@@AndSaveAsManyAsYouCan Here's your 2017 Eagles superbowl team in a nutshell: If Belicek doesn't inexplicably bench Malcolm Butler, the Eagles are currently in a 65 year championship drought, and if Julio Jones doesn't drop the ball in the endzone, the Eagles get bounced in the wildcard round and don't even win a single playoff game. Their offense consisted of 2 backup quality quarterbacks throwing to Torrey Smith and Nelson Agohor, no 1000 yard receiver, no 1000 yard rusher,. plus a defense that didn't have a single player with 10 sacks. The 2011 Giant team this guy is calling the worst had two 1000 yard receivers, a QB who throw for almost 5,000 yards, and multiple players with double digit sacks - the 2017 Eagles had none of these things and don't even make his list.

I feel like “having an elite defense that stepped up” or “having a kicker make big kicks” isn’t luck at all. Those are parts of the team in your control
This is a bias that both Barry and Tubfrog seem to share. Or it's a blindspot about defenses. It's always "the offense sucked and the QB should be sent to Siberia!" rather than "the defense was so dominate they shut down everyone". 21st century NFL has been so pass/score happy that it doesn't occur to some fans that defenses can actually still change games.
I agree, but the point is that it is still considered QB achievment and that is the problem. If we could agree that the defense won that game, there wouldnt be a problem. I´m a KC fan and Mahomes can do stuff, other QBs cant, It is basically the defense that brought them here. When people tell Brady beat Mahomes in a game, whilest only meeting on the field to greet each other after the game....that´s pissing me off. The love isnt distributed to the team enough. And watching the videos of barry should make it clear why this is a problem.
If you have a middle of the road QB like Mark Rypien, go 14-2 but have a fantastic defense and 1000 yard rusher like Ernest Byner, this guy thinks “You were the worst!” 😂
I still believe the lions will be back, but yeah, I feel like it’s because Jared Goff is like a teir below the minimum of quarterback player for a championship roster.
As a Giants fan, I knew we were going to be there although I'd rather be a crap team that won the Super Bowl instead of an elite team that lost the Super bowl.
I don’t even disagree with the rankings necessarily but it’s hilarious how Barry will take any opportunity he can to discredit the Giants. Like gimme a fucking break lmao
We don't have to win another one for the rest of my life, and I can eat of those two vs the Patriots when we shocked the world, TWICE, for the rest of my days. Let the butthurt flow.
@@Zalis116To be fair, a Brady Patriots team or a team that beat a Brady Patriots team, incapacitates almost every Super Bowl Champion from 2001 to 2019
It’s a fluke because when did Flacco ever do that again, regular or postseason? He wasn’t an elite quarterback he had an elite run. Similar to Nick Foles.
You left out that the 2001 Patriots had a week 16 bye. So they had 2 bye weeks out of 3. THis is an overlooked aspect of luck to that team. It's ridiculous that they got that much rest going into a playoff run.
@@moopert86 it was because there was an uneven number of teams in the NFL at 31 until the Houston Texans was created in 2002 to make an even 32 teams. Only one team was created in 2002 to make 32 teams because there was 31 teams before.
The tuck rule play is probably the single most consequential play in NFL history. If it got ruled as a fumble (like it should have), then the Patriots season would have ended and they would have gone right back to Bledsoe the next season. Brady would have looked like a scrub and the dynasty probably would have never happened.
No some coaches on the staff already thought Brady should be the starter in the 2001 training camp Bledsoe was probably gone either way or if they chose Bledsoe another team trades for Brady and they win those rings not the Patriots
Bledsoe was definitely a goner, but the 2002 Patriots weren't that great. There's a real chance by 2003 Belichick would have brought in someone else to replace Brady. But I fully agree with your thesis. Oh, and the Rams would have been considered a dynasty because they probably would have beat the other AFC potential opponents.
I'm from Baltimore and I'm surprised you'd put the 2012 Ravens on the list over the 2000 Ravens. While our defense was top tier, the team went several weeks without an offensive touchdown. We won on Matt Stover field goals and defensive scores. Trent Dilfer was our Super Bowl QB. So yeah, I'd expect them to be here, not the 2012 team.
That Texan game was scripted how about them only putting up 2 fgs in the first half or missing 3 of them and sacking Stroud 8 times its not scripted you just can't accept the the Chiefs won fair and square
Pats fan here! My thoughts on our three teams being here. 2018: Yeah this team wasn’t our greatest. All our regular season losses were to non playoff teams. We did smash the chargers, but KC was scrappier. Dee Ford was off sides but I consider that his own fault. And that Super Bowl was a rough one to sit through if you love offense. 2003: Honestly if we’re gonna call this Pats team lucky or overrated or whatever then we need to do the same to the 2024 Chiefs (no matter where they end up). Team still managed to win 14 games and have one of the best defenses of the 2000s. And the offense did at least come to play in the biggest game of the year. Lucky? I guess you could say that. But that defense was way too good to say the team was luckier than 2018. 2001: This team I always have some leeway because they did go 5-11 in 2000 and started 0-2 until Brady went 11-3. Never agreed with people saying the tuck rule was a fumble cuz in the late 90s and early 2000s that would’ve been the correct call. In today’s game it is 100% a fumble though. In the AFC title game Brady got hurt, but I still think the game would’ve had a similar result with or without him since Brady usually smoked the Steelers. In the Super Bowl I do agree that the Pats defense made a big impact, but again the offense did help set Vinitari up to kick the game winner. So everyone played at least a small role in the win. Overall, I can see your points. 2003 is the only one I consider kind of a stretch. But I can see the points for 01 and 18. They definitely had their lucky moments legitimate or not. But those definitely weren’t on the same level as the 04,14, or 16 teams.
@ nope. Steelers got screwed on that and should’ve got the one seed. Tuck rule was a dumb rule but it was a rule from 1999-2013. It’s basically saying that a pump fake still counts as a forward pass. Is it stupid? 100 billion percent. Is it correct? Yes.
@@joeschmo7834Super Bowl MVP doesn’t mean shit, its voted on by fans. Most “fans” that watch the SB can’t name a player besides the QB. 😂 Same with the pro bowl voting, doesn’t really mean shit.

Most incredible statistic I ever heard concerning a team that made it to the Superbowl; by the 1994 San Diego Chargers: In their two Playoff games against the Dolphins and Steelers, they lead in those games for a total of just over 2 minutes! Amazing (and I am a Chargers fan)!
Yeah they were 14-2. Whether they were lucky to be 14-2 is a whole other story but that sort of record should preclude you from lists such as this one. This list is for 5 losses plus.
The problem with having the '23 Chiefs on this list is that they had the hardest SB run ever by DVOA and beat the 6, 2, 1, 1 seeds. Also, you can't say they lucked out against the Bills when Mecole Hardman fumbled at the goaline, through the endzone, for a touchback lmao
The Mecole fumble is only Andy to blame for going back to him after he already fumbled once before that, he’s a very overrated coach big time choker that was on the hot seat before Mahomes came in. And they had the worst WR group in the NFL. That SB run was all Mahomes Kelce and Spagnuolo
@@erict4807 I agree but the claim in the video was that they got lucky against buffalo because of a missed FG. The Hardman fumble was much more unlucky than the miss
The 2003 Patriots don't belong on this list. Their defense was really that good. They won out the season after starting 1-2. The 03 and 04 Patriots are arguably their best SB winning teams. You may as well put the 00 Ravens or 02 Buccaneers, who had journeymen quarterbacks carried by their defense on the list then.
For real and he failed to mention the 2003 pats team riddled with injuries all year to begin the season. Plus they had to start 42 different players with 5 players on I.R. so that 2003 was not healthy all season
@@RIPMMDthose Eagles were favorites all year long til Wentz got injured but then Foles became the greatest QB ever for a few games. Definitely not a bad team.
What do you mean "flukey"? That Manning to Tyree play was maximum effort. And, later, neglecting the superhuman Eli surviving that beating the 9ers were giving him. Brady and Mahomes get "roughing the passer" calls for so much less.
If I was a giants fan I’d be proud af of those rings. They literally beat the Micheal Jordan/bulls of the nfl twice . As a Vikings fan I’d trade that for our experience.
As a Vikings fan I'd take any of the Superbowls from the 70s. It'd be nice the say we *DID* win, but it was back when my Dad was in elementary school 😂
as a giants fan, while it was fun watching them win twice of course, the more distance from that era i get and the more i think about it the thing that sticks with me is how often they didnt play up to potential. the same might true for other teams on this list, i dont know as i didnt follow them closely enough to know, but what qualifies these 2 giants teams, esp 2011, for this list isnt that they werent good teams so much as they were prone to constantly screwing around and loosing games they should have won. truthfully, this is probably because they were poorly coached. and in many years (09, 10, 12, 13) this kept them from even being in the playoffs. the luckiest moment of the 2011 run is all but forgotten- JPP blocked a last second field goal versus dallas in something like week 14 or 15. he doesnt block that kick the giants are home on the couch watching the playoffs, having again lost a key late season game they should have won.
Super Bowl IV was a game that still left an impression on me. The Kansas City Chiefs beat the Minnesota Vikings 23-7 in a snoozefest that's remembered more for sloppy play than great performances. Chiefs had a very good defense, allowing just 12.6 points per game, but the offense was unspectacular. Super Bowl MVP Len Dawson threw for just nine touchdowns that season while throwing 13 interceptions. Leading rusher Mike Garrett ran for 732 yards and just six touchdowns on the year. The competition they saw that day was atrocious. Vikings committed five turnovers and were nearly shut out before scoring a late touchdown.
It makes me happy when barry is forced to talk about the giants in a postive way since he obviously has a long standing hatred of them, it brings warmth and happiness to my sad life
Haven’t started the video yet, but I’m gonna predict that at least half of Tom Brady’s super bowl wins are gonna be here (I’ll edit this comment post-watch based on how (in)accurate I was EDIT: right away, 2018 Pats EDIT 2: the ‘03 Pats EDIT 3: the ‘01 Pats Wow, 3 out of 7 were Patriots teams. That’s close to half, so I’ll take it
I mean if anything it kind of makes brady look better if 3 of his teams were on this list. No idea how the 2003 pats were on here they had an elite defense and won 14 games
Those two Giants teams definitely belong on the list. Let's be real. It's not like he picked the 86 or 90 Giants. 07 and 11 were truly low tier SB winning teams. The 03 Patriots are the real head scratcher on this list.
The Giants broke an NFL RECORD of 11 ROAD WINS IN A SEASON in 2007, They beat the falcons 9-7, and they beat the Cowboys 13-3 and deafeted the Packers 13-3 and beat the Patriots that were 16-0 to win the Superbowl ! The Giants beat teams that had a combined win total of 51 wins, which is a record !! Then, in 2011the Giants beat the Falcons 10-6 and defeated the Green Bay Packers 15-1 and deafeted the 49ers 13-3 and deafeted the Patriots 13-3 to win the Superbowl ! They also beat teams with a combined record of 51 wins ! The Giants got hot, and Eli was clutch in the playoffs ! The Giants also have 4 Superbowl wins !
Peyton Manning Broncos could be on here. The defense was amazing, but man Peyton was terrible. Brock was ok. The Super Bowl game itself was really weird, some tough calls against the Panthers early on and Cam Newton playing very badly even when the defense wasn't on him. Peyton playing possibly worse than Cam too. In the playoffs they had home field which bailed them out. They played the Steelers when all the RBs were injured and Antonio Brown was knocked out the week before.
One thing about those 2007 giants (that I love) is that the vikings beat them 41-17 that season, like week 13 or something, and eli had 4 touchdown passes. 3 went to vikings defenders. That team won the super bowl like 2 months later against the undefeated pats. Amazing turnaround (eli was also just doodoo against minnesota for whatever reason)
As a Ravens fan, I'll happily take a mediocre regular season team that heats up in the playoffs over a dominant regular season team that cools down in the big moments. Regular season Lamar and post season Flacco would be unstoppable.
Flacco was good all around. I dont understand why he has people that think he wasnt any good until the playoffs. He still had to help the team qualify to get in the tournament. I made a video in 11 called ravens rap that said flacco was gonna win the super bowl. Then he did.
@@universe-ie2mkyeah I agree. Flacco was dominate from 2008-2013 in the regular season and postseason. He could have easily gotten to three Super Bowls. He did fall off from 2014 on.
Not a Lions fan, but damn do I feel bad for their fans. Survived 50+ years of crap & an 0-16 season. Earned the #1 seed only to get dick-punched by a rookie QB at home.
It felt good to watch. Amon Ra talked mad shit all year. They played all gas no brakes which led to injuries. All the media love made their fanbase unbearable. They started acting like 90s Cowboys fans
It's not about how you start, but how you finish that matters. Like you said with the 88 Niners, they got their shit together and finished the season 10-6 and winning the Super Bowl. They finished strong.
You could not be more off about the 2023 Chiefs. They arguably had the most difficult road to the SB in history, and still managed to pull it off. If you say that one team wins via “luck” solely because the opposing team made mistakes/didn’t play at full potential, you’d be describing the vast majority of all playoff games in history. Also, the win vs the Ravens was not “squeaked out.” Watching that game back, it’s clear the Chiefs were in the drivers seat for the entirety of the 2nd half. The Bills and 49ers games were much closer. It doesn’t take a genius to see that the modern-age Chiefs aren’t the flashiest regular season team - they keep the playbook just simple enough to win games and make the playoffs. Just because they weren’t the #1 seed doesn’t mean they weren’t capable of a higher level of play. Lastly, the Chiefs didn’t get a possession in SB OT solely because of the new rules. The 49ers kicked a FG. The Chiefs would get the ball back regardless of the new rules.
I’m lifelong Wash fan but have lived in SJ my whole life. When Eagles won in 2017 it’s was actually painful. I have often they were worst team to ever win Super Bowl. Maybe one HOFer-Jason Kelce who’s plays center. There’s been like 6 HOF centers in NFL. Rest of team were average/slightly above players-Older Alshon Jeffrey, Torrie Smith, Corey Clement, Nick Foles, Older Malcolm Jenkins, etc
As much as you hate on The Giants how’s it feel that Eli Manning alone has more rings than The Dumbass Pigeons 😂 that doesn’t even factor in the two we had before him
Man I’m so happy my loving wife finally let me get some alone time while she hangs with the local college football team. This Barry guy really seems to like the pats!
2023 Chiefs were better at the opponent's home field (8-2, including playoffs) than at home (5-4, including playoffs). The SB and the regular season "home" game overseas against the Dolphins, both wins, were on neutral sites.
I ask myself when Barry will finally turn on Mahomes and accept that he hasn't played as good as he can the last years and had at least the same amount of luck as Brady
So much of life is just about showing up and being at the right place in the right time. The teams mentioned were lucky but they were also good. Even the Eli led Giants.
I'm surprised the '05 Steelers didn't make this list. They had to win the final 4 games to make the playoffs. Won against the Bengals after Carson Palmer got hurt. Won against the Colts because they missed a field goal. The Superbowl was badly officiated. And Ben's stats were dogshit throughout that run.
That Colts team was insane that year. For the Steelers to even keep that game close was a miracle but they had a sick defense. Joey Porter played the game of his life and don't forget Troy Polamalu interception being overturned. Maybe if Nick Harper wasn't stabbed by his wife the night before, Roethlisberger doesn't make the tackle.
@fortynights1513 I believe that they would have. Not a great Broncos team in the AFC championship and I don't see the Seahawks stopping that video game like offense.
This list is really “Worst Offenses to Win the Super Bowl” A lot of these teams are just boring offenses with dominant defenses so they don’t seem that good.
Wait, how on earth can you call it luck when a team wins 2 super bowls in 4 years. Yes, those Giants teams weren’t the strongest in the regular season, but they performed in the playoffs-offs when it mattered. You don’t get to the Super Bowl based off luck, never mind winning it.
Good or bad I don't care. I'm just thankful that the New York Giants defeated the 2007 Patriots and kept them from being undefeated. One of the best days of my life. Thank you Giants.
You make some good points, but your jealousy and hatred of the Patriots and the obviously best quarterback ever to take the field completely ruin the video. Your attitude totally disappointed me. The title of the video caught my attention. Your infantile whining turned me off. Now go get a tissue.
I hate "fluke run" of Flacco. 2014 & 11 Flacco almost got the Ravens to another Superbowl (still hate Brady for ruining both those runs by one score in both games). I also remember 2015 Joe gets hurt and I had to watch the horrible years afterwords, where Joe wouldn't run or go outside of the pocket again after that injury. I remember Gilmore, Williams, and Pitta all get into the top 10 in TE fantasy points in the same week. Without that injury I believe Joe would've been the same gunslinger he always was.... Now would that result into more success.... I'm not saying that. But I miss Joe winning or losing the games depending if he was hitting his targets that day
@thewelfarequeenpodcast7512 I don't want to say they don't know football. People just forget that Joe was injured in the first place. And just look at 2018 Joe and think that's what he naturally became

This fails to mention that Brady also has wins in the luckiest comeback of all time against the Falcons AND against the Seahawks who should’ve just ran the ball. That’s another 2 Super Bowls gifted to him.
The 2012 Ravens shouldn't be anywhere near that list. The only reason why they stumbled to a 10-6 record was because of injuries, and having to overcome a massive overhaul on the defensive side of the ball. Once everyone for the most part got healthy come playoff time, they proved why they still were one of the best teams in football. If not for the two things I mentioned, that team would have gotten a 1st Round Bye in the playoffs and even though the revenge game against New England doesn't happen. They still win it all regardless.
The 07 Giants slapped around and dominated the undefeated Patriots and took them to the wire the last week of the season. The 80 Raiders won 9 of their last 11, Lester Hayes set the AFC record with 13 interceptions in a single season(5 in the playoffs with 18 total) and won two road playoff games en route to avenging one of their only 5 losses by beating Philly 27-10 in Super Bowl XV after beating the AFC West champion Chargers in the AFC Championship Game. Your video is invalid as you don’t know what you’re talking about.
a common theme here is teams that are part of dynasties that had weak regular seasons before winning another super bowl. this doesnt make these bad teams. these teams that are actually so great they can phone in the regular season, doing just barely enough, and still win the super bowl.
What the hell is with the Flacco hate? Ravens entire playoff run that year was magical. Can’t say they surprisingly made the playoffs before immediately mentioning their AFCCG loss the year before 😂 I wasn’t surprised a playoff team made the playoffs
That Super Bowl between the Rams and New England was a complete JOKE. One of the most boring SBs of all time. The Rams had no business being there because of the officiating in the Championship game, where the Saints were CLEARLY ROBBED. And on top of that, KC had every chance to beat the lucky Patriots. Imagine that Super Bowl between the Saints and Chiefs ?? It would have been a classic !!
As a Packers fan, I’m kind of surprised the 2010 Packers missed this due how much of a long shot we were to win along with our defensive struggles despite still being clutch when it mattered
like Abraham Lincoln once said... "id rather be a lucky winner than an unlucky loser" ... better to be the worse team to win, than the best team to lose.
This is dumb. The only thing that matters is who ran the table in the playoffs. That's what counts and all that counts. SB Champs aren't crowned by who had the best records or who we think had the dominant rosters. I'd rather run the playoff gauntlet and take home the chip instead of being acknowledged with having the best record and dominate roster. This is hater and crtbaby energy.
The weird thing about the Raiders in 1980 is that five teams in the AFC were 11-5. Nobody in the AFC had a better record. The Chargers won the division because they had better net points in division games.
Sorry Barry, just keeping it real, you're a fool for putting the'03 Pats on this list. Their MOV was not great, but they went 17-2, the only way you could claim they were one of the 10 worst Super Bowl champs ever is because of your bias against Brady. The '05 Steelers & '21 Rams are teams who are clearly more deserving of this list than they were.
The 2018 Eagles won the SB with Nick Foles as the QB. Also, when Eli Manning gets into the HOF, it will be an insult to the many great players who are in there. The guy was a mediocre player during the regular season, and only got won those SB's with excellent defenses and sheer luck on a couple of throws.
“A couple of lucky throws.” Eli’s 2 playoff runs combined: 14 TDs, 2 interceptions. One int hit Steve Smith right in the hands. I bet the thought of his bust haunts your dreams
If Eli Manning gets in, they will have to let basically everyone in like the basketball hall of fame. You cannot get into the HOF for less than 4-5+ seasons of dominance. Eli has 2 AT BEST.
Idk if the 2003 pats claim makes sense. You said they were a bad team because they primarily won due to their 1st-ranked defense helped by strong special teams. Defense and special teams are a big part of the team.
It’s hard to believe now, but People forget that in 2002-2005, Brady was hardly the superstar. In fact, at the time in 2002, most people in Boston area wanted Drew Bledsoe back. He was effective, a cut above a game manager, but thanks to a great Defense he won. But Pretty much every great QB followed this path of development (xcept Kurt Warner & Marino) Then enter Randy Moss…..
You are completely wrong about the 2012 Ravens. The only team that might've been better than them that year was the Broncos, and we know how that game went. They were in the AFC Championship 3 out of 5 years and they managed to make it to the playoffs that season, even though they were decimated with many key injuries throughout the season, and almost everyone was back at full strength, just before the playoffs, which is why they "got hot" all of a sudden.
You kidding? Eagles were one seed that year and those Giants teams were just barely sneaking into the playoffs. The 2011 team has the worst regular season record to ever go on to win the Super Bowl. Meanwhile that Eagles team earned a first week bye, blew the doors off the 2nd seed in the NFCCG and then outgunned Tom Brady in one of the highest scoring Super Bowls ever, leading the game for about 90% of the play time. Even if you could rationalize calling a one seed team one of the worst, you’d still have to explain the preponderance of offense they put up as well as handing Brady his most decisive Super Bowl loss.
@ the only ring the eagles have ever won came in a year where the best generation of quarterbacks didn’t make the divisional round. The only year that that’s happened. Mickey Mouse ass ring 😭
@ meanwhile, that giants team beat Matt Ryan, mvp Aaron Rodgers (15-1), Alex smith with a stacked defense and then Brady. That Philly team played case keenum 😂
@@uzinxgang7152 Yeah, they had to play that many games because the team was mediocre in the regular season. That’s what happens when you’re the lower seed, you have to play all the teams that were better then you. You’re just proving my point. They didn’t have to play any teams better then them because none of them were. Even in the Super Bowl the Eagles were basically in control throughout. They let Brady back into it briefly and then shut the door with more good offense and a defensive stop. The Eagles weren’t hurling it downfield hoping for a miracle helmet catch. Brady was.
This is absolutely one of the worst takes I've seen ever regarding the Ravens. Joe Flacco's "Fluke" run...you fail to mention he had an awesome 2011 AFC Championship Game when Lee Evans dropped a would be go ahead TD in the final seconds, and then John Harbaugh inexplicably doesn't call time out but instead lets his FG kicker rush onto the field late and had to rush the kick which he of course missed. Flacco played awesome in that game. Not to mention Joe went to the playoffs in his first 5 years as a Pro - that's not a fluke. You can argue all you want about him not being elite, but c'mon - that playoff run in 2012 was historic. 11 TD, no INT. Tying Joe Montana for most TD's thrown without an INT in the playoffs. And to top it off Flacco AGAIN had the Ravens on the cusp of going back to another AFC Championship Game in 2014 by giving them TWO separate 14 point leads. Only to have their defense (which at that point was clearly overrated) squander it. Win that game and the one in 2011 and he's 4-0 versus the Pats. I know he didn't do anything in that first playoff match vs Brady, but he was suffering from some severe bruised ribs and could barely throw the ball that season. I'm not saying Joe Flacco belongs in the Hall of Fame, but to say he's a fluke is a joke. Entitled to your opinion of course, but that team no way should be on the list of 10 worst of all time to win the Super Bowl.
I would put the 1987 Redskins on this list. They got lucky because Minnesota upset the two best teams in the NFC. Then they beat Minnnesota to go there. Finally, they crushed Denver who was very good at getting crushed in the Super Bowl. It was also a weird year because of the strike.
I still don’t get why people say the patriots were “bailed” in the 2018 afc championship. He was offsides. They weren’t bailed the other team just made a mistake

I feel like “having an elite defense that stepped up” or “having a kicker make big kicks” isn’t luck at all. Those are parts of the team in your control
Yeah Barry thinks offense and qb play in particular is all that matters for some reason
According to Barry the QB is the only part of the game that isn't luck.
If you have a middle of the road QB like Mark Rypien, go 14-2 but have a fantastic defense and 1000 yard rusher like Ernest Byner, this guy thinks “You were the worst!” 😂

If Lee Evans holds on to the ball In 2011 Joe goes back 2 back
It’s a fluke because when did Flacco ever do that again, regular or postseason? He wasn’t an elite quarterback he had an elite run. Similar to Nick Foles.
@ the year before Lee Evan’s dropped the ball and multiple afc title games under flacco wasn’t just one year 🤡
You left out that the 2001 Patriots had a week 16 bye. So they had 2 bye weeks out of 3. THis is an overlooked aspect of luck to that team. It's ridiculous that they got that much rest going into a playoff run.
Very interesting 🤔
Looking into it!
Yeah that stretch of NFL from 99-01 had the bye weeks all messed up with 31 teams in the league
@@moopert86 it was because there was an uneven number of teams in the NFL at 31 until the Houston Texans was created in 2002 to make an even 32 teams. Only one team was created in 2002 to make 32 teams because there was 31 teams before.
@@colinkee4042The 2001 Browns had a bye week in week 17 and basically played 16 straight games.

@@davis2k1234saying another team would just win 6 rings just cause they have a raw Brady is kinda insane to say
No the rule was called correctly at the time
The tuck rule play was called correctly for the time
I'm from Baltimore and I'm surprised you'd put the 2012 Ravens on the list over the 2000 Ravens. While our defense was top tier, the team went several weeks without an offensive touchdown. We won on Matt Stover field goals and defensive scores. Trent Dilfer was our Super Bowl QB. So yeah, I'd expect them to be here, not the 2012 team.
Yeah this guy's an idiot..

Chiefs fan here. Agree on the '03 comparison to our season this year.
Tuck rule was a bad call.
The cringe on defending Brady’s fumble though.
I bet you think Jesse James was called correctly too
@ nope. Steelers got screwed on that and should’ve got the one seed. Tuck rule was a dumb rule but it was a rule from 1999-2013. It’s basically saying that a pump fake still counts as a forward pass. Is it stupid? 100 billion percent. Is it correct? Yes.

All he brought up were the drops. Once they stopped dropping the ball, they dominated.
The Mecole fumble is only Andy to blame for going back to him after he already fumbled once before that, he’s a very overrated coach big time choker that was on the hot seat before Mahomes came in. And they had the worst WR group in the NFL.
That SB run was all Mahomes Kelce and Spagnuolo

as a giants fan, while it was fun watching them win twice of course, the more distance from that era i get and the more i think about it the thing that sticks with me is how often they didnt play up to potential.
the same might true for other teams on this list, i dont know as i didnt follow them closely enough to know, but what qualifies these 2 giants teams, esp 2011, for this list isnt that they werent good teams so much as they were prone to constantly screwing around and loosing games they should have won. truthfully, this is probably because they were poorly coached.
and in many years (09, 10, 12, 13) this kept them from even being in the playoffs.
the luckiest moment of the 2011 run is all but forgotten- JPP blocked a last second field goal versus dallas in something like week 14 or 15. he doesnt block that kick the giants are home on the couch watching the playoffs, having again lost a key late season game they should have won.

If the 13 team won would it be better?

As a Ravens fan, I'll happily take a mediocre regular season team that heats up in the playoffs over a dominant regular season team that cools down in the big moments. Regular season Lamar and post season Flacco would be unstoppable.
Flacco was good all around. I dont understand why he has people that think he wasnt any good until the playoffs. He still had to help the team qualify to get in the tournament. I made a video in 11 called ravens rap that said flacco was gonna win the super bowl. Then he did.

Not a Lions fan, but damn do I feel bad for their fans. Survived 50+ years of crap & an 0-16 season. Earned the #1 seed only to get dick-punched by a rookie QB at home.
I do as well. Though most of their defensive players were hurt.
It felt good to watch. Amon Ra talked mad shit all year. They played all gas no brakes which led to injuries. All the media love made their fanbase unbearable. They started acting like 90s Cowboys fans
Really good regular season but unfortunately a one and done
It's not about how you start, but how you finish that matters. Like you said with the 88 Niners, they got their shit together and finished the season 10-6 and winning the Super Bowl. They finished strong.
Same with 2023 Chiefs, 2007 & 2011 Giants, etc.
Up till the 00s the game ended on a fg
As a giants fan this guy is the biggest hater prob a birds fan 😂

2023 Chiefs were better at the opponent's home field (8-2, including playoffs) than at home (5-4, including playoffs). The SB and the regular season "home" game overseas against the Dolphins, both wins, were on neutral sites.
@erikbunty2016 I think the 2023 Chiefs Post season and road performance definitely rounds out the current Chiefs dynasty.

As a Packers fan, I’m kind of surprised the 2010 Packers missed this due how much of a long shot we were to win along with our defensive struggles despite still being clutch when it mattered
Side note: Did the defense regress in 2011?
I sometimes wonder how things would be if the NFL was like a soccer league where the champion is just the team with the best record
Then you would have teams with easy schedules win because they didn't have to face anyone good.
Exactly. Impossible to do unless each team played 31 games
like Abraham Lincoln once said... "id rather be a lucky winner than an unlucky loser" ...
better to be the worse team to win, than the best team to lose.
Add 2024 Chiefs if we three-peat!
2003 Patriots give me severe deja vu for Chiefs this season.
Campbell and Goff Eiffel Towered my perfect bracket last night
@@ArcanumAscentEli was not a special or even good quarterback at any other time in his career.
@@Marquishimo 7th on the all time passing list on the day he retired, but sure.
@@Marquishimo ignore him doesn't know what he is saying
Idk if the 2003 pats claim makes sense. You said they were a bad team because they primarily won due to their 1st-ranked defense helped by strong special teams. Defense and special teams are a big part of the team.
top 10 best nfl super bowl winning teams ?
It’s hard to believe now, but People forget that in 2002-2005, Brady was hardly the superstar. In fact, at the time in 2002, most people in Boston area wanted Drew Bledsoe back. He was effective, a cut above a game manager, but thanks to a great Defense he won. But Pretty much every great QB followed this path of development (xcept Kurt Warner & Marino)
Then enter Randy Moss…..
1987 Washington deserves an honorable mention. Another textbook example of a good but unremarkable team getting every break to fall their way.
Kick rocks Bronco fan 😂
@youknowwhatdaysayinhoe5646 Packers fan, actually, but go off I guess.
@@mrcnub Bam-Bam! 💥😜
There was no way that the Chiefs were going to lose the Taylor Swift Bowl last year! Lol!🎉😂
If the giants rings are flukes then what was the eagles only ring? That 2017 divisional round qb graphic really does say it all
He is an Eagles fan, rivals talk shit it's what division rivals do
You kidding?
At least we don't have to hear about Barry hating on the Vikings for this one.
I still don’t get why people say the patriots were “bailed” in the 2018 afc championship. He was offsides. They weren’t bailed the other team just made a mistake
