Great advice guys. From someone who has travelled all over the world things definately dont always go to plan. Dont stress. Take it as part of the adventure. My only other advice is always have back up plan for money. You never know when things go to hell which you havent planned for. Ie. We were in Japan when covid hit. Flight got cancelled and we were left stranded. Yes our airline just left us high and dry. Our travel insurance wouldnt cover us for new flights. We had to buy new flights to get home before the border closed. Wasnt cheap. Glad we had the funds to had over thousands for new flights. Oh and another one. Have a secondary card to access money from ATM. Hubbies card got swallowed by ATM in Hong Kong. We always have his card, mine and another. All for different accounts can always transfer money between accounts. And one more. Credit cards. To this day, i dont know why our credit cards wont allow us to book flights when overseas. Even the bank doesnt. We can pay for food, hotels etc but not flights. We got caught out. We now have another card from a different bank which works a treat. Happy travels everyone.
