Really would not recommend wearing the Takumi sen as everyday shoes. They’re designed for racing with carbon plates and your feet will feel uncomfortable after a short while.
@@sizzlechestmcmurphy4365That's true, yet that's what most people wear them for. Convince the world to stop wearing performance shoes for casual wear then. Let me know once you've convinced THE WORLD.
@@sizzlechestmcmurphy4365 yeah, and I can get it for daily trainers like peg and 1080s, but racing shoes are really not built for stability or walking around in. You’re more likely to injure yourself. I think the host (sorry don’t know his name), is a keen runner, so I’m surprised at the advice.
@davidg61 You are 100% right. Some shoes are purpose built and for racing and training. Wearing them on a daily basis casually will feel uncomfortable and can cause feet pain or even plantar fasciitis in the long run.
Adizero SL2 is my favorite shoe that I own right now for running and walking. That includes the Mach 6, Superblast, and Neo Vista. It also seems to be really durable so far.
Adidas Adizero Adios Pro 3 Best shoe I've ever worn for just walking- spent 3 weeks in Japan and NEVER had an issue. Ignore the "pure racing only" descriptions- Sheer bliss.
I've been a sucker for the ultraboost, and blown away by the comfort of the NB rebel v4. tried them in the store for only like a 10sec period but man that is some comfy shoes. how does the rebel v4 compares to the UB 5X? haven't had a chance to try the 5X since it's not released yet in my country
I agree with you on the Rebel v4 and the SL2. Both are great shoes for summer and are stand out performers for running as well as lifestyle use. Out of all the new shoes for 2024 these were the only two I purchased so far. Both are outstanding.I am eyeballing the Hoka Mach 6 in a wide width. The new foam Hola is using on them may resolve the life expectancy
Try Altra Torin 7. My personal favorite right now and I’ve tried everything it feels like. Zero drop with a wide toebox. Much more natural spacing for your toes to splay out.
as someone who watches this channel regularly, could see the no1 coming a mile away. I love my v4. lucky i got the indigo colorway before it got sold out
Hi Hes! Are the new Ultraboost 5s in your top 5 comfiest sneakers? How do they compare to the On Cloudtilts? I really really want the latest & greatest from Adidas.
Cheaper sneakers on this list are way better value overall and possibly better sneakers in general. Rebel V4 or SL 2 the question is now:) make them in more and better colours. Pegasus is definitely out, i tried 40 and 41, 40 even better.
@heskicks 🙋🏻Would you please Review the Nike ‘Jam?’ It is the 1st Nike shoe, Specifically Designed for Breaking (for its Olympic Debut this year), and it is only 1 of 2 Nike shoes that I know of, made specifically for Dancing (the other being the Nike ‘Sesh’). I'd love to see your take on its feel/functionality in regards to Dancing (and maybe see your style in Dancing in them) 🎵🕺🏻💃🏻👟🤔🤓🖖🏼
Man, I totally agree, I bought standard 1080 based on his comparison and it's starting to rub my inside right forefoot, kinda regret it now. Maybe V4 will suit better...
@@heskicks you'd still rate the Peg 41 higher than the V5, even though they aren't as soft? I'm basically only wearing 1080 v13 now because I love how soft they are. I really want the Rebel v4 but I can't stand the paper thin tongue. Should I grab the Propel V5 or the Peg 41 if I'm specifically looking for comfort and softness of the mid-sole?
@@Markus56165if you love soft midsoles, pickup the More v5. Mine just came in from Running warehouse yesterday. Huge stack and very soft. A little more stable than the 1080v13.
They are all 100% running shoes with that ridiculous Stack Hight that besides a marathon, you could only wear them to a the gym, but you are going to look like you have elevator shoes for short men.😅
Stack height isn't an issue. But probably not that wise to wear a high heel to toe drop shoe all the time. I only wear sneakers and switch between zero drop, medium and high drop shoes.

This channel recommends a LOT of purpose-built performance running shoes as "casual/lifestyle" shoes... It's not good advice at all.

I like the rebel v4 but I wished new balance had better colorways

Issues I've experienced in the past with Hoka's Eva foam going dead after only 100 miles.

Escalante are also great. Though I preferred the 2.5s to the 3s I just picked up cos 2.5s felt softer

I cant feel the softness in pegasus 41, so stiff at midfoot area like walking on the hard wood
I tried the 40s and felt that way. So hard and stiff. These look better but haven't tried them. Maybe when they go on sale next year haha.
What would be your top pick for jobs that require walking all day?

try the adidas adios 8 for a good lightweight one
I dont get why he has the wide version of the Rebel, my foot is swimming in them! But the 1080s are tight (Hes gets the standard version of those)
Don't know about rebel but my standard EU45 feels tight on 1080. Half number more would be wiser
