Lovely to see another video of yours. Not only are you a fantastic couple but great eaters as well. Btw, Paczki Day ( Fat Thursday) it is like Pancake Day in Britain and marks the end of carnival and beginning of Lent. Cheers
I've ever only eaten plain obwarzanek and it's mostly cold but *fresh* . It was always a good, cheap option you could just eat anywhere on a go. It feels you up pretty nicely until you have time to sit down to eat something better. But also, I would definitely have something sweet to drink with it.
So ... Pączek was with Rose jam most likely and its a most classic version. And yes we eat them on Fat Thursday and we also eat Faworki ont this day. Zapiekanka with cheese and mushrooms, classic again 😋 Pierogi, the ones you had were called Pierogi Ruskie. Pierogi z serem (with cheese) are different. It's confusing as both are with cheese however Ruskie are sour/salty and the one called with cheese are sweet. 😁 Regarding prices just remember you are in the one of most expensive cities in Poland:) It is a great content you creating love watching you 💕
Ah thank you! We are so happy you watched and enjoyed it, we really loved all the food. Thanks so much for the info too 👍 we couldn’t figure out the flavour of the jam, so thanks for letting us know it was Rose. ❤️
Another great day, smiley and joyful Irish folks stuffing their faces with absolutely deliciously looking food 🤩🤩 I can see your trip to Poland is getting longer and longer 😂😂😂 Keep going guys 💪👍 Regards.
Thank you for showing me my hometown. I grew up in there and miss those flavours. So...obwarzanek we eat plain as a snack. Originally from Kraków. It has long tradition. Pączek you had is probably with rose petals marmalade as its traditional Polish filing but the traditional one has icing and sweet orange peel on the top . Dumplings are made with white cheese ( thicker than cream cheese) and boiled potatoes. You made me feel need to go back for a dinner there. I'm glad you liked it. I enjoyed it with you 😄 and defo subscribed. You remind me my childhood flavours 😍x
Love you guys🥰. Cant wait for beer test🍻..your polish is so english and it is so funny😂,cant wait for another video, keep in touch👍enjoy poland🇵🇱... Sorry but my english is polish like your polish is english😅
10:00 yes those are mostly sold hot, and when they are hot taste is just amazing! Especially with coffee ....shared 50/50 with your beloved one. I know in England you eat chips with coffee😄
Obwarzanki actually come from Kraków, usually you just buy one and split it part by part and eat on the go (depends on the person tho, you do you 😉). Traditional ones are with poppy seeds but I would say the best ones are with the cheese, the "blandness" is not a problem with them imo. And to answer why we usually eat them plain is that, well, Polish people generally love bread XD
Ah ok, thanks for letting us know! We heard they are better in Krakow and maybe the one we ate was a little stale due to the hardness, it was also suggested to eat them fresh and warm
Haha thanks Brenda, the food was delicious but a lot to eat in one day 🤣 the snow was getting so heavy it was nice to have a few minutes of calm 😊 didn’t last long tho 🤣

Obwarzanek just plain and cold ;) and oscypki are the Best 😍 Yes traditional zapiekanka is just with muschrooms and chees. Paczki day = fat thursday:) omg kwasnica 🥰
Hi guys! It's so nice seeing you again! With "traditional" polish food it depends of the area you are in at the moment. If you'll ask about our typical food each person will name different dish :) I'm from Silesia and would never say "pierogi" are traditional for me :) Have fun in here and hope to see more of you anytime soon :)
Hi there 👋 thanks so much for watching, we are learning more and more about the regions of Poland and their Food. As you say, what is traditional polish food might not be so traditional in other parts of Poland. Someone also said the OSCYPEK is not the same now as it would be in summer too, so learning all the time. One thing we would say is the foods are really really tasty 😋
Śliwowica originally comes from Bulgaria, but we have to also in Poland . Śliwowica oryginalnie pochodzi z Bułgarii. Oczywiście jest też i w Polsce . Chyba Siwucha to pochodzi bardziej z południa Polski .
18:30 The correct pronunciation of the word pączki in Polish can be phonetically transcribed in English as Pohnch-kee. The ogonek "a", ą, produces an "ohn" sound that is pronounced similarly to a nasal "n" as pronounced in the French language. Pączki (or Paczki, as often written in English) are a type of Polish pastry that are filled with cream or confiture. Pączki are made of deep-fried dough in a circular or spherical shape and then filled. They are similar to doughnuts or German berliners, but they differ in the composition of their dough, which is much richer, containing yeast, eggs, butter, alcohol and sugar. In Poland they are prepared especially on Fat Thursday, to celebrate Carnival, while in Polish communities in the US, they are prepared for Fat Tuesday and is called Pączki Day. Pączki is the plural form of the word, while pączek is singular. Often, outside of Poland, pączki is mistakenly used as both the singular and plural form. Furthermore, it is often written as "paczki", without the ogonek (eg. ą) on the "a". The problem is that paczki written in this way is actually means "packages" in Polish. The word pączek derives from the diminutive form of the word pąk, which in Polish means "bud", signifying the form of pączki and their filling.
Oh wow thanks for all that information ☺️ and helping us to pronounce it the right way 😀 we will definitely be trying more of them and of course taking part in fat Thursday just so we can try loads 😍😋🤣 thanks for your comment and thanks for watching 😊
You eat OBWARZANEK just like that. It tastes much better in summertime. It has specific yummy aroma as well. Now you have to come back to Poland in summer to taste it again!!!!

Thanks Caroline, the food was delicious, we were in a food coma when we got back to the hotel 😴 but it was all worth it ❤️ the little kid was so cute, so nice of him to come say hello
And now, we are on the lookout for the gym! Love your sense of humour, Caolan!😆😁👍👏👌
Haha thank you! We definitely needed a gym after all that food 🤣
Watching you guys always puts a big smile on my face. Glad you enjoy my homeland
That’s so nice, thank you! We really love it here ❤️🇵🇱
Vege? Try soup coled żurek. Have you ever tried potato or kielbasa from bonefire? Best food when you are outside.
Oh wow thanks for the tip!
No we haven’t tried from bonefire yet, it sounds like it would be delicious
I had to split watching this video over two days. Too much of a torture watching you guys eat all this delicious food. 😆
Seriously though, it all looked great!
And how nice for the young boy and then the couple to stop and chat with you to let you know that they enjoy your channel so much!
Haha we don’t blame you 🤣 it’s a lot of food, but it really was delicious 😋

Thank you so much, we are so happy you enjoyed it ✌️
I'm just hoping one day you visit my beloved Silesia, the industrial heart of Poland, and also some other regions maybe? Cheers guys!
Ah thank you for the recommendation, sadly our next video will be our last from Zakopane, we will be moving into different parts of Poland in the next few weeks.
It's great that you have tried these regional dishes, but there are also other flavors in Poland, when you will be with us in summer, try the summer dishes that will surely taste for you. Best regards, as always, a good movie
awh thank you! we really have become fans of polish food, so we are always looking for more recommendations, we have so many reasons to return to Poland in summer 😍😍😍
Polecam baseny termalne w Bukowinie Tatrzanskiej. Pozdrawiam serdecznie:)
dziękuję za rekomendację ❤️❤️❤️
Ohhhhhhh YESSSSSSS 👍
Lovely to see another video of yours. Not only are you a fantastic couple but great eaters as well.
Btw, Paczki Day ( Fat Thursday) it is like Pancake Day in Britain and marks the end of carnival and beginning of Lent. Cheers
Ah thanks so much, your so kind to say that about our videos, we really appreciate that ❤️ thanks for letting us know about Fat Thursday 🙏
Not sure if this has been said, but the filling in a doughnut was probably a rose :) Awesome videos guys!! Keep them coming!
Thanks so much for letting us know, we couldn’t make it out 😋 but it was so tasty, we loved it 😍
I've ever only eaten plain obwarzanek and it's mostly cold but *fresh* .
Zapiekanka with cheese and mushrooms, classic again 😋
Pierogi, the ones you had were called Pierogi Ruskie. Pierogi z serem (with cheese) are different. It's confusing as both are with cheese however Ruskie are sour/salty and the one called with cheese are sweet. 😁
Regarding prices just remember you are in the one of most expensive cities in Poland:)
It is a great content you creating love watching you 💕
Oh yeah 20zł for coffee... was painful to watch 😳😂
Ah thank you! We are so happy you watched and enjoyed it, we really loved all the food. Thanks so much for the info too 👍 we couldn’t figure out the flavour of the jam, so thanks for letting us know it was Rose. ❤️
@@pawel98123 20zl for Two coffees, so 10zl each, is that bad???
@@GoTimeTravels very good price especially in Zakopane 🙂
BTW Ruskie means Russian :)
Another great day, smiley and joyful Irish folks stuffing their faces with absolutely deliciously looking food 🤩🤩
I can see your trip to Poland is getting longer and longer 😂😂😂
Keep going guys 💪👍
Regards.
Haha we just can’t leave 🤣 we love it so much ❤️ thanks so much for watching and your lovely kind words about our video, it means a lot to us 🙏
@@GoTimeTravels Don't leave then! Stay!
Jesteście wspaniali...Pozdrawiam.
dziękuję, to takie miłe ❤️
Ohhh u two looks very happy.. Trying some yummy foods.. Stay warm Poland is freezing...

Cheers Adrian ❤️ our pleasure, so glad you enjoy our video, really appreciate it ✌️
Jak zawsze uśmiechnięci;-) Miło Was zobaczyć ponownie. ❤️❤️
Ahh thank you 😊 thanks for watching we really appreciate it ❤️
10:00 yes those are mostly sold hot, and when they are hot taste is just amazing! Especially with coffee ....shared 50/50 with your beloved one. I know in England you eat chips with coffee😄
Maybe warm them next time ? I don't know if microwaves are very commonly found there .
Great video guys, we had great craic watching yis tonight 😀 👍
😂😂 ahh thanks Wayne 😀 really glad yous enjoyed it ❤️
It's great ! I just love what you do, and the way you do it 😀❤. Please come to visit Warmia and Mazury region. It's really beautiful.

Poland- food- snow! Thumb up!
Awh thank you 🙏
You gave me an appetite:)
😊😊😊
12.12 - this place looks worth a try. Śliwowica is local strong distillate made of plums 😋 warms you up like a charm
Welcome to Poland 🖐🏻😀
I hope you liked Poland and you liked the food and you will remember it with pleasure 😉
Best regards 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻
You eat OBWARZANEK just like that. It tastes much better in summertime. It has specific yummy aroma as well. Now you have to come back to Poland in summer to taste it again!!!!
oh wow, thanks so much for letting us know, we thought we were eating it wrong ☺️ now we definitely have to return in summer 😍
It’s customary to eat a lot of sweets on Fat Thursday which is the last Thursday before Ash Wednesday when Lent starts 😊
Sounds amazing 🤩
We couldn’t agree more ❤️🇵🇱
Hello, really great video. I believe that it is very poetic to taste Polish food freely on the snowy street.
