I love, love this and always want to make or buy it myself. But for the poor and non technical among us: the amount of cargo you can carry on a normal city bike with luggage racks back and front is just as much and even larger than with these kind of add-ons or bike trailers or dedicated cargo bikes. On the back carrier rack you hang large side bags (the kind that are used to deliver newspapers), a large crate on top of the rack and also a large crate on the front carrier rack. (I live in the Netherlands where most traditional bikes have standard carrier racks front and back.) I fasten and secure everything with old inner tubes, which are basically giant elastic bands and you can use them for everything. If I need to carry even more stuff I use a hand truck/trolley as bike trailer and an inner tube as trailer hitch tied to my back carrier. It works. It is amazing how much I can transport with this simple set-up. I even used an inner tube to stabilize my front wheel (preventing the wheel to flip to one side when parked and/or is heavily loaded). Transporting long materials like timber or pipes: I use two inner tubes as loops, one attached to the back rack the other either hanging from the handlebar or over my shoulder like a handbag, then hang the load in the loops.
Yes - I also use old inner tubes for outdoor exercise - wrap around street poles - do butterfly-pull upper-arm exercises etc while out jogging/walking/cycling. Use the same ones (different sizes/widths) to secure stuff on rear bike racks. Most EV /ebike/escooter video sites and reviewers seem to hate even talking about the whole subject of luggage and load-carrying. And how often do we have to see idiots ebiking or escooting around with little or big back-packs stupidly weighing on their shoulders and their spines because - hey - racks, baskets, bags etc hanging on or attached to the bike/escooter LOOK SO UN-COOL, right?

Nice but some tips from a builder..
Put spacer sleeves between bearings.
Use hardened shank bolts for any axle.
Use dampers for non suspended pivot loads.
😳 WOW 🤔 This is just the idea I had in mind but with out having the basket hooked on to it!🤨So now you gave me just the right way to go about making a two front wheeler attachment 😉👍.So I can go from two wheels to a three wheeler.😳👏👏👏 Making it your way even takes less metal material and welding to make then all the other TH-cam videos I have looked at on here 😉👍.

Só me restou uma dúvida.🤔 Vc colocou 04 baterias sendo que ligou 02 + 02 em série fazendo dois blocos de 13,6v e depois os ligou em paralelo, conseguindo 27 volts com o dobro da amperagem. Logo em seguida, vc ligou a entrada do plug ac (110v) direto nas baterias? Vai dar certo na hora de recarregar?

Since the end pivot points are inside the wheel vertical center line....when the frame tilts the tires will scrub laterally and then again in the opposite direction tiling back to upright neutral... Have u found this noticeable or objection able slow speed, high speed, or during a slalom...???

That is brilliant, and a good product to bring to market, if people just only need to remove a front wheel of their ebike and add on the cart to make a Cargo Trike whenever they need it

@@fawabros I knew you where selling this one. There are a few companies that make cargo bikes with two wheels up front. They don't turn the two front wheels into a hand cart, though, that's pretty unique.

It looks like a simple design, but the front wheels need fastened on both sides to keep the axle from bending. You need crimp on or solder connections for the batteries, as there's a risk of fire from the twisted together wires.
Otherwise it's not bad.

I would also have fabbed an adjuster for the chain tension, but yeah, not bad.
3/8 axels will tend to bend but with the two it should help, something like this using 14mm bmx axles would be more load and abuse bearing.
