People forget that the more powerful PC you have the more power consumption that it needs, so your electricity bill will be much higher. My mate downgarded because he had like 200 quid extra on his bill - he went two 780ti's to 760. Worth it imo. People need to remember, just a heads up
***** Yeah, I realized, so I'm sticking with my 760. So far since I commented this, he's worked out that his monthly bill has decreased 8-11%, not much - but it's savings and with his job and everything I think it was worth it. Btw ***** Thanks for all the calculations and evidence! Much love.
i just wanna poke some fun i was watching the video the whole time but i was staring at his TV and its like he is talking to his self lol......#i like to have fun
Let's be honest. PC gamers spend more time talking about what they have, rather than what they play. I get made fun of for choosing to keep my GTX 660 from 2012 and my i5 3570k. I could list more details, but I won't. PC gaming is really less about gaming and more about what temporary awesome card you can flaunt for 8 months. It's really not intelligent shopping when you think about it.
Yeah you're right. Although I think it's because the PC gaming arena has kind of joined with the Hardware enthusiast arena mainly because for people who are just into hardware for fun but won't really admit it its kind of like an excuse for collecting parts. Well that's what I think anyway
i agree lots but it really does depend on what type of person you are. some people are hardcore gamers with all the latest alien ware gear and all that fun stuff (alien wares are a waste of money you pay for the fancy lights). but some people are performance enthusiasts and some tinkerers and most of the time all of these in one. you do get sucked into the big "OH MY FUCKING GOD THIS GRAPHICS CARD HAS 2 BILLION GHZ STOCK CLOCK AND IT WILL MAKE YOUR GAMES RUN BETTER! (and set you back £/$1000 but it only will affect your frame rate and graphics by 2%)" but if your like me then we just like to buy good components, tweak the settings to fit your play style and then... PLAY this is what games are about. having fun. not crying because your friend has a better pc than you. Jesus that's a lot of words
jamesthegreat1234567 My PC from 2012 is still relevant. I choose to use it to dual boot Ubuntu alongside Windows 7 now and I'm trying to get into HTML coding. So I have no need to get the best card right now. Gaming is a hobby I see dying out soon. It will come back when the economy resolves itself(which I doubt)
Im gonna be running a AMD fx 6300and its one of the best bang for your buck and decebtky future proofing cpus out there. Not to mention, its unlocked and can easily be oberclocked to 4.5 or higher GH.
I am going to switch to Pc gaming very soon! At first I was thinking of going for something cheep(£600-£750) Knowing that that will run most of the games I want at medium to high settings. Then after thinking about if for a few days I decided that I want to expand my budget and Go for something 'Bigger'. I decided to go big and Get a I5 4670k And A GTX 780 Ti So I can run 3 monitors and any game at high settings. Do you Guys think this Is a good idea? Or should I go a bit cheaper? I Will also be using this Pc for video editing and School/Work. I will most likely be picking up another 780 Ti in a few months Just to Completely Make a over kill Pc
I built My pc yesterday. I went with a GTX 780ti and i5 4670k. But I will not be getting another one after seeing the performance I got. My motherboard came with watchdogs So I gave it a try and It ran ultra settings with no problems.
u should talk about the geforce experience app... makes almost every popular game at highest optimal settings for ur rig... im sure u know this but im leaving his comment for u and others as welll... it makes it just liek a console no friggin around

Noah Lefebvre Dont worry after i watches this video i saw some videos of my phantom 820 White and many said that its the best gaming pc they have ever bought an i tried a couple of games like assassins creed syndicate, battlefield 4 and call of duty black ops 2 so i maxed them out and i played call of duty black ops 2 with 80 fps, battlefield 4 with 90 fps and assassins creed syndicate with 70 fps, but all of them had stable fps. Also the some of the specs that i know are that the graphics card is called invidia gtx 980 Ti, the processor is called intel core i7 5960x, it has 2TB hard drive,16GB of Ram and its operating system is windows 10 (64-bit)
how much should you spend on a gaming pc ? well 1. some have a high budget , and some have less 2. there are " perfectionists" that gladly spend 500 extra bucks to get 5 FPS more. 3, you have people that know how to build a cheap and good pc, and you have those who just puts a machine together without any thought. so your question " how much should you spend on a gaming pc is not to easy to answer. But one thing is sure. Don`t buy pre built one :P
I'm one of those perfectionists. I don't care that much about FPS, but the looks of the PC is more important. I ordered a PC that has i5-6600k, 16GB ram and GTX 1060 in it, and it cost 1300€, but I spent extra 250€ to LED's, modular PSU, custom sleeved cables and nice case.
Wuuii Well if you are spending more than 1k on your rig, 40 bucks won't make much difference. 16GB of RAM doesn't make much difference on a rig below 1k
What parts should I buy for 1000$? I really want to play GTA V and The witcher 3 on it and some other games aswell (obviously) At decent high graphics too! I can save like 100$ more dollars or so if I need to.
+PC Centric bro help me. Thinking about to build a new gaming pc. Here it is-: Gpu- Msi Gtx 970 4gb Ram- G.skill 2x 4gb ddr4 Mobo- Asus H110M-c Cpu - Intel core i5 6500 Hdd - Western Digital 1tb Psu - Corsair vs550 Case - Corsair spec- 01 Monitor - Asus vx229h Now I have put the all details of my pc. Now please tell me,, Does it really worth it???
It's a decent PC. I would add an SSD to it, so the PC would run much smoothly. Also adding little bit more money on PSU will be worth it, because Corsair VS PSU's aren't even +80 bronze certified, so it can break more easily. Go for EVGA 600B. I also noticed that you commented about 1 month ago, so I would rather get RX 480 or GTX 1060 as GPU, because they cost the same and performs little bit better.
Fahim Srz RX 480 is a great choice. I ordered my first PC about a month ago, and I got Asus Strix GTX 1060 OC, because it looks nicer than other 1060's with my white-blue setup.
Will my CPU bottleneck my GPU, or will my GPU bottleneck my CPU? I'm kinda new to this, someone please help me! I'm getting it soon and want to know if these parts are worth it! :) CPU: Intel Core i7 4790K GPU: EVGA GTX 970 4GB Also I will have 16GB DDR3 1866MHz, I don't know if that'll affect anything though... Please help!
Why are people like this even trying to build PCs? 16gb of ram? i7 overclocked? Based on this, why even get a high end GPU? Might as well get a mid range that can max 1080p
LOL my 2best friends have so strange PCs. one has a SuperFabProccersor and im mean good but pretty shit Grafic's card. The other one have a great Grafic's Card that run every thing at 1080p but has like 30-40fps.
+Cameron Kendal It depends on yourself really. If you would mind playing games on 720p you could get away with like a 600 dollar build. If you want full 1080p on high to ultra settings 960 will definitely do that. I would recommend building a pc instead of buying a prebuilt. Saves a ton of money and gets more bang for your buck!
+LanternBox Because the difference between I5 and I7 is that I7 has hyper threading and that only improoves multi tasking performance, and does not affect gaming unless you do like straming while you export a video while gaming. Thats when a lots of cores and hyper threading matter.
www.pcper.com/news/Processors/Far-Cry-4-Does-Not-Support-Dual-Core-Processors-Budget-Landscape-Shifting " Far Cry 4 won't even open with a dual-core CPU installed, and while the game will load when using dual-core CPU's with hyper-threading enabled (for 4 total "cores") the performance isn't very good". Which is a lie. www.techspot.com/review/917-far-cry-4-benchmarks/page5.html I3 3220 gets higher than all AMD chips with 4+ cores.
instead of buying monster PCs just buy an Xbox one S or wait some time and buy Xbox Scorpio If you want to play multi-player more then buy Xbox if you do not play multi-player then buy ps4 or after some time ps5 because Xbox live is better
Im so confused every guy in there gameing pc vidios talk with weird name like cpu and stuff like thta, im new to pc gameing so im not sure about all them names
i found one that has 8gb ram 4.0 ghz cpu what ever than means and actually i will just copy and paste. AMD A4-7300 4.0GHZ TURBO 3.8GHZ DUAL CORE 64bit GAMING CPU AMD Radeon HD 8470D GAMING Graphics GPU (Direct X 11) if u cant understand that its ment to be pretty good apparently u can rung games at 1080p with 60 fps and its only $400 dollars australian. (im from australia)
You are a good You Tuber, and your videos have merit. But you are starting to repeat yourself. Your videos seem very similar. Maybe time to change up your approach, try some new ideas...
Im saving for a that cost 5000kr. its like $320 or 480euro. Im mostly just gonna play CounterStrike Global Offensive. but also games like PayDay2 and FarCry4. link here www.netonnet.se/art/dator/stationar-dator/desktop/hp-pavilion500-314no/206663.3012/ BTW Hårdisk is HardDrive and GrafikKort is GraficsCard Minne is Memory
Get a PC that has i5-6600k or i7-6700k, 16GB ram (2x8GB) and GTX 1000-series graphics card in it. GTX 1060 will run games on 1080p 60fps, GTX 1070 average for 2k gaming, and GTX 1080 is good for 2k gaming and average for 4k.
I'm looking to get into PC gaming, however I'm completely new to this and I have no idea what parts to pick. Someone sent me a build for almost $600 and i was wandering if someone could check this out for me and tell me if it's worth the cost: pcpartpicker.com/p/PtCwCJ ......Is it's performance fairly decent? For example, will this handle skyrim on ultra? Any help would be appreciated, as I am truly naive when it comes to PC gaming.
+quest 8899 PC has the most and the best exclusive games out of any console. I'm not saying console exclusives are bad, just look at Uncharted and The Last Of Us, PC just has so much more brilliant exclusive games, hell, some of them are free for fuck's sake!

You seem to cover way too much Intel, give AMD it's credit!
First time I've heard that, interesting opinion! :)
Are you talking to yourself?
CPU don't really bottle neck these days. Due Maxwell Architecture.
is a 4 gen i7 4770k and a msi gtx 760 good balaced? i may upgrade the GPU later or add a second one.
The CPU is better than your GPU. Get a good fan and use crossfire
780's are way better and you should save up for it

Sapphire radeon r9 270x dual fan oc
Corsair vengeance 2x4gb sticks

I believe at this price range the AMD FX 6300 is perfect when overclocked.

TheOdinTheory for that price, it is very decent :) happy gaming ^^
it depends because some AMD CPU's are better than I5 CPU's
just do not buy 16gb ram
It's sometime pretty usefull to have 16gb ram. I sometimes use all of it while gaming and listening to music while, recording
bruh save that 40 dollors
Wuuii Well if you are spending more than 1k on your rig, 40 bucks won't make much difference. 16GB of RAM doesn't make much difference on a rig below 1k
What parts should I buy for 1000$? I really want to play GTA V and The witcher 3 on it and some other games aswell (obviously) At decent high graphics too! I can save like 100$ more dollars or so if I need to.
Try to get a i5 4690k and an r9 390 you choose the rest
+Piervittorio Ciccariello Amd sucks ass, get nvidia.
+niels nielsen omg, the r9 390 dominates the 970 with 8gb beam so stfu and research, fanboy
+niels nielsen Amds apu sucks compaired to intels atm. 390 is a better choice for the graphics card though.
+Piervittorio Ciccariello enjoy your new sauna then
If I spent $1300 would my machine be considered a monster or would I want to just in vest the extra $200 for a $1500 pc?
+SpadeGaming Could you give me the actual build? I'll tell you if its good
Decent :)
1300 is definitely enough. Maybe you could get a VR headset or a racing wheel.
yeah, cause having a intercooled, nitrous only, insane PC.....or tossing 200 for a ps4....
i just wann pc can play rollercoaster would games

Get the one that is cheaper in your country, because both of them perform similarly.
I think gaming pcs should be about $600 to $700

You'd be far better with a core i5 above 3.5 GHZ
Can someone tell me why he thinks I5 "is the way to go" and not I7??
The i7 has slightly more power than an i5, but is way more expensive. The i5 can run any game easily anyway, so the i7 isn't necessary.
+LanternBox Because the difference between I5 and I7 is that I7 has hyper threading and that only improoves multi tasking performance, and does not affect gaming unless you do like straming while you export a video while gaming. Thats when a lots of cores and hyper threading matter.
i5 is the winner based on what??
i5 is perfect for gaming. i3 is barely enough and i7 is just to much.
Travis Wallace I'd say look at the vishera CPU's from AMD the FX 6300 and above are great for gaming and much better value for money
AMD offers far better bang for your buck for gaming!
Callum Elcombe AMD Cpus fall behind and are much worse than Intel unless their new Cpus in 2016 actually improve.
www.pcper.com/news/Processors/Far-Cry-4-Does-Not-Support-Dual-Core-Processors-Budget-Landscape-Shifting
" Far Cry 4 won't even open with a dual-core CPU installed, and while the game will load when using dual-core CPU's with hyper-threading enabled (for 4 total "cores") the performance isn't very good".
Which is a lie.
www.techspot.com/review/917-far-cry-4-benchmarks/page5.html
I3 3220 gets higher than all AMD chips with 4+ cores.
instead of buying monster PCs
just buy an Xbox one S or wait some time and buy Xbox Scorpio
If you want to play multi-player more then buy Xbox if you do not play multi-player then buy ps4 or after some time ps5 because Xbox live is better
How far can I come for £1400?
***** no
I am spending around £600
Would a $1000 PC be good?
Obviously it could max 1080p games on ultra

You are a good You Tuber, and your videos have merit. But you are starting to repeat yourself. Your videos seem very similar. Maybe time to change up your approach, try some new ideas...

You should buy parts and build your own pc rather than buying a pre-made one.
Be A Pro 900 Bro im cant. How are gonna bulid it with me. :(
Why say dollars when your brittish?
Maby because there are over 300 million Americans- or in other words... 300 small loans of a million dollars!lol
I wanna buy a sexy pc that will run GTAV on high graphics when it comes out, can someone help me. my current budget is 1k-2k
You need Windows for it too. and a Micro ATX case.
+quest 8899 PC has the most and the best exclusive games out of any console. I'm not saying console exclusives are bad, just look at Uncharted and The Last Of Us, PC just has so much more brilliant exclusive games, hell, some of them are free for fuck's sake!
+NavyBurger™ Can 600 dollars run gta v on high with 60 fps?
We're could I get a i5
Can someone tell Me if my pc is ok and secondly if this website builds it for you pcpartpicker.com/parts/partlist/
I don't know if it's ok but they do not build it for you. However search on TH-cam how to build a gaming pc and you can do it yourself
mouthyman300 You did not send your build btw just a link to the website
I feel bad for saying this, I want to like you but I don't, i may like your content and not you or you and not your content, I don't really know
+Piervittorio Ciccariello There was no reason to say it lol
+TraumatisedFish I agree. Who cares? lol
+TraumatisedFish just wanted to say it, am I not allowed to talk?
Piervittorio Ciccariello You're allowed to talk, its just what you said is really unnecessary
I feel bad for saying this but your hair looks like a hat
what? lol
How much to spend on a gaming PC? Nothing! It's time to grow up and get a job!
"Look guys! The only important thing in life is work! You can never do anything fun!"
Speedswiper Look guys, the only way to have fun in life is to play video games. hahaha you need to get out more! i'll rather be out having a few drinks with friends than stuck in a room all day playing games like a little child!
Est.1886 Look guys! The idiot returns! He seems to think that he's the only one with a correct opinion!
Speedswiper hahaha what a sad existence you have! Are you one of those people who line up outside a game shop just to buy the latest release? hahaha what a loser! Grow up, meet a girl and maybe you would find out what you've been missing all your life. You should thank me, I'm introducing you to a healthier life!
Est.1886 What? Your attempt to insult me is not working. :/
Meow
