That ending doesn't exist. Ciri leaves after a short while too in that ending. So it's leaving to rule or leaving to hunt. In the case of ruling she chose to be an empress. In the Witcher Ciri ending you force her to be a Witcher, because if she had the choice she'd choose Empress. It's the same as The Last Wish.

this is the best ending, and also the one needs more requirements. since this ending also impact other people like Roche. and also base on the anwsers O'Dimm gived you how to help Ciri, which at the end he said never let her felt you sold her out, which is the main differece between witcher ending and empress ending. If O'Dimm can foreseen the future,which means the game confirms the Empress ending is the true ending for Ciri.
When the choice of whether going to Velen or to the Emperor, choose “Velen can wait”. Also, you have to end up with at least 3/4 “good” choices in order for her to become Empress.

Thing is, Dandelion's epilogue with the Empress choice reveals she makes for an apt leader, due in part to her Witcher pragmatism and good heart, which aids in the mending of relations between the Empire and remaining countries. I don't think Ciri would be interested in ruling for long; I'd give her 5 years. That'd be enough time to really get the ball rolling on trade and diplomacy, and she'd still be able to take up the Path while still in her twenties. Hell, if she were to appear among the people as The Witcheress Empress, killing monsters and taking an active role in defending the peace she established prior as ruler, I can't see the Continent doing anything other than adoring her, as it should be.

If O'Dimm can foreseen the future,which means the game confirms the Empress ending is the true ending for Ciri.

When the choice of whether going to Velen or to the Emperor, choose “Velen can wait”. Also, you have to end up with at least 3/4 “good” choices in order for her to become Empress.

She follows the Path by herself. Have any of u played Blood & Wine? She goes to visit him at the end. If u have the witcher ending, u realize that she has been traveling by herself.Geralt is relieved that shes not being treated badly by ppl. If you got this ending, she talks about the relationship with her father. And how shes learning about being an empress and is worried about being a good queen. Honestly, what is she doing fighting monsters in no name villages when she can snap her fingers and destroy them.

Best ending? Bah! As empress she will be in constant danger. Empires and rulers were born to fall and be killed in this world. My Ciri’s will never be empress. This ending is more bittersweet than anything.
What could be more dangerous than being chased by the Wild Hunt? Empress life will be a cakewalk.

Funny since it seems in this ending she understands her duty and kinda gives into it with regret. And in the witcher ending she seems to have no regrets what so ever. That was what Ciri wanted in the end. To be free of Wild Hunt and to be free to make up her own destiny for a change. She is free so that will always resonate with me more than the empress ending. Ciri doesn’t live for power and riches as you describe. ☝️

Thing is, Dandelion's epilogue with the Empress choice reveals she makes for an apt leader, due in part to her Witcher pragmatism and good heart, which aids in the mending of relations between the Empire and remaining countries.
I don't think Ciri would be interested in ruling for long; I'd give her 5 years. That'd be enough time to really get the ball rolling on trade and diplomacy, and she'd still be able to take up the Path while still in her twenties.
Hell, if she were to appear among the people as The Witcheress Empress, killing monsters and taking an active role in defending the peace she established prior as ruler, I can't see the Continent doing anything other than adoring her, as it should be.
Why cant she take the thrown and train as a witcher at the same time? Royalty have a long history of military service doesn't seem so different.

Well, witchers are sterile. They can't have kids. So is Yennefer. That's why they both adopt Ciri.
Except that the process to become a Witcher made Geralt sterile means no witcher babies from him. No matter who he lays with in the carnal sense of the word. It's the same issue for Yen, she is also sterile. Becoming a sorceress made it impossible for her to have kids.
