Hi, yeah same here. Tbh, I didn’t even qualify back then, I really had to up my hours. But yeah it’s crazy now. Alhamdulillah for a wage increase and now we would still have been fine on my income. Those who applied before the increase are lucky this does not apply to them but those applying for their entry visas, I really don’t envy them. If I didn’t meet the income threshold, I don’t think I would have been able to marry abroad. It really is unfair.

@@nasarmahmood563 wa alaykum salam, the application was submitted end of January and biometric appt few days after beginning of February then we got the visa granted 2 weeks ago literally took 3 months.

When I applied for extension of the visa 2 years ago there was a priority option and I was able to get my residence permit in 3 days. Wondering if that’s still available for ILR?

You say it must of been hard to reach the £18k threshold, that is simply not true as it's well below the national average, the threshold had to raise because it was far too low.
If you showed £18,600 on your first entry visa application, then you will need to show £18,600 on the ILR but please double check this in case of any changes by the time of your application

Hi, yes priority services are still available but you have to apply at like 12/1am for them to appear.

People have different circumstances. Not everyone is able to work full time either so for those families it was hard.
