I love the roxon the ks2 elite not only changed the blade to d2 but with a diverence of about 10$ you get the drive kit and they also changed the rest of the steels on the ks2 as well. Ks2 5cr15 for the blade 3cr13 the rest the ks2 elite d2 blade driver is 5cr15 the rest is din. 1.4116 (close to 420 stainless)
Keep it coming. I own a roxxon multi tool (one of its early ones). While it’s got a lot of options, the hinges and frame feel like it’s made of mild steel and none too robust.
@@urbanknifeguy yes although it’s not really possible to open it, one handed too easily. I had to go on eBay and I found a metal thumb stud that screws into the side of the blade where the cut out is.
Yes you are right. I meant Super Tinker. The reason I said Hiker was because I think of Climber which is the scissors and Corkscrew and always automatically think the "brother" is the Hiker 🤣

Why can’t these expensive multitool brands make good large scissors?
Good question.
Thank you for the feature!☺
thanks for showing
Thanks for watching! 😁
I almost got the Roxon and I did get the Gerber, which I am currently getting ready to return because I just couldn’t get into it like most people
Thanks for sharing!
@@urbanknifeguy I ended up returning it and grabbed the Leatherman Free T4
@Marlevlyn Do you like the Free T4?

@Marlevlyn OK thanks!
The Victorinox ‘hiker’ is a ‘tinker’ with a saw added unless the name ‘hiker’ is given to a different model in your area.

@@urbanknifeguythe closest comparison to the Roxon KS2 would be the Victorinox Fieldmaster, since both have a saw. Not the Hiker nor the Super Tinker
@AlexBurgueno Thanks!
Great Comparison 😎
Thank you and thanks for watching!
You didn’t show the saw, glass breaker or ruler on the KS2 its a great tool
You are right! 🤣 And it is a great tool!
Roxon ks2 elite is fantastic. One of the best multi tool ever.
Indeed! Thanks!
I wish the ROXON came in different colors
Maybe as it gets more popular
Gerber design and workmanship is good but their quality in steel materials and sharpness sucks.
