Thoroughly enjoyed your video, and motivated me to organise my garage a bit more and do some more metal work. why don't you open up the Dewalt now and take the 3 speeds switch and the trigger switch and move them to the steering bar and maybe move the battery pack to somewhere in the meddle and make part 2 vedio for us ;)

Commercial paint booth, Oodles of sprockets, motors specialized hardware, Mig welder. Thousands of dollars of odds and ends. Your not that old sir to have accumulated that much, but you seem like your Chinese and they are the manufacturers of the world and I imagine there's an oasis of honey hole dumpster diving paradise in China. Just ripe for the taking. You are blessed with great skills though.

Excellent! DeWalt has an even more powerful 1/2" drill motor for driving big auger bits. You should try putting one of those on it.

I don't think that brush motor will last long since they're not designed for running continuously. But still, nice build and stay awesome! :)
You'll just have to replace the brushes once in a while. Electric mobility scooters also use brushes dc motors.
better to replace the gears rather than the "motor"
