Onyemata, Goldman, Campbell, Okudah, Hughes and Bates and when you say "they didn't even take defense until 75" it feels as though you are completely ignoring all the FAs they signed in the offseason .
As a Bills Fan, I clapped, I gave the bills a B+ so your grade is fair, also it was mentioned by BBB post draft that dorian williams will play more OLB so he is not a replacement to Tremaine Edmunds. I loved the Torrence pick, he looks like a stud and a much needed man mover on the interior for goalline and short yardage plays. The Bills recognized helping their two best players in Allen and Diggs is how this roster should be constructed.
Gotta say I'm surprised you gave my GMen an A Grade, obviously you're not a Danny Dimes believer which is fine but respect to you for putting your bias aside and giving our draft the respect it deserves. I'll definitely be buying a Marijuana Overdose Awareness shirt to hopefully put an end to the epidemic of marijuana overdoses. Did you know that over 10 billion people die every minute from marijuana overdose?? Crazy shit.
I'd bump Arizona to A+ if you include the Houston trade. Houston looks improved, but will still probably be lucky to win 5-6 games. The Cardinals potentially netted themselves a free top 10 pick to go with the one they'll probably end up with on their own. Remember Houston ended up giving away pick 4 in 2018 and pick 3 in 2021 in previous trades
C for the Colts is just downright disrespectful they easily had a top 5 draft also the pass D defensively was not their weakest their pass D was 11th this past season so….
You might wanna relook at Steelers picks.. look where those picks were supposed to go overall.. the first four picks were projected to go in the first and they got 3 in the second herbig was projected to go in the late late second early 3rd and they got him in the 4th

I’ll take an F grade (but it’s really a B-).
as long as PreSucks is QB, we wont do anything
@@gusdagoose6048 sadly, you’re right😔😔
Small thing, but I really like your more off the cuff intonation for this video. Honestly, I'd like more of it. Thanks for the good work, Barry.
An other classic vid and also that Buffalo grade B was a good one hahah
@7:55 the lions offense was good last year. But the game plan was just rely on Jamaal Williams to carry them and they let him walk. I can’t believe they traded Swift but I loved taking a RB round 1. Otherwise they would’ve prolly had to go get Fournette
Thank you for your service Barry . Truly one of the nfl scouts of all time.
The funniest video covering anything related to football of all time🤣
The one thing I'll say about Seattle and running backs is that we run them into the ground it seems even faster than most teams, and I've watched multiple games where we have been on rb 3 or 4, so for our team outside of one good rb, we need alot of backup rbs when our starter inevitably gets injured.
well look at our Superbowl team, we had several running backs in a committee type of play scheme where we never had any one back running every play.
Looking for this as well. We're one Walker injury away from having no running backs and statistically our RB1 lasts between 0-5 games.
@@MrEcoho Marshawn was clearly used the most in 2013 and 14 but point taken.
@@fortynights1513 used the most but not every snap like weve done to every back since because we couldnt afford multiple backs.
D+ is insanely harsh for the browns, Jones was a massive steal figuratively and literally, McGuire is a big sleeper pick, wypler was a projected 3rd or 4th rounder and they got a project qb who if needed could definitely play at a high level
How do I submit a photo of an adorable puppy for your "puppy time" segments please?
The first 40 year old rookie QB... got my like 👍
Such great casual and un-insightful analysis. Keep it up Barry!
As a bears fan, wow you predicted the future 😂
Browns literally didnt have a single bad pick in what world is it a D+ its atleast a B being generous
0:26 Didn’t know you liked Tom Brady now
Was waiting for this!!
I ain’t reading allat
Who going to read it that?😂
Lol I feel that but I had to say something because I don't know how Atlanta is getting cooked for focusing on strength
1:24 “Falcons have always had a bad defense for as long as I can remember”.
*1977 falcons enter the chat*
Barry: oh shit I’m completely fucked
4:12 Absolutely frickin based
Meanwhile, I’m just happy that so many Illini got drafted.
I-L-L!
Between the last two drafts, the Eagle's strategy has been 'f**k it let's just become the Georgia Bulldogs'. The Chargers did the same with TCU lmao
How was the colts biggest weakness passing defense? The offense was so terrible that the defense was on the field way too much and they were still good enough to keep them in close enough games.
6:16 called the browns bengals lol. Didn't do anything to hinder the video though, enjoyed it through and through 😁
Seahawks had issues with Rb's getting injured a lot last year so i think it makes sense he drafted them just as backups just in case
The panthers have put out a hard knocks level series on their channel and got every player they were targeting. To give them a D for getting the best qb available alone is wild
I'm amazed that such a legendary scout is taking time out of his schedule to educate us
mr barry i think u should look back at the old drafts. like 5 years back and regrade them. that would be a good yearly series around draft time
I found this pretty humorous and some of the statements were pretty justified.
What are you on because I want some.
hey im a Lions fan but got to give you props for calling it like it is.
Never forget that Curry just put up 50 in a game 7 Barry
“One of the greatest number 2 receivers of all time.” 💀 You did OBJ dirty Barry, I mean dirtier than when he goes into the bathroom
Crazy shit.
How does taking a tackle at 10 and getting a new rb 1 and wr4 translate to not supporting Justin Fields ?
dude that New Jersey giants joke? funniest shit I've ever heard. almost as funny as when that one guy turned himself into a pickle
Colts biggest weakness wasn't defense. It was oline
C for the Colts is just downright disrespectful they easily had a top 5 draft also the pass D defensively was not their weakest their pass D was 11th this past season so….
I'm just here to listen to you drag my Jags draft....haven't seen it yet, please don't disappoint
Edit: How dare you
“I think he’s going to be a hit because of his last name” 😂😂
I’m glad someone finally recognized the Ohio St QB curse.
You might wanna relook at Steelers picks.. look where those picks were supposed to go overall.. the first four picks were projected to go in the first and they got 3 in the second herbig was projected to go in the late late second early 3rd and they got him in the 4th
4:13 Nah, former Bud Light drinkers deserve all the roasting they can get.
Dontayvion Wicks from UVA to Green Bay is going to be a diamond in the rough if he can work is way into some playing time. Dude was a beast at uva
I’m a uva fan so I hope he does well
Shout out Sean Clifford getting drafted in the 5th round, even as a Penn Stater i was convinced by everyone around me saying he wasn’t even draft material, but i thought he was p good, fuck yea dawg, WE ARE in the league
This draft grading must make your wife's boyfriend proud of you
